have been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a man in Manchester.

:00:10.:00:14.

and potentially life-threatening condition in hospital.

:00:15.:00:19.

Police were called to Chinley Avenue in Moston on Saturday night,

:00:20.:00:23.

where he was found unconscious and bleeding in the street.

:00:24.:00:27.

A police investigation is underway after a man was attacked

:00:28.:00:30.

with an axe at a nightclub in Manchester city centre.

:00:31.:00:33.

It happened inside the Bijou club on Chapel Street last night.

:00:34.:00:36.

A man was left with serious injuries.

:00:37.:00:38.

He's now in a stable condition in hospital.

:00:39.:00:40.

Survivors of child sexual exploitation have launched

:00:41.:00:48.

a new powerful campaign to tackle what they say is a growing threat.

:00:49.:00:51.

Digital billboards carrying their message

:00:52.:00:53.

have started to appear in Manchester.

:00:54.:00:54.

The group of young women behind the campaign

:00:55.:00:56.

want to use their own experiences to encourage victims to speak out.

:00:57.:00:59.

without you even knowing it is happening.

:01:00.:01:08.

What needs to be changed is the way that people

:01:09.:01:12.

keep it a secret and talk about it behind closed doors.

:01:13.:01:15.

Survivors of abuse who have waived their right to anonymity

:01:16.:01:19.

to put their names and faces behind a new campaign.

:01:20.:01:23.

From today, these digital billboards have appeared across Manchester.

:01:24.:01:29.

We have first-hand experience of the dark side of CSE,

:01:30.:01:34.

where it can go wrong, where you can be left behind.

:01:35.:01:39.

I think that we have something very important to say.

:01:40.:01:42.

Yeah, there's a lack of conversation.

:01:43.:01:44.

People need to come together and speak about it more,

:01:45.:01:48.

Reign is one of a number of campaigns run by Reclaim,

:01:49.:01:54.

a charity that promotes the voices of young, working-class people.

:01:55.:01:59.

So often when people talk about victims,

:02:00.:02:01.

they'll immediately be given pity

:02:02.:02:03.

and people forget that they are resilient,

:02:04.:02:05.

they are strong, they have come through things,

:02:06.:02:07.

and that they don't want to be defined by the abuse.

:02:08.:02:10.

and then they've got on with their lives.

:02:11.:02:12.

These billboards are just the beginning.

:02:13.:02:14.

The plan is to take the message into schools

:02:15.:02:16.

and directly to public bodies through a series of workshops.

:02:17.:02:20.

and I do think that children are being let down,

:02:21.:02:25.

and that's why, with Reign, we want to create these workshops

:02:26.:02:27.

that can educate professionals so that children aren't let down.

:02:28.:02:31.

These survivors want to put an end to that.

:02:32.:02:42.

a small film made in Liverpool became a big hit.

:02:43.:02:45.

Letter To Brezhnev was about two friends more pre-occupied

:02:46.:02:48.

It became one of the best loved movies of the '80s,

:02:49.:02:54.

and now the cast is being reunited, as Colin Paterson reports.

:02:55.:02:58.

The director and one of the stars of Letter To Brezhnev,

:02:59.:03:01.

Talk about Roman hands and Russian fingers!

:03:02.:03:08.

It was the tiny film from Liverpool which travelled the world.

:03:09.:03:14.

It told the simple tale of a pair of local girls

:03:15.:03:17.

spending the night with two Russian sailors,

:03:18.:03:19.

set against the political backdrop of the time.

:03:20.:03:23.

We were sick, I think, of seeing the way the city was portrayed,

:03:24.:03:27.

At that point in time, it was almost dead, you know?

:03:28.:03:35.

We had no industry, it had all been closed down.

:03:36.:03:38.

The river, there were no longer ships on the river.

:03:39.:03:42.

And from a Letter To Brezhnev, it gave us a film industry.

:03:43.:03:46.

Now the cast are reuniting for the first time in more than

:03:47.:03:53.

30 years for a special screening at Fact in Liverpool tomorrow,

:03:54.:03:55.

It's going to be very cold night. Many places will see a frost. The

:03:56.:04:15.

sun came out towards the tail end of the day, so we are seeing clear

:04:16.:04:19.

skies, which is where the temperatures will fall away. These

:04:20.:04:23.

numbers are put out and cities, so it will be: that in the countryside.

:04:24.:04:27.

Also some spots of drizzly rain which will continue to drop further

:04:28.:04:31.

south over the next few hours, then the cloudy weather will -- clear

:04:32.:04:38.

weather we'll move in. Two or three degrees for most towns and cities,

:04:39.:04:46.

and perhaps -2 or -3 for the countryside. Weather you are, it

:04:47.:04:50.

will quite cool in the morning. You will see it all through the day

:04:51.:04:55.

tomorrow, it is a nice day. Tonnes of sunshine on offer. More weak and

:04:56.:05:00.

hazy towards the tail end of the day, but lots of sunshine to enjoy.

:05:01.:05:06.

bream light winds for most of us. -- bream light winds for most of us. --

:05:07.:05:11.

very light winds. Temperatures will be 11 or 12 degrees. Tomorrow night,

:05:12.:05:16.

nowhere near as cold, you'll be pleased to hear.

:05:17.:05:18.

A fresh morning on the way tomorrow, even some frost around, not

:05:19.:06:19.

necessarily two in city centres, but in rural air is quite sharp,

:06:20.:06:24.

especially across Scotland, and temperatures in

:06:25.:06:26.
