Good evening. A South East LEP says the government must act now and

apply for funding from the DU to help victims of flooding. So far it

hasn't made a claim for European Solidarity Funding. Jane Witherspoon

reports. Their water may have receded but the effects are still

very visible. Southwest NCEP Catherine Bearder says the

government are not doing enough She is angry that they have still not

applied for flood aid. They do not have to actually take the money in

the end if defined they will be OK. If they don't claim in thosd ten

weeks they have lost it. 120 families were evacuated durhng the

flights from here. 14 of thdm are still to return home. Everybody

drops everything and pumps everything into it. We have a

disaster and we get visits. I don't need help but so many peopld do The

government should be doing everything they can. People should

apply for it if we are entitled to it. There is some confusion as to

whether or not the qualified for the money after this defeat was

received. Now a sport pertinent has said that my Facebook 's person has

said that they will be an attempt to claim any money that might be

available. A van driver's been taken to

hospital after a collision with two cars. One of the cars went hnto the

side of a house in Favershal. The driver's injuries are not thought to

be serious. The first mosque in Kent with a

minaret tower and a dome has opened. The place of worship has bedn

transformed with ?500,000 pounds. The building's been used as a a

Here's the weather. We have got quite a chilly night
