Less than 24 hours to go until Plymouth welcomes the world. There | :00:20. | :00:25.
is spray flying and boats were crashing sometimes. There's just | :00:25. | :00:29.
all kinds of action at all the time, it never stops. Good evening. This | :00:29. | :00:33.
is BBC Spotlight. It is misty and damp here but organisers say | :00:33. | :00:36.
conditions for the opening of the America's Cup World Series tomorrow | :00:36. | :00:46.
:00:46. | :00:49. | ||
promise some thrilling action. And Tonight what it's like to race on | :00:49. | :00:52.
the water, the best places to see this free global event and as a | :00:52. | :01:02.
city prepares we'll assess the true value to the local economy. | :01:02. | :01:05.
It is a fantastic thing for Plymouth, it is putting Plymouth on | :01:05. | :01:12.
the map. There is no such thing as bad publicity but it is quite easy | :01:12. | :01:16.
to be over optimistic as to the long-term benefits. | :01:16. | :01:19.
Also in the South West tonight - a damning report into a Cornish | :01:19. | :01:28.
nursing home. Some people did not have the food for medication they | :01:28. | :01:34.
needed. Changes will now be made and the home has apologised. | :01:34. | :01:37.
I'm live on Plymouth Hoe - one of the great vantage points for the | :01:37. | :01:43.
America's Cup World Series. It's expected to become a giant | :01:43. | :01:46.
amphitheatre filled with thousands of people over the weekend - a | :01:46. | :01:53.
stadium looking down on all the action in the Sound. As well as the | :01:53. | :01:56.
crowds coming in, the pictures are going to be going out to a global | :01:56. | :02:04.
audience. Depending on the weather it could be just the boost Plymouth | :02:04. | :02:07.
needs. With the economy in the doldrums, the loss of the airport | :02:07. | :02:10.
and the football club struggling to survive, it is a big opportunity | :02:10. | :02:20.
:02:20. | :02:25. | ||
for a our biggest city. But how valuable is it? | :02:26. | :02:31.
This is an unrepeatable opportunity. Nine days, during which pictures | :02:31. | :02:36.
will be beamed around the world. How come -- how much can I come | :02:36. | :02:39.
away with and what does it cost to get all this? The council says it | :02:39. | :02:43.
cannot reveal how much, if anything, it paid to secure the Cup in the | :02:43. | :02:51.
first place. We do know that spend up to 200,000 on stages. Some | :02:51. | :02:56.
benefits are already obvious. Our survey has shown a number of hotels | :02:56. | :03:00.
have been putting their prices up for the coming week. This hotelier | :03:00. | :03:06.
says he has neither raised prices or squeezed out previous bookings, | :03:06. | :03:11.
though some hotels have. I know of a few that have passed at the | :03:11. | :03:18.
King's that were already had, to accommodate teams. Cancel bookings? | :03:18. | :03:22.
I believe so. Have I financially put out to get the America's Cup | :03:22. | :03:27.
here? I'm not sure, I'm not sure where the findings have come from. | :03:27. | :03:32.
There will be hidden costs, I'm sure. It's a fantastic thing for | :03:32. | :03:36.
Plymouth. It is putting a limit on the map. A huge sporting event | :03:36. | :03:40.
which is great for us because it will bring more people here other's | :03:40. | :03:44.
hands of the year as well. It is a good thing for the city but the | :03:44. | :03:48.
question is, how big is the benefit? They will be more people | :03:48. | :03:52.
staying in hotels, there will be considered spending but a lot of it | :03:52. | :03:54.
will be the distribution of spending that would have occurred | :03:54. | :04:01.
in Plymouth over in Devon and Cornwall. This was a 25 hotels this | :04:01. | :04:05.
week, most say trade was up though few were actually fully booked by | :04:05. | :04:10.
yesterday. Not that it is all about hotels. This really is a global | :04:10. | :04:14.
event which will be excellent news for the city of Plymouth and for | :04:14. | :04:20.
the businesses, not just the hospitality business. It is about | :04:20. | :04:24.
the real estate, the man factoring side, showing Plymouth of to its | :04:24. | :04:30.
best advantage. It is putting Plymouth into a select bracket of | :04:30. | :04:34.
world-class maritime cities like Venice and San Francisco, | :04:34. | :04:42.
comparisons don't get any more impressive than that. | :04:42. | :04:50.
