Welcome to North West Tonight with Roger Johnson - | :00:00. | :00:13.
A priest is robbed at gunpoint in St Helens. | :00:14. | :00:17.
The thieves stole Christmas cash collected for orphans. | :00:18. | :00:20.
It is a client of forgiveness that I am sorry, that you deserve it. It is | :00:21. | :00:27.
disgusting. The money was to help an orphanages of way. | :00:28. | :00:39.
As hundreds complain Christmas presents haven't arrived, | :00:40. | :00:40.
Rochdale firm Savvibuy says they will be sent out in time. | :00:41. | :00:43.
Fears for the future of Morecambe Football Club as one | :00:44. | :00:46.
And the youngsters - who gave their pennies | :00:47. | :00:48.
for the guy to a homeless man - jumping for joy after | :00:49. | :00:51.
Police have described three robbers who threatened a Merseyside priest | :00:52. | :01:11.
with a gun as "despicable" The masked men ordered a priest | :01:12. | :01:13.
in St Helens to hand over cash collected for a | :01:14. | :01:16.
The Catholic Church says it's an attack on the whole | :01:17. | :01:19.
Our Merseyside Reporter, Andy Gill, has the story. | :01:20. | :01:36.
Three masked men rang the doorbell of the St Vincent | :01:37. | :01:39.
in St Helens just before half past six last night. | :01:40. | :01:42.
They the ordered the priest Father Pete Hannah, to take | :01:43. | :01:46.
them round to the church and empty the safe. | :01:47. | :01:48.
They made off on foot with cash which parishioners had raised | :01:49. | :01:51.
Police don't know if the handgun was real or a replica. | :01:52. | :02:30.
One woman who lives next door to the church expressed | :02:31. | :02:32.
Police are checking cctv and carrying out house | :02:33. | :02:35.
The 3 men are described as white, aged 17 to 21 | :02:36. | :03:45.
Christmas haven't arrived. Of the company says | :03:46. | :03:52.
delivered to us about this company? It is a web-based site offering a | :03:53. | :04:00.
range of political goods at what they say are competitive prices. | :04:01. | :04:06.
Some people say they have placed orders, paid cash and not received | :04:07. | :04:10.
their goods. Others are saying it is difficult get through to the company | :04:11. | :04:14.
by phone or e-mail. Some of their disgruntled customers have set up a | :04:15. | :04:17.
Facebook page. It's scrolling through there. I funded members on | :04:18. | :04:22.
that site complaining about the company. A woman from Liverpool is a | :04:23. | :04:28.
customer, she says she's been waiting for a PlayStation controller | :04:29. | :04:32.
she ordered in November. She was hoping to have it at her home by | :04:33. | :04:35.
Christmas. I feel absolutely disgusted. You go | :04:36. | :04:40.
onto the internet, you see the item, you pay your money, you expect to | :04:41. | :04:45.
receive the item. And they just haven't done that. | :04:46. | :04:52.
So what has the company had to say? Like the customers, we had | :04:53. | :04:55.
difficulty getting through. I went to their postal address, a street in | :04:56. | :05:00.
Rochdale. As when ten, there was a customer there are complaining good | :05:01. | :05:04.
arrived. The system gave him a reference number which he said would | :05:05. | :05:09.
guarantee the money would go it his account in the next few days. | :05:10. | :05:14.
They said some orders had not been delivered and apologised for the | :05:15. | :05:20.
problems and blamed their suppliers. But they did promise that all goods | :05:21. | :05:24.
would be delivered by this Friday, December 23 at the latest. This | :05:25. | :05:29.
statement goes on to have a go at that Facebook page and says that a | :05:30. | :05:33.
number of people on there have had refunds and cases settled. They said | :05:34. | :05:38.
some people on the page had been harassing staff unfairly, and that | :05:39. | :05:41.
they want to work with customers and shouldn't have to work with militias | :05:42. | :05:47.
groups which include and customers to have those matters resolved -- | :05:48. | :05:48.
malicious groups. Police have named a man killed | :05:49. | :05:53.
on a pedestrian crossing when he was hit by a scrambler bike | :05:54. | :05:56.
