Good afternoon. A police investigation is under way after a

body was found by a member of the public in Liskeard. It was

discovered yesterday afternoon at around 3pm on Lake Lane. The body is

yet to be identified and the death is being treated as unexplained. A

postmortem examination is being carried out today and efforts are

continuing to find next of kin. A body has been recovered from the

River Exe in the centre of Exeter. Devon and Cornwall Police say they

were called to the scene just after ten o'clock this morning.

Investigations are under way. Specialist nurses are taking part in

a new police scheme to support officers dealing with people who

have mental health issues. The year`long pilot called Street Triage

is a night`time service. Specialist nurses are based in control rooms to

give advice direct to officers on patrol. If officers are called out

to an incident, nurses can go along to provide on`the`spot advice. If

there were concerns because a person was missing, we might be able to go

into our clinical system and find information relevant to that person

and where they may be at that time. Energy bills in the south west

should be ?15 a year lower after a tax on burning carbon was frozen in

this week's Budget. George Osborne insists the Government's commitment

to support green energy remains unchanged, but some say the move is

another nail in the coffin for the renewable energy industry.

It is a bad message for investors because the long`term framework was

robust, supposedly, and George Osborne has changed it at the first

sign of trouble so that does not give a message that low`carbon

energy is good value for money. And there's more on that story in

The final resting place of the last King of Cornwall, or parts of a

Saxon Church? That's what archaeologists are hoping to find

beneath the surface at St Germans Priory in south east Cornwall.

They've been using ground penetrating radar to investigate the

ancient site. We may possibly even find a tomb or

two beneath the floor after the revelations of Richard III. Who

knows? We may find the remains of the last King of Cornwall. Nobody

knows where he is buried. There are big games today for all

our football clubs. In the Championship, Yeovil are back at

Huish Park against Bolton Wanderers and in League Two, Exeter City are

chasing a first home win since October. Bottom of the league

Torquay United are looking for back`to`back wins when they

entertain Newport County at Plainmoor. At the other end of the

table, Plymouth Argyle's midweek win moved them into a play`off place and

they continue their promotion push with a trip to Accrington Stanley.

Good afternoon. A weekend of sunshine and showers, some heavy

showers at times for the Isles of Scilly. Some showers could be wintry

over the tops of the Moors perhaps. Temperatures are below average for

this time of year. Showers rambling by this evening and you will want to

watch out for a touch of Rowell frost tomorrow morning and icy

patches. The focus of the showers will change tomorrow morning so we

will see a drier day with more in the way of sunshine. We are still in