I'm joined now by Dave Young from the local organising committee. Put | :04:50. | :04:58.
this in context for us, high profile is this? This is a major, | :04:58. | :05:02.
major event, probably one of the biggest trophy events in yacht | :05:02. | :05:05.
racing. It is the oldest trophy in the world and the ambitions of this | :05:05. | :05:12.
team better here are to make it the equivalent of Formula One. It is | :05:12. | :05:15.
costing money as well, are you confident that the South West can | :05:15. | :05:20.
make that money back and more? times over, no doubt about that. We | :05:20. | :05:27.
have already seen a return on investment that has been made. The | :05:27. | :05:31.
direct investment of 1000 people in the City from the teams and the | :05:31. | :05:35.
people putting this on, and the global recognition will be immense. | :05:35. | :05:39.
This is not just money there could be spent elsewhere? Categorically | :05:39. | :05:44.
not, this is brand new expenditure coming into our city and giving as | :05:44. | :05:48.
a profile on the world stage, the like of which we cannot have wished | :05:48. | :05:52.
for. Does it all hinged on the weather, does that make it a | :05:52. | :05:56.
success? The weather is obviously a factor in terms of how many people | :05:56. | :06:02.
will turn out. The winds have been very strong today but the bottom | :06:02. | :06:07.
line is, these racers have to go out in all conditions. We just want | :06:07. | :06:14.
everyone to come out, whatever the weather, to support this event. | :06:14. | :06:17.
If you thought sailing was about white triangles on a blue | :06:17. | :06:20.
background our reporter finds out this is not Swallows and Amazons | :06:20. | :06:24.
but quite an extreme sport. That's later in the programme plus much | :06:24. | :06:27.
more on the weather forecast, the build-up behind the scenes and | :06:27. | :06:30.
where you can see all the action. But now the rest of the day's news | :06:30. | :06:33.
with Natalie. Care inspectors have forced a | :06:33. | :06:36.
Cornish nursing home to make immediate changes, after they found | :06:36. | :06:39.
bedbound residents were left all day without being given a drink or | :06:39. | :06:43.
turned in their beds. The Care Quality Commission found countless | :06:43. | :06:48.
failings at St Theresa's Care Centre in Callington. The home has | :06:48. | :06:58.
:06:58. | :07:00. | ||
now apologised. The sea with two little ones, this | :07:00. | :07:04.
lady visits her mum in the care home every day. She is disabled | :07:04. | :07:08.
following a stroke. Before moving to her current home, she spent | :07:08. | :07:13.
three years in St Teresa's where her daughter regularly had cause to | :07:13. | :07:19.
complain. She never had a bat in over three years, she was very | :07:19. | :07:23.
rarely given a proper Betwatch, which I used to do. If I went in | :07:23. | :07:28.
the morning, I would be lucky if she had been attended or put in her | :07:28. | :07:32.
wheelchair. Very often, she was left in bed until lunchtime. Last | :07:32. | :07:38.
month, inspectors found many complaints at the way patients were | :07:38. | :07:44.
being looked after. They found that people were given no drinks or a | :07:44. | :07:54.
:07:54. | :08:04. | ||
Several staff have told us that they have reported concerns to the | :08:04. | :08:08.
care watchdog about the way that home was run over a number of years. | :08:08. | :08:12.
This lady has set up a charity to explore for Standards in Cornwall | :08:12. | :08:17.
and says the report vindicates her campaign. I am not surprised by a | :08:17. | :08:21.
lot of the issues that have been brought up by this inspection as I | :08:21. | :08:24.
have had reports from all over Cornwall but this is happening in | :08:24. | :08:30.
quite a few care homes. A lot of it, there is very shocking and I am | :08:30. | :08:34.
relieved that at last, the Care Quality Commission have exposed the | :08:34. | :08:40.
feelings. The Care Quality Commission found countless failings | :08:40. | :08:50.
:08:50. | :08:50. | ||
and 10 major concerns. In a statement today, the owners of the | :08:50. | :08:54.
home say that this is the first adverse report the home has had in | :08:54. | :08:58.