He was Kevin McPadden The accident happened | :05:57. | :05:59.
yesterday afternoon. Two people arrested on suspicion | :06:00. | :06:02.
of causing death by dangerous driving have been released | :06:03. | :06:04.
while police continue A teenager who was the lookout | :06:05. | :06:06.
as his brother and friend beat a homeless man to death must | :06:07. | :06:11.
complete his minimum jail term, 54-year-old Kevin Bennett | :06:12. | :06:13.
was sleeping rough outside an Iceland supermarket in Walton | :06:14. | :06:18.
when he was attacked Brandon Doran will complete | :06:19. | :06:20.
a minimum of six years in jail. Police are searching for a man | :06:21. | :06:29.
caught "surfing" on top of a train He was seen climbing | :06:30. | :06:32.
on to the Merseyrail train between two carriages at Rock Ferry | :06:33. | :06:38.
station in Wirral on 11th December. The man concealed his face | :06:39. | :06:41.
and told staff he was called An ex-serviceman who admitted | :06:42. | :06:43.
attempting to burgle Wayne Rooney's mansion has been jailed for two | :06:44. | :06:52.
years eight months. Robert McNamara pleaded guilty | :06:53. | :06:54.
to attempting to trespass with the intent to steal | :06:55. | :06:57.
from the strikers home while the footballer played | :06:58. | :06:59.
in his club testimonial match. Councillors in Trafford are tonight | :07:00. | :07:07.
being urged to fight a proposal to build 750 new homes | :07:08. | :07:10.
on greenbelt land. Opponents say the plan to build | :07:11. | :07:13.
on a golf course in Flixton But supporters say it's part | :07:14. | :07:17.
of a huge long-term plan to ease Greater Manchester's housing crisis | :07:18. | :07:23.
and boost the local economy. Our Political Editor Nina Warhurst | :07:24. | :07:25.
is at Trafford Council This plan is really dividing | :07:26. | :07:42.
opinion, isn't it? That's right, Annabelle. Tonight's meeting is | :07:43. | :07:46.
essentially about the human cost of urban growth. And whether it is | :07:47. | :07:53.
worth using green belt land so that development can happen. The council | :07:54. | :07:59.
is to acknowledge that thousands of residents do not want the planned to | :08:00. | :08:05.
go ahead. As part of Greater Manchester spatial framework plan, | :08:06. | :08:08.
they predict the local economy could grow by ?5 billion over two decades | :08:09. | :08:13.
but for that to happen we need more than 200,000 new homes and for that | :08:14. | :08:18.
to happen, we need to read some of our green belt land. Not just here | :08:19. | :08:21.
in Trafford but across greater Manchester. | :08:22. | :08:27.
This is a farm near Bolton, Michael is feeding cows here as his father | :08:28. | :08:33.
did before him. Laura was hoping to continue this tradition but now the | :08:34. | :08:37.
land is honourable to development. It will be a complete change of | :08:38. | :08:42.
life. What will we do we go? I a clue to be honest. This is all you | :08:43. | :08:48.
know? All I've done since I was a child -- I have not got a clue. | :08:49. | :08:55.
Michael's farm is currently part of Greater Manchester's protected green | :08:56. | :08:59.
belt land, making up 47% of its land mass. And new developments, these | :09:00. | :09:03.
areas of Orange will be freed up to be built on. And if it happens, | :09:04. | :09:08.
Greater Manchester's green belt will drop to 43%. This golf courses on | :09:09. | :09:15.
the other side of Manchester in Trafford and, like Michael's farm, | :09:16. | :09:19.
it's earmarked for development under the plan. The plan says over the | :09:20. | :09:23.
next two decades, Greater Manchester's development will go up | :09:24. | :09:28.
by almost 300000 and we need to be ready. But to do that, something has | :09:29. | :09:33.
to give. In all, 5000 hectares could be lost but council leaders say that | :09:34. | :09:37.
by taking control, the remaining green space will be better | :09:38. | :09:41.
protected. The consequences of not having a plan is that we will | :09:42. | :09:46.
develop in an unconstrained way and I think it is important that we are | :09:47. | :09:50.
able to say that we know where development will be, we plan for it | :09:51. | :09:56.
so that we can control it. New homes mean new pressures on existing | :09:57. | :09:59.
communities. And more than one dozen MPs have got together to say that | :10:00. | :10:03.
they are worried that already stretched public services could | :10:04. | :10:08.
buckle. If there will be substantial building of new houses, we need | :10:09. | :10:12.
infrastructure to improve as well and better roads, provision for | :10:13. | :10:16.
schools and hospitals, and doctors. All of it needs to be taken into | :10:17. | :10:20.
account. Michael says that he fully understands that the world keeps | :10:21. | :10:24.
moving, and he has to move with it all be left behind. But he does hope | :10:25. | :10:28.
that his family does not have to give up their way of life. Andrew | :10:29. | :10:35.
