A big meeting's been taking place there to talk about the problem	:03:40.	:03:42.
of poaching - thousands of elephants are illegally hunted	:03:43.	:03:44.
Kenya wants to show it's doing something about it,	:03:45.	:03:47.
although some people think it could make the problem worse.	:03:48.	:03:50.
The BBC's Anne Soy sent this report for Newsround.	:03:51.	:03:58.
The big fire behind me is ivory burning. Ivory is tusks from	:03:59.	:04:06.
elephants. Every elephant has two tusks but there are people who like	:04:07.	:04:10.
to kill them so they can get these tusks and transport them all the way	:04:11.	:04:14.
to Asia where they are very valuable because they are used to make	:04:15.	:04:19.
statues and jewellery. Then Kenya is trying to tell the world that it is	:04:20.	:04:23.
not good to kill elephants. It is more important to keep them alive	:04:24.	:04:27.
because people can come into the country, and go to the parkings and	:04:28.	:04:32.
see them. -- parks. So they have come to burn the ivory so they can	:04:33.	:04:36.
tell the poach evers that we are very serious, we are coming after	:04:37.	:04:41.
you and we will arrest you if you continue killing the elephants. They	:04:42.	:04:45.
think that if nothing is done to stop the poach ever, then in about	:04:46.	:04:49.
ten years, there will not be any elephants left in Africa, and so it	:04:50.	:04:54.
is very important, for them to stop the poachers.	:04:55.	:04:57.