25 years. They say they are deeply shocked and have apologised for | :08:58. | :09:03.
their feelings and say a far reaching and robust action playing | :09:03. | :09:07.
has been put in place. But I was told earlier that the Home still | :09:07. | :09:10.
has much to do to provide the standard of care the residents | :09:10. | :09:16.
deserve. When our inspectors visited and found a degree of | :09:16. | :09:20.
problems so for example people not being able to call for help, | :09:20. | :09:27.
problems with care plans that were not detailed enough, the premises | :09:27. | :09:31.
and the building not being sufficient, not being enough staff | :09:31. | :09:35.
to look after them properly. That is very serious indeed. As a result | :09:35. | :09:40.
of that, reworked both with the provider but with the local | :09:40. | :09:44.
authority and safeguarding unit to make sure that people were not at | :09:44. | :09:49.
risk of imminent harm but then from regulation. If you, put actions on | :09:49. | :09:53.
them very quickly and required them to take action straight away. | :09:53. | :09:56.
Police searching for a missing teenager from Wales believe she may | :09:56. | :09:58.
have travelled to Cornwall where she has family connections. 14 year | :09:58. | :10:01.
old Seren Bernard, from Haverfordwest, was last seen nine | :10:01. | :10:04.
days ago. Police are growing increasingly concerned for her | :10:04. | :10:08.
safety. Her family have made an emotional appeal for help in | :10:08. | :10:16.
finding her. Please contact somebody to make | :10:17. | :10:23.
sure you are all right and if she is with anyone and she won't do it, | :10:23. | :10:31.
please, please, please contact us because we are going mental here. | :10:31. | :10:34.
Final plans for the South Devon Link Road have been submitted to | :10:34. | :10:36.
the Government today. The authorities argue the scheme, which | :10:36. | :10:39.
would by-pass Kingskerswell is vital for the economic well-being | :10:39. | :10:43.
of the whole region but opponents say it would be a waste of money. A | :10:43. | :10:46.
final decision on funding for the project is not expected until the | :10:46. | :10:50.
end of the year. Hundreds of bikers led a funeral | :10:50. | :10:54.
procession in memory of a Plymouth man who died after his motor bike | :10:54. | :10:58.
crashed last month. John Twitchell, who was 41, hit a wall on Mannamead | :10:58. | :11:02.
Road. He'd been a member of the city's Aquila Motorcycle Club for | :11:02. | :11:05.
the last five years and it's thought riders from all over the | :11:05. | :11:15.
:11:15. | :11:18. | ||
country came to pay their respects. The United Kingdom Independence | :11:18. | :11:22.
Party - which has two MEPs in the South West - opened its annual | :11:22. | :11:24.
conference in Eastbourne today. Leader Nigel Farage urged | :11:24. | :11:26.
Eurosceptic Conservatives to join UKIP and called for the | :11:26. | :11:29.
introduction of an English Parliament. | :11:29. | :11:38.
We are discouraged from describing ourselves as English. They seem to | :11:38. | :11:43.
me in horror at the idea of the cross of St George and I think that | :11:43. | :11:46.
we need to do something to plug that gap. | :11:47. | :11:50.
The Green Party - which has four councillors in the South West - is | :11:50. | :11:52.
also holding its conference this weekend in Sheffield. Party leader | :11:53. | :11:55.
Caroline Lucas used her platform speech to criticise the coalition | :11:55. | :12:03.
government's housing policy. I have to say to the captain | :12:03. | :12:11.
mothering of local government and committees, Eric Pickles -- Eric | :12:11. | :12:18.
Pickles, cutting the budget by 60% is a strange way of demonstrating | :12:18. | :12:28.
:12:28. | :12:39. | ||
commitment. He has rescinded his bid today | :12:39. | :12:48.
which means there are three bids on the table. | :12:48. | :12:51.
Let's start with cricket and Somerset's chances of winning the | :12:51. | :12:55.
County Championship for the first time ever are still alive. They | :12:55. | :13:00.
bowled Yorkshire out for 195 - a first innings lead of 65. But their | :13:00. | :13:05.
second innings hasn't gone well. They were 124 for 6 at the close. | :13:05. | :13:11.
So the bowlers will have it all to do on the final day tomorrow. How | :13:11. | :13:14.
do you follow one of the best results in your club's history? | :13:14. | :13:17.
Hopefully with another win, that's the view of the Exeter Chiefs as | :13:17. | :13:20.
they play their first home game of the Premiership season tomorrow. | :13:20. | :13:22.
After Saturday's historic victory at Leicester they take on Newcastle, | :13:22. | :13:30.
who lost their opening game last week. | :13:30. | :13:35.
