A 35-year-old man is being held on suspicion of murder

after the discovery of a man's body in Plymouth.

He was discovered yesterday at a flat in union Street. Police say he

has not yet been formally identified. Anyone with information

is asked to contact police. Meanwhile, police in Plymouth

are also appealing for witnesses after a car flipped onto its roof

and crashed into a wall. The red Peugeot rolled

over in Beechwood Avenue Police said a 40-year-old man

was arrested on suspicion The mother of a teenager whose body

was recovered from the sea off Dorset earlier this year is now

working with other young people to encourage them to stay safe

on nights out at the coast. Louis Harris was 18 when he went

missing in Weymouth in the early Here's our Dorset

reporter Simon Clemison. Louis Harris was a teenager out

for a night in a seaside resort. The search for him

went on for weeks. He was last seen here

in the early hours. He had been at university and had

come back to celebrate Eventually, his body was pulled

from the sea nearby. Events leading up to his death

are still not clear. But his mother has started working

with pupils at his old school, She is hoping to talk to many

young people so that when they are old enough to go out

drinking, or even before, they take steps to protect

themselves by charging up their mobile phones and not

getting separated from each other. We need to be realistic

and practical and not tell people not to drink and accept

that they will do, but given So that they can make choices

and understand what the risks are. Do you think everyone

leaves together? No.

off doing their own thing and hanging out with different

friends and then, you know, three hours into the party,

people have left and you are like, Most drink things

for teenagers it's... It seems quite patronising,

hope to rural churches Some have been forced to close,

whilst others are looking to secure their futures

as community assets. Janine Jansen has been looking

at what the future holds for some St Pinnock's Church in Cornwall

closed just last month. Local parishioners had fought for 25

years to try to keep it open. Starting next year, we are launching

a whole project called And we're putting money and people

to actually help in some of our beleaguered

rural communities. Some villages have seen

their schools and pubs close. So, for many, the only community

place left is the church. The Methodist Church

here in Ashburton closed last year. But it has just been designated

a community asset and this man wants People come into buildings

and you get an instant feel for whether it's a friendly

and pleasant place to be. It has obviously been loved

for many, many decades and it In rugby, for the second successive

week the Cornish Pirates have lost out to London Irish in the British

and Irish Cup. They went down by just a single

point at the Mennaye Field. There was quite a sight to be seen

on Weymouth beach today as hundreds of runners donned Santa suits

to chase a "Christmas pudding", an "elf" and a pantomime

dame along the sands! The festive fundraiser -

which is growing in popularity every year -

was supporting a charity which helps local children take up

swimming and watersports. The Santas ran three miles

or so from the Weymouth Pavilion end of the beach to the groyne

at Greenhill and back again. We didn't think there

were going to be so many people because it's such dull weather

but we must have in excess of 250 And then we got at least 20

youngsters doing chase the elf, a new race and we have introduced this

year. It is spectacular and look so spectacular against the backdrop --

colourful against the backdrop of the grey skies.

Some of us have had some sunshine today.

We have also had stubborn mist and fog patches.

They are thickening again this evening.

We have a fog warning in force, for East Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

And some of this fog could be quite thick at times.

It is not just the warning area that is at risk.

Elsewhere, we could see some fog forming.

A couple of drizzly showers perhaps and maybe a patchy frost

although temperatures typically staying above freezing.

Some poor visibility tomorrow. That will tend to lift and break.

A few showers for the South West and outbreaks of rain

A few bright spells possible but generally fairly cloudy

Patchy rain and drizzle and becoming more unsettled by midweek.

but it did not feel that way in north-east Scotland today with

temperatures as high as 13 Celsius in Aberdeenshire. This is one

You could see some dense fog patches developing tonight and into tomorrow

morning. Southeast Wells, the Midlands and southern England are

most at risk of that. They're out Brexit rain for Scotland later in

the night. You could have a touch of frost in the morning -- outbreaks of

rain for Scotland later. If you start frosty conditions will be