Weston joins me now, the leader of the Labour group here at Trafford | :10:36. | :10:37.
Council who called the meeting tonight. What do you hope to achieve | :10:38. | :10:43.
by the meeting tonight? We are looking to secure a cross-party | :10:44. | :10:49.
acknowledgement and an acceptance that given that feeling and nature | :10:50. | :10:53.
and make-up of the site, that the council should never put this | :10:54. | :11:02.
forward for consideration in the framework in the first place. Beyond | :11:03. | :11:04.
that, if we can secure agreement, we would be hoping all councillors | :11:05. | :11:07.
cross-party will be sending in their objections, citing problems with the | :11:08. | :11:12.
Flixton proposal to make clear that those who are pulling together the | :11:13. | :11:16.
final documents that Brixton is not an appropriate site. People will be | :11:17. | :11:21.
thinking at home, we desperately need new houses, it's a classic case | :11:22. | :11:27.
of, not in my backyard? -- Flixton. I am very supportive of the | :11:28. | :11:32.
principle of this spatial framework and larger sites across Trafford, | :11:33. | :11:35.
they are going to be developed on green belt land. I feel that we have | :11:36. | :11:41.
two security homes that we need for the future -- had to secure. I think | :11:42. | :11:46.
that anyone should take a look at this site in Flixton, it has been a | :11:47. | :11:51.
cherished local facility. Every place that is built on will be | :11:52. | :11:55.
cherished by someone? There's a big difference between surety deeply | :11:56. | :12:00.
important sites like proposed in Carrington and a small location in a | :12:01. | :12:08.
village were with -- that would mean real upheaval for the community. | :12:09. | :12:12.
We will see at the meeting tonight whether any pressure is put on the | :12:13. | :12:16.
council and if they amend plans. You saw David Nuttall talking about | :12:17. | :12:20.
his frustration about the fact that this is pressing ahead from Greater | :12:21. | :12:24.
Manchester's combined authorities. Do not forget we are five months | :12:25. | :12:28.
away from having two elected mayors in the region and we will see more | :12:29. | :12:34.
in powers devolved away from Whitehall. | :12:35. | :12:40.
STUDIO: It will be very interesting. Thank you. | :12:41. | :13:00.
An appeal is being made tonight - for more people to give | :13:01. | :13:03.
consent to donate parts of their eyes for transplant. | :13:04. | :13:05.
The campaign's being backed by a visually-impaired | :13:06. | :13:06.
swimmer from Preston - who this year won Gold | :13:07. | :13:09.
Stephanie Slater - who suffers from a degenerative eye condition - | :13:10. | :13:12.
has had her sight saved by a cornea transplant. | :13:13. | :13:14.
Today she was reunited with the surgeon who carried out | :13:15. | :13:17.
Stephanie Slater is used to overcoming adversity - | :13:18. | :13:21.
But while preparing for this summer's Paralympic Games | :13:22. | :13:25.
she was told she needed a sight saving cornea transplant. | :13:26. | :13:27.
I cannot thank my donor enough. I am very lucky that there is a shortage | :13:28. | :13:32.
of corneas and I am very lucky that I was able to get one when I did. | :13:33. | :13:35.
The cornea is a clear, dome shaped window at the front of the eye, | :13:36. | :13:39.
It protects the eyes from germs and some of the suns UV Rays. | :13:40. | :13:44.
When damaged it can become distorted, causing loss of vision. | :13:45. | :13:46.
A lot of people I have spoken to do not realise that you can donate your | :13:47. | :13:53.
corneas. People thought it was artificial. And I was like no, it | :13:54. | :13:56.
comes from a real donor. But while corneal transplantation | :13:57. | :13:59.
is more successful than any other form of organ donation - getting | :14:00. | :14:01.
donors, is proving difficult. Consultant Surgeon Mark Batterbury | :14:02. | :14:03.
carried out Stephanie's transplant. We hit crisis every now and again, | :14:04. | :14:14.
and we cannot transplant as many as we require. Most of them are | :14:15. | :14:18.
psychological and cultural issues, donors for example thinking that | :14:19. | :14:22.
their whole I may go into a recipient and the recipient is | :14:23. | :14:26.
thinking that they might resemble the donor as well. This is not the | :14:27. | :14:31.
case at all. At the University of Liverpool, a team of 40 work to | :14:32. | :14:35.
tackle vision loss and it is one of the biggest centres of its kind in | :14:36. | :14:38.