Where only in our second year of the Premiership. We know that we | :13:35. | :13:38.
don't win any game when we're not playing well so we're going to | :13:38. | :13:42.
concentrate very much on putting in a good performance, backing up one | :13:42. | :13:46.
good performance with another performance, which is key. That's | :13:47. | :13:51.
all we can aim to do. If the wind comes, it will come before we | :13:51. | :13:55.
deserve it. In the Championship, it's the first home game of the | :13:55. | :13:57.
season for Cornish Pirates. They play Doncaster at the Mennaye Field | :13:57. | :14:01.
on Sunday. Plymouth Albion go for back-to-back wins to start their | :14:01. | :14:04.
season at London Welsh. Yeovil Town kick off the weekend's | :14:04. | :14:08.
football tonight at Preston. Exeter City hope a return to the scene of | :14:08. | :14:12.
one of their best results of last season will inspire them. They've | :14:12. | :14:15.
won just one game in seven ahead of the trip to Charlton where they won | :14:15. | :14:19.
in February. In League Two, Rene Howe is the main injury doubt for | :14:19. | :14:25.
Torquay United's game at Northampton. Plymouth Argyle fans | :14:25. | :14:29.
will make a green card protest, calling for action to save the club | :14:29. | :14:32.
before their home game with Port Vale. | :14:32. | :14:34.
The long wait for basketball fans is almost over with Plymouth | :14:34. | :14:37.
Raiders playing their first home game of the new season. They'll | :14:37. | :14:41.
play a USA select team at the Pavilions on Sunday. The warm up | :14:41. | :14:44.
for the NBL season continues in a fortnight with the Raiders hosting | :14:44. | :14:48.
a three team tournament. We'll have the result of Yeovil's | :14:48. | :14:52.
game in our late news and Saturday news and sport tomorrow is at | :14:52. | :15:02.
:15:02. | :15:05. | ||
5.20pm. Back now to Simon on Plymouth Hoe, | :15:05. | :15:14.
looking forward to the start of the America's Cup tomorrow. | :15:14. | :15:20.
We're looking forward to some better weather! 2000 people have | :15:20. | :15:25.
been involved in staging this event, setting up a huge TV operation up | :15:25. | :15:30.
here, this is where the spectators will be. Down at Millbay, that is | :15:30. | :15:33.
where the sailors and the catamarans are, the nerve centre of | :15:34. | :15:38.
the operation. We will be down there later. Up here it is the best | :15:38. | :15:42.
seats in the house and what's more, it is all free. There are plenty of | :15:42. | :15:46.
other places where you can see the action. | :15:46. | :15:50.
The big screen is hugely impressive, ready to relate all the action up | :15:50. | :15:54.
to the Plymouth Hoe but when it comes to watching the racing from | :15:54. | :15:59.
any number of suitable vantage points, Plymouth really is out of | :15:59. | :16:09.
:16:09. | :16:14. | ||
this world. This graphic offers a bird's-eye view of the natural and | :16:14. | :16:18.
the theatre. The first race on Saturday starts after 2pm in the | :16:18. | :16:24.
afternoon. On Sunday it will be later at 2:30pm. As the camera | :16:24. | :16:30.
swings in, the shaded area is the section of the Plymouth Sound | :16:30. | :16:36.
weather catamarans will be racing over nine days. Looking out, this | :16:36. | :16:40.
graphic should give an idea of the racecourse. The exact start and | :16:40. | :16:44.
finish points will only be decided minutes before races begin because | :16:44. | :16:50.
of the weather. If it is the Plymouth Hoe or Mount Batten to the | :16:50. | :16:56.
left, there really are ample places to see the drama unfold. Remember, | :16:56. | :17:06.
:17:06. | :17:10. | ||
it is all totally free. I am joined now by a member of the | :17:10. | :17:13.
media production company. It is miserable appear at the moment but | :17:13. | :17:15.
try and take us through what the atmosphere will be like over the | :17:15. | :17:22.
next eight days. We hope it will build up starting tomorrow. We | :17:22. | :17:25.
don't care about the weather tonight. It is looking quite good | :17:25. | :17:30.
for tomorrow, and we're hoping that this area will be so on occasions | :17:30. | :17:33.
during the next 10 days. This is the grandstand, this is right | :17:33. | :17:40.
behind one of the goals on our football pitch. This is where we | :17:40. | :17:44.
want people to come during the day and then in the evenings, there is | :17:44. | :17:49.
a film is a programme as well. is going to come, just sailing | :17:49. | :17:54.
