Hi guys - Martin here telling you about the fishtank with a difference

:00:07.:00:12.

and how to make paper out of poo. It's Newsround.

:00:13.3:51:54

and how to make paper out of poo. But first to exciting news about the

3:51:553:51:54

possibility of the UK one day having its very own spaceport. The

3:51:553:51:54

Government has backed the idea as part of plans to increase the

3:51:553:51:54

British space business. Ayshah's been finding out more.

3:51:553:51:54

The UK space industry is growing with the Government serious about

3:51:553:51:54

getting more big projects based here. One idea is the possibility of

3:51:553:51:54

a spaceport right on our doorstep. A spaceport is where we launch

3:51:553:51:54

spacecraft. We might do that with rockets. Even more excitingly we

3:51:553:51:54

might do it in the future with space planes which would take off like

3:51:553:51:54

aircraft. We've never had anything like this in the UK before so it's

3:51:553:51:54

tremendously exciting. The world's first commercial

3:51:553:51:54

spaceport officially opened in the US state of New Mexico in 2011 -

3:51:553:51:54

with the aim of eventually taking ordinary people, albeit very rich

3:51:553:51:54

ones, up into space. It cost more than ?120 million

3:51:553:51:54

pounds to build, so creating one isn't easy.

3:51:553:51:54

Well if you're launching space planes you need some really long

3:51:553:51:54

runways so it'd look a little bit like an airport. You'd need the

3:51:553:51:54

buildings to service the planes in. If you're launching ordinary rockets

3:51:553:51:54

you'd need launch gantries much as you have in Cape Canaveral or in

3:51:553:51:54

Kazakhstan where the Russians launch.

3:51:553:51:54

So with that in mind where could we put one in the UK?

3:51:553:51:54

Well if we're launching space planes and space rockets we need to launch

3:51:553:51:54

them well away from populated areas so we need to think about the more

3:51:553:51:54

remote areas of the UK. The North of Scotland is one of the

3:51:553:51:54

areas being considered as a spaceport base.

3:51:553:51:54

If it does go ahead, then a UK spaceport could happen as soon as

3:51:553:51:54

2018. Next, to the paper that's made of

3:51:553:51:54

elephant poo. Keepers at a safari park in

3:51:553:51:54

Indonesia have come up with an interesting way of recycling the 2.5

3:51:553:51:54

tonnes of dung that the elephants produce every day. The dung's washed

3:51:553:51:54

and boiled to kill all the germs and get rid of the smell, then it's

3:51:553:51:54

added to waste paper and blended into sheets.

3:51:553:51:54

The makers say it's eco-friendly and reminds people about elephant

3:51:553:51:54

conservation and it's proving to be a hit with shoppers.

3:51:553:51:54

Next - doing the dishes or tidying your room is the last thing you want

3:51:553:51:54

to be doing after school. Right? Well the Spanish government want to

3:51:553:51:54

bring in guidelines that say all young people should help out round

3:51:553:51:54

the house. And you've been telling us what you think.

3:51:553:51:54

Craig says, "We should be allowed to enjoy being kids and not have to

3:51:553:51:54

worry about work till we're at least teenagers."

3:51:553:51:54

But Erin's told us "Children should do chores because it helps your

3:51:553:51:54

parents." And finally, take a look at this

3:51:553:51:54

smart tank that's driven by a fish. It's on wheels and got an in-built

3:51:553:51:54

camera that detects the fish's movements and makes it travel