Britain. Here, that cannot be used for | :14:39. | :14:42.
transplant will be used for research with the consent of donor. We are | :14:43. | :14:47.
developing new therapies for treating eye diseases used here in | :14:48. | :14:50.
the north-west or can be used globally to vision loss. -- treat | :14:51. | :14:55.
vision loss. Three months on from her transplant, | :14:56. | :14:57.
Stephanie's already preparing It will help me in the pool, help me | :14:58. | :15:05.
be able to finish my turns, getting vision back into my eyes will be | :15:06. | :15:07.
amazing. Her next big aim is to compete | :15:08. | :15:09.
in the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Ian Haslam, BBC North | :15:10. | :15:12.

Loch Nay Runcorn has seen boats of all shapes and sizes but more | :15:25. | :15:30.
recently, its depths have been explored by divers. Find out why... | :15:31. | :15:33.
And the youngsters who gave their pennies | :15:34. | :15:35.

I have never won anything before, it is brilliant. I'm happy for him, you | :15:39. | :15:44.
can stay warm and go to sleep instead of being cold all night. | :15:45. | :15:49.
Concern is growing for the future of Morecambe Football Club | :15:50. | :15:52.
after the resignation of one of its directors. | :15:53. | :15:54.
There's also increasing financial uncertainty after the club | :15:55. | :15:56.
was taken over by a Brazilian businessman in September. | :15:57. | :16:02.
Diego Lemos has so far been unavailable for comment. | :16:03. | :16:04.
Richard Askam is outside The Globe Arena this evening. | :16:05. | :16:12.
It is slightly concerning to say the least for fans but how serious this | :16:13. | :16:22.
this situation for the club? Very serious, you get different senses of | :16:23. | :16:23.
how serious it might be depending on who you speak to. I spoke to a | :16:24. | :16:32.
member of staff who said that he expected ways and staff to be paid | :16:33. | :16:37.
on time, and another said that he did not believe Diego Lemos has the | :16:38. | :16:41.
cash to fund the club. Morecambe fans have however been | :16:42. | :16:45.
left in the dark. The sun was out in Morecambe today but the club's | :16:46. | :16:48.
future is beginning to look increasingly gloomy. The brand-new | :16:49. | :16:53.
era predicted under the new owner has not materialised. | :16:54. | :16:56.
Resignations and financial uncertainty have left supporters | :16:57. | :17:01.
feeling lost. At the moment, it is frustration more than anything. We | :17:02. | :17:05.
do not know what is happening. Not had any indication from the club. | :17:06. | :17:08.
Every club has ups and downs but we need to be kept in the know. We | :17:09. | :17:13.
could rally together if we were kept in the know. Brazilian businessman | :17:14. | :17:19.
Diego Lemos took over in September. This is me speaking to him weeks | :17:20. | :17:21.
ago. But players have been sold rather | :17:22. | :17:27.
than bought and in October they were paid almost two weeks late. | :17:28. | :17:30.
Nigel Adams, one of the directors, today said this as he resigned... | :17:31. | :17:40.
The Morecambe supporters trust would like answers from the club's owner. | :17:41. | :17:47.
We are very worried that he's not been seen for 45 weeks at the club. | :17:48. | :17:53.
People have not been paid. There are rumours that there is financial | :17:54. | :17:58.
unrest. And Nigel going makes matters worse. They don't pay higher | :17:59. | :18:04.
wages but with a monthly bill estimated at ?150,000, and losses | :18:05. | :18:09.
understood to be ?10,000 per week, the club needs significant cash to | :18:10. | :18:13.
take over. Are you starting to wonder whether he has the money to | :18:14. | :18:20.
fund the club? Yes. Definitely. We are three months into his brain, we | :18:21. | :18:25.
have had to sell some of our best to pay wages. And nobody knows what is | :18:26. | :18:33.
happening -- reign. The manager says that this is the most important | :18:34. | :18:38.
period in club history and at this stage, there is little evidence to | :18:39. | :18:44.
suggest that he is wrong. I've had a quick chat today with the former | :18:45. | :18:47.
majority shareholder and current chairman still Peter McGuigan, he | :18:48. | :18:51.
didn't want to say much but he said he was concerned about the current | :18:52. | :18:55.
situation and has tried to contact Diego Lemos. So far, he's been | :18:56. | :19:01.
unsuccessful. I understand he's been based in Qatar for several years but | :19:02. | :19:04.
supporters here would like to know whether he is the man to take the | :19:05. | :19:09.
club forward or not. STUDIO: Richard, thank you. We will continue | :19:10. | :19:10.
to watch the developments. A giant lock on the River Weaver | :19:11. | :19:18.
in Cheshire has been drained for the first time in half a century | :19:19. | :19:21.