enthusiasts are when it appeared to a wider audience? The sailing | :17:54. | :17:58.
enthusiasts will actually be out in the water. We really do want people | :17:58. | :18:05.
of all ages to come up here, bring a picnic blanket, spend the | :18:05. | :18:08.
afternoon and going to the evening as well because we're trying to | :18:08. | :18:14.
bring the sport to the public at large, not just ceiling fans. | :18:14. | :18:19.
about transforming the image of the sport, perhaps for a younger | :18:19. | :18:24.
audience? We are largely putting on a show, we're in the Tudor age and | :18:24. | :18:29.
that is where you can watch events live. This is to gain the oldest | :18:29. | :18:32.
trophy in international sport and giving it a brand new look at the | :18:32. | :18:36.
best sellers, the fastest yachts. You are from Plymouth originally, | :18:36. | :18:41.
what is it like to bring this event home? I have got to control the | :18:41. | :18:44.
personal juices there because professionally, I have to look at | :18:44. | :18:48.
all of our 16 World Series events around the world and the Cup itself | :18:48. | :18:53.
but this means a lot. I asked our crew last night, I said, this is | :18:53. | :18:57.
the mother of all ports for me and we must make a mother of all | :18:57. | :19:07.
:19:07. | :19:15. | ||
sailing programmes. Welcome to Millbay, the aquatic | :19:15. | :19:19.
equivalent of the Formula One motor racing pigeons. This is where the | :19:19. | :19:23.
yachts are prepared and it dafter and these are very high tech. Some | :19:23. | :19:33.
:19:33. | :19:37. | ||
We have seen the promotional videos and waited and waited. Now, finally, | :19:37. | :19:42.
the America's Cup is almost here. I volunteered to have a go, not | :19:42. | :19:49.
realising that catamarans can travel up to 35 miles an hour. What | :19:49. | :19:54.
I really cannot get over his how you go from a standstill to going | :19:54. | :19:59.
at this speed. You're having trouble keeping up with us and the | :19:59. | :20:03.
way this thing is tilting, it is absolutely unbelievable! I am | :20:03. | :20:10.
clinging on for dear life here! The organisers of this world series are | :20:10. | :20:14.
aiming for glamour. They have switched to catamarans with cameras | :20:14. | :20:19.
and microphones on board to make you feel that you are there. Team | :20:19. | :20:25.
career kindly invited me on their boat. Their skipper is from Dorset. | :20:25. | :20:31.
In my opinion, it's like racing caravans for years but now we are | :20:31. | :20:35.
ripping across the water at 35 miles an hour. It is a lot of fun | :20:35. | :20:40.
and is very physical. Being out on one of these things can be alarming. | :20:40. | :20:43.
The races have been negotiated around the Navy and ferry company | :20:43. | :20:49.
but that doesn't stop you getting pretty close. I almost dared not | :20:49. | :20:54.
look now! You cannot deny it is a spectacle. There is spray flying | :20:54. | :21:01.
and boats are crashing sometimes. There's just all kinds of action | :21:01. | :21:07.
all the time, it never stops. off again, hold on tight! The | :21:07. | :21:10.
catamaran is fast as you feel as if you are floating above the water. | :21:10. | :21:15.
The boats hum loudly as they glide. Organisers hope that if you are | :21:15. | :21:25.
watching from Plymouth Hoe, mule seemed to feel the same excitement. | :21:25. | :21:28.
It looks really exciting. I am joined now by the principal race | :21:29. | :21:34.
officer for the America's Cup. Talk us through one of these yachts, | :21:34. | :21:40.
what is it all about? The AC 45 are one of the fastest boats in the | :21:40. | :21:45.
world. What we have been able to do with them is to create a platform | :21:45. | :21:53.
that uses the catamaran, 45 ft boat of carbon and the wind sale itself | :21:53. | :22:00.
which presents us with an amazing, efficient way of moving the boats | :22:00. | :22:07.
around on the water. The 40 fives were built to try and get teams | :22:07. | :22:13.
together on the water and get teams going in preparation for the | :22:13. | :22:19.
America's Cup which happens in 2013. How does this fit in with the | :22:19. | :22:24.
America's Cup? Add these races contributing to who never will win? | :22:24. | :22:28.
