Police investigating the terrorist attack in Westminster make two more

We'll have the latest live from the scene.

George Osborne will tonight face a grilling from his local

Police investigating the terrorist outrage in Westminster have arrested

two people in Manchester. They are among a number of arrests by

detectives trying to establish whether Cally Masood was helped or

encouraged by others before its attack on the capital. Our chief

reporter is in west Didsbury Waratah starts tonight.

That's right, you can see a police car behind me, at present still here

at this gated housing department as has been throughout the day this

morning. A man of 35 arrested here by detectives investigating the

outrage in Westminster. Greater Manchester Police helping a net

operating, but it very much being handled by the Metropolitan Police.

It wasn't until lunchtime they got confirmation that west Didsbury had

been involved in that operation. We heard from a 32-year-old woman who

had also been arrested. Quite a day of events in this enquiry.

In the aftermath of the outrage, the place very quickly identified the

attacker. Now they must identify whether Khalid Masood acted alone or

in collision with others. The investigation by the Metropolitan

Police has led to a number of arrests in different parts of the

country. Yesterday, the concentrated on Birmingham. Today came news that

had been arrests close to home, so far as this region is concerned.

We have made two significant arrests overnight. One in the West Midlands,

one in the North West. We have five addresses that the search is

continuing, and six search is concluded.

The scene of one of those searchers, this gated housing development in

west Manchester. A man of 35 was arrested here in the early hours of

the morning. At had no idea what was going on, I

didn't see anything and I wasn't told anything either.

media. In addition to the 35 man arrested here early this morning,

the Metropolitan Police now tell us a 32-year-old woman has also been

arrested as part of their operation in Manchester today. Meanwhile, in

London, a Edge Hill university students who find themselves at the

centre of yesterday's dramatist in hospital. He had a special visitor

today in the shape of the Prince of Wales.

The students have dealt with this very maturely, supporting each

other. I don't think I was be like that at their age, I'm so proud of

them. Meanwhile, the investigation into
