:00:37.:00:41.

daughter was hanging out of the window and saw the smoke. I came

:00:42.:00:45.

running out. Obviously, it was just disbelief. I have never seen smoke

:00:46.:00:50.

like it. It was horrendous. The police say a man in his early 4 s

:01:00.:01:02.

of the house next door but luckily the neighbours were out. We had a

:01:03.:01:08.

phone call, we were in London, wait for the weekend, just to sax to come

:01:09.:01:13.

back, next or was on fire. What do you know of next door? A nice

:01:14.:01:18.

family. He is pretty quiet, father of four. They keep themselvds to

:01:19.:01:26.

themselves. Fire crews from all over the region fought the flames at the

:01:27.:01:36.

scene. The property is said to be 100% damaged by smoke and fhre.

:01:37.:01:40.

:02:07.:02:12.

Sailing now and it was touch and go as to whether the

:02:13.:02:15.

Solitaire Du Figaro fleet would leave Plymouth waters last night due

:02:16.:02:18.

But with minutes to go until darkness fell,

:02:19.:02:21.

Falmouth's Sam Goodchild is currently leading the British team

:02:22.:02:24.

The first British stopover for 1 years but the departure was not one

:02:25.:02:41.

which went exactly to plan. The fleet left the harbour late

:02:42.:02:45.

afternoon ready to start leg two of the race but hours later, they were

:02:46.:02:48.

still waiting for the wind to pick up. Finally, as the sunset, the on

:02:49.:02:57.

standard. `` the sounding horn sounded. The French on`board to me

:02:58.:03:05.

they think this has never h`ppened before. But a race has started so

:03:06.:03:09.

close to it being sunset. They were going to go through a quick course

:03:10.:03:15.

and then onto Land's End. That is obviously not happening any more

:03:16.:03:20.

because of the fading light. The feet are now saving 535 milds. It is

:03:21.:03:28.

the first time this local s`ilor has completed. Hopes are high that he

:03:29.:03:31.

will get a podium position `fter coming into Plymouth 12 on the first

:03:32.:03:37.

leg. I was not expecting to do as well as I did. I just want to do the

:03:38.:03:43.

same, do what I know best. Ht is the fourth time Falmouth is Sar`h

:03:44.:03:52.

Goodchild has taken part on this `` in this race. To bring everxone back

:03:53.:04:03.

from France to Plymouth and show what Plymouth can we providd as far

:04:04.:04:08.

as the Solitaire Du Figaro `nd how there is so much support. Hopefully

:04:09.:04:12.

it will not be the last. Thd fleet will sail over 2000 miles.

:04:13.:04:19.

And finally bicycles from a bygone era took to the roads

:04:20.:04:22.

and cycleways of east Devon today in the fifth Vintage Velo event

:04:23.:04:24.

The ride got underway in Exlouth and took cyclists on a choice

:04:25.:04:27.

Many dressed the part ` riding pedal powered machinds dating

:04:28.:04:32.

As well being enjoyable the event was also raising money for the brain

:04:33.:04:36.

We are trying to step back hn time a little bit. What we are tryhng to do

:04:37.:04:50.

is... Cycling is incredibly powerful, so is the vintage

:04:51.:04:53.

movement. We are combining the two. Have a really good social.

:04:54.:05:00.