The races here are not. What they are doing is providing an | :22:28. | :22:33.
opportunity for the team's to train and to start their design plans for | :22:33. | :22:39.
what will ultimately be the A C Sunday to see which will they be | :22:39. | :22:44.
ceiling in savage Cisco in 2013. The design of those bolts, a lot of | :22:44. | :22:49.
the technology and a lot of the testing will come out of this | :22:49. | :22:54.
serious and so, it is really an opportunity to get everybody going | :22:54. | :23:01.
and working towards their designs. The 40 Five's were a one-design | :23:01. | :23:03.
boat and are fairly strictly controlled as to what you can do | :23:03. | :23:10.
with them. 72 will be a box rule, they have to fit in a certain | :23:10. | :23:13.
parameters that there is lots of design opportunities and we will | :23:13. | :23:18.
see those develop out of these boats. Lots of people coming down | :23:18. | :23:23.
to watch this, where do the race's start and what is the best place to | :23:24. | :23:28.
see them? Today we were out on the water, trying to get the courses | :23:28. | :23:34.
sorted out. We're trying to get the race as close to the shore as we | :23:34. | :23:39.
can. That is our goal. We have built a course to do that and | :23:39. | :23:49.
:23:49. | :23:53. | ||
worked on that today. Tomorrow is The weather has been awful today. A | :23:53. | :23:56.
thing for those in Plymouth who are thinking about coming down, don't | :23:56. | :24:01.
be put off with the weather because conditions will improve. It's going | :24:02. | :24:06.
to be windy, we know that, there will be lively winds right through | :24:06. | :24:10.
both Saturday and Sunday. Also some showers, in fact more persistent | :24:10. | :24:13.
rain but once the rain comes through tomorrow morning, it clears | :24:13. | :24:17.
out all of this low cloud and mist so if you're coming for the 2pm | :24:17. | :24:22.
start, conditions will hopefully improve by then. There's the | :24:22. | :24:26.
Atlantic satellite picture, you can see the cloud that has out to the | :24:26. | :24:31.
west of Ireland, that is that no pressure, the driving force for the | :24:31. | :24:34.
win that will happen this weekend. Here is the chart for this evening. | :24:34. | :24:41.
By lunchtime the savings, it will clear all of this list and low | :24:42. | :24:45.
cloud and hopefully improve the visibility and give a good few of | :24:45. | :24:51.
the yachts racing. By lunchtime on Sunday, we have no pressure is | :24:51. | :24:57.
still close by. Some heavy rain with the risk of under. It could | :24:57. | :25:02.
give us some widely gusts of wind. The day we are watching is Monday. | :25:02. | :25:07.
The remnants of an old tropical storm arriving to the north of | :25:07. | :25:11.
Scotland which will increase the strength of wind and Monday could | :25:11. | :25:16.
be a very windy day. We're a long way away from the centre of the | :25:16. | :25:21.
will for the strength of that went on Monday. Somewhere buried beneath | :25:21. | :25:25.
all that cloud is the United Kingdom. The drizzle continued for | :25:25. | :25:28.
this evening so the savings forecast is one of a damp evening, | :25:28. | :25:32.
the damp night, and usually mild air across us as well that | :25:32. | :25:37.
overnight temperatures probably dipping no lower than 16 degrees. | :25:37. | :25:41.
Very wet, very mild and very murky and misty, particularly here along | :25:41. | :25:45.
the south coast as well. Tomorrow morning, we have that rain coming | :25:45. | :25:49.
in, that is the cold weather front. That will introduce fresher | :25:49. | :25:53.
conditions so after a wet morning, as it clears through, it should | :25:53. | :25:58.
brighten up and we will see some sunshine. Brisk, south westerly | :25:58. | :26:01.
winds so really good sailing conditions and a top temperature | :26:01. | :26:08.
tomorrow at 17 degrees. For the as a silly, we can expect some showery | :26:08. | :26:18.
:26:18. | :26:52. | ||
rain early in the day, but will The outlook for the rest of the | :26:52. | :26:58.
weekend, and mentioned the wings, they are going to be strong, | :26:58. | :27:04.
possibly to gale-force at times. Plenty of showers around on Sunday. | :27:04. | :27:09.
Monday, we have a yellow triangle there, that is a warning from the | :27:09. | :27:14.
Met Office have the potential for some lively gusts of wind, possibly | :27:14. | :27:24.
:27:24. | :27:28. | ||
We have heard a lot about hopes tonight, hopes of transforming | :27:28. | :27:32.
ceiling, transforming Plymouth, transforming our local economy. We | :27:32. | :27:36. |
