A man has been arrested for the news where you are.

following the death of a baby in Bristol.

Police officers and paramedics were called to a property

in Britton Gardens in Kingswood in the early hours of Christmas Day.

Despite their efforts, the baby, who was six months old, died.

Drivers on the M5 in Somerset and near Bristol

after stretches were closed due to icy conditions.

The Somerset teenager whose family were forced to pay

for a potentially life-saving bone-marrow transplant

say he's hoping to go back to school soon.

Daryl Allinson celebrated his 14th birthday on Christmas Eve.

Clinton Rogers went to see him at his home in Frome.

they wondered if he would even be here for Christmas 2016.

Now the family has new hope, new optimism for the future.

Daryl has been through much in his young life, but

five months after his second bone-marrow transplant, he says

You have put on weight since I last saw you.

Are you feeling better? Yes, I feel so much better.

More energy, wanting to do more stuff.

I am just over the moon, I am so pleased, I am so proud of him.

I just can't thank everybody enough for their generosity.

It was the public's generosity in raising close to ?100,000

on a crowd-funding website that allowed Daryl to have

a second bone-marrow transplant at Bristol Children's Hospital.

The first transplant failed, and his rare leukaemia returned.

At that point, NHS England turned down the funding

for a second operation based largely on its chances of success.

At the time, they said these were difficult decisions to make.

No-one knows what the future holds, but the boy who celebrated his 14th

birthday on Christmas Eve says that if he continues to recover well,

he hopes to start back at school in the spring -

and then return to his true love, football.

Rugby, and Gloucester ran out in front of a crowd of 77,500

against Harlequins at Twickenham this afternoon.

The visitors fought back hard in the second half,

putting the ball over the line three times,

with tries from Gareth Evans, James Hook

and a first Premiership try from Motu Matu'u.

with a final score of Harlequins 28, Gloucester 24.

Now, we do have another cold night on the cards.

and we've got some fog as well to contend with.

That patchy fog could well be a problem.

We do have a yellow weather warning in place from the Met Office,

which is valid from midnight tonight right through until midday tomorrow.

perhaps some freezing fog in the mix as well.

So we will see a chilly and grey start to the day

for most tomorrow morning, some of that fog will be stubborn,

but we could start to see some more brightness developing,

particularly the further west you are,

those temperatures could creep up to around eight or nine degrees.

But where we stick with the fog, and cloud through much of the day,

those temperatures really are going to struggle.

Now, as we take a look ahead to Thursday, that high pressure

that we've had with us the last couple of days stays put,

so we've got that settled theme right through

It means we will stick with a fair amount of cloud,

but it looks like we should stay dry.

So here is your summary, then, for the coming days -

yes, we do have that weather warning in place through tomorrow morning,

but it looks like we will start to see

some brighter skies developing later in the day.

Then towards the tail end of this week, cloudy conditions,

It looks like it will still feel rather cold, particularly

with that cloud coverage, but as we go towards the New Year,

it looks like we'll see some crisp and bright conditions to start 2017.
