in damages after undergoing laser eye surgery says she's relidved she

damages. The judge ruled th`t Stephanie had not been given

sufficient information about the risks of surgery in order to give

informed consent. The judge said giving her a consent form to sign

seven minutes before the surgery was not how things should be done. The

guidelines should digest thd patient should be given a consent form 4

hours before surgery. If I had been explained what could happen with the

procedure, I would not have had the surgery, it is not that simple `` it