- as part of repair work costing Now it's quite a big job - | :19:22. | :19:24.
because whereas most locks can fit one narrowboat at a time - | :19:25. | :19:28.
this one can take ships. This from our Cheshire | :19:29. | :19:34.
Reporter Mark Edwardson. In it's 111 year history | :19:35. | :19:36.

what we are doing. It looks like a huge drop? Yes, we will be here for | :19:49. | :19:52.

it was a tremendous job. And doing everything by touch? Yes. That is | :20:27. | :20:30.
what the guys I used to doing. Rather than Ben Mee! To give you an | :20:31. | :20:36.
idea of how big the lock is, it's about 25 foot deep. -- rather them. | :20:37. | :20:44.
This can take 35 narrow boat simultaneously. | :20:45. | :20:46.
This half million pound scheme is designed to repair more | :20:47. | :20:49.
than a century of wear and the ravages of time. | :20:50. | :20:51.
Because the gate is not working properly, we are carrying out this | :20:52. | :20:58.
investment. We are hoping that it typically takes a few hours to use a | :20:59. | :21:05.
lock but that time will be reduced and be used for years to come. | :21:06. | :21:11.
It can me a dirty job - and someone's got to do it. | :21:12. | :21:14.
It is messy but it is brilliant. It is every boy's dream. Taking it | :21:15. | :21:22.
apart and putting a back together, what more would you want? | :21:23. | :21:25.
Marsh Lock is die to reopen by the end of next month...giving | :21:26. | :21:27.
boats large and small access to some of the country's most most | :21:28. | :21:30.
Mark Edwardson, BBC North West Tonight, Runcorn. | :21:31. | :21:35.
It is great to see Jamie enjoying himself! He is a man who loves his | :21:36. | :21:40.
job! You may remember a story | :21:41. | :21:55.
we did a few weeks ago - about six children who gave away | :21:56. | :21:59.
all the money they'd collected from Penny for the Guy | :22:00. | :22:02.
to a homeless man in Liverpool. They became famous when a photo | :22:03. | :22:05.
of their generosity went viral - and the man they helped | :22:06. | :22:07.
was given a home. He wanted to thank the children - | :22:08. | :22:10.
but didn't want to go on TV himself - so we sent Katie Walderman along | :22:11. | :22:13.
to surprise them. It all started as an act | :22:14. | :22:16.
of kindness that went viral.. When these Liverpool youngsters gave | :22:17. | :22:18.
away the money they'd collected from Penny for a Guy, | :22:19. | :22:21.
to homeless man - they had no idea it would be captured by a stranger | :22:22. | :22:24.
and seen by hundreds Little did the children know that | :22:25. | :22:30.
because of this, the man that they helped has a home of his own. An | :22:31. | :22:33.
example to us all really. This group of young people have seen | :22:34. | :22:38.
someone in real need, this act of kindness. It has allowed the | :22:39. | :22:47.
individual to get the necessary support he requires for his life. | :22:48. | :22:55.
Well today - all the children that were there that day in October - | :22:56. | :22:58.
giving Damien and others the money they'd collected are coming | :22:59. | :23:00.
here to meet those responsible for finding him his very own place. | :23:01. | :23:03.
And there's a very special surprise waiting for them... | :23:04. | :23:05.
You thought that I was coming here to say thank you for your kind act | :23:06. | :23:10.
but I am also saying on behalf of BBC North West tonight that each one | :23:11. | :23:13.
of you is a Christmas Star, well done! It's fantastic. Amazing! I am | :23:14. | :23:23.
jumping around! And I won a star! I have never won anything before, it | :23:24. | :23:28.
is brilliant! Now he can keep warm. I feel happy because we've done this | :23:29. | :23:34.
kind act for the homeless man. So he can get a house and live his life. | :23:35. | :23:39.
Stay warm and go to sleep instead of being cold all night. I think I've | :23:40. | :23:45.
done something good. I was telling people that it made me well up | :23:46. | :23:50.
inside because of what they had done. He was so happy when he heard | :23:51. | :23:55.
he had a house. He was saying mum, he can put a Christmas tree up and | :23:56. | :24:00.
can sleep in his bed! He was made up. An act of kindness by a group of | :24:01. | :24:04.
young people will make a life changing difference for this | :24:05. | :24:06.
individual. It is fabulous. Katie Walderman, BBC | :24:07. | :24:08.
