The leader of Brighton and Hove City Council has called

for the Transport Secretary, Chris Grayling to step down

if he can't resolve the industrial dispute between Southern Rail

It comes as the RMT union begins another two day strike

at midnight tonight - as Jon Hunt reports:

Hello. Exactly a week to Christmas but it did not feel that way in

north-east Scotland today with temperatures as high as 13 Celsius

in Aberdeenshire. This is one Weather Watcher's view. It is colder