North West Tonight, I just think that is fantastic. That | :24:09. | :24:18.
picture has changed that man's life. A very special Christmas for him. | :24:19. | :24:22.
And your heart goes out to anyone who will find themselves without a | :24:23. | :24:28.
home on Christmas Day. It is not going to be good weather this week. | :24:29. | :24:31.
Not that cold. But it will be really poor | :24:32. | :24:36.
conditions. Good evening. We've been talking about difficult conditions | :24:37. | :24:38.
in the run-up to Christmas and that is still our story for the next 24 | :24:39. | :24:44.
hours, we are looking at storm Barbara coming towards us. Very | :24:45. | :24:48.
windy weather, storm Barbara is not the only difficult conditions that | :24:49. | :24:51.
we have. On Christmas Day, it will still be | :24:52. | :24:56.
tricky. Wet first thing this morning, the sun came out this | :24:57. | :25:00.
afternoon. A couple of showers here and there. This evening, this is the | :25:01. | :25:05.
latest picture, a fume or moving across north-west England over the | :25:06. | :25:08.
next hour. -- a few more. Look at this clear | :25:09. | :25:12.
weather. More clear skies than recently. Blue on the map, | :25:13. | :25:20.
particularly over high-level routes. Temperatures generally 3-5 in most | :25:21. | :25:24.
towns and cities but where you have long clear spells towards the early | :25:25. | :25:30.
hour of the morning, 0- -1, even minus two degrees. | :25:31. | :25:32.
That's the exception rather than the rule but it could be possible in | :25:33. | :25:37.
places. Some showers in the north of the region, in parts of Cumbria, | :25:38. | :25:40.
Isle of Man, and in Lancashire first thing tomorrow morning. That's the | :25:41. | :25:42.
pattern tomorrow. Anne -- and unsettled picture. Not many | :25:43. | :25:53.
showers, evenly spaced across the region. They will be heavy and | :25:54. | :25:57.
lively but they are moving through quickly. Look at this, some spells | :25:58. | :26:03.
of sunshine. Temperatures drop considerably but in many places, | :26:04. | :26:07.
temperatures of seven or 8 degrees in the sunshine. This breeze from | :26:08. | :26:10.
the west of the south-west and it does not feel too cold or too raw. | :26:11. | :26:15.
Afterwards, conditions begin to get difficult. This yellow warning is | :26:16. | :26:21.
for storm Barbara, and on Friday, this warning is in place for | :26:22. | :26:25.
anywhere to the north of the Wirral. Places like Cheshire, greater | :26:26. | :26:28.
Manchester, not really under it. But it is too close to call. Winds | :26:29. | :26:38.
of 50-70 mph in gusts. It comes in from the Irish Sea, and the north of | :26:39. | :26:43.
us could be badly affected. Christmas Day is looking like it | :26:44. | :26:46.
will be difficult as well. Thank you.. As you walk back, it's a | :26:47. | :26:53.
momentous walk tonight... For the final time... | :26:54. | :26:58.
The man behind that camera, he has been there for decades... He is | :26:59. | :27:03.
retiring this Christmas! Kenward. There he is. And not just behind the | :27:04. | :27:08.
camera, he's been on the road for years -- Ken Ward. He's been with us | :27:09. | :27:15.
for 46 years. What can we say about Ken? He has worked here and is the | :27:16. | :27:21.
most charming and lovely. Old school in the best possible way. A | :27:22. | :27:25.
gentleman with old school values. We can never meet anyone better. | :27:26. | :27:29.
Anyone who has ever visited knows that he has time for anyone. | :27:30. | :27:33.
Ken, North West tonight will not be the same. | :27:34. | :27:38.
Ken, we will really miss you! It's time for the big move, take it away, | :27:39. | :27:40.
Ken! CLAPPING | :27:41. | :27:54.
The roads we walk have demons beneath them... | :27:55. | :27:59.
..and yours have been waiting for a very long time. | :28:00. | :28:04.
What is this? We can't do this. Is this supposed to be a game? | :28:05. | :28:13.
I thought this was some kind of... What? ..trick. | :28:14. | :28:15.
Of course it's not a trick. It's a plan. | :28:16. | :28:17.
What's the very worst thing you can do... | :28:18. | :28:21. |
