Good morning, everyone. Ricky here with Thursday's Newsround, and it's | :00:00. | :00:09.
a cracker. Coming up: Jose Mourinho had this to say about last night's | :00:10. | :00:17.
Chelsea performance. It was a joke. And I only had to | :00:18. | :00:25.
find out about the Royal Navy's rolled in World War I. -- I am here. | :00:26. | :00:36.
Yesterday we told you about the high levels of air pollution across the | :00:37. | :00:39.
UK. Well, today the government has issued another alert warning of more | :00:40. | :00:42.
high levels of pollution. London and parts of Eastern England have | :00:43. | :00:45.
already reached a high level of air pollution, but the problem is | :00:46. | :00:48.
expected to clear over the next couple of days. | :00:49. | :00:57.
Today sees two brand new major exhibits open at the Royal Navy's | :00:58. | :01:00.
National Museum in Portsmouth. They include the huge gun that fired the | :01:01. | :01:04.
first British shot of World War One on fifth August, 1914. In the Great | :01:05. | :01:08.
War over 43,000 from the Royal Navy died at sea. Ayshah's at the museum | :01:09. | :01:15.
for us this morning. Yes, I am inside Portsmouth's | :01:16. | :01:21.
historic dockyard. Behind me, there is a ship that was used in World War | :01:22. | :01:25.
I. I have come here to the National Museum of the Royal Navy. This year | :01:26. | :01:30.
is 100 years since the start of World War I. They have had some | :01:31. | :01:35.
special displays here. So, there are over 500 and some of them have never | :01:36. | :01:38.
been seen by the public before. I took a sneaky peak. | :01:39. | :01:47.
We have got some fantastic things, large and small. This is the gun | :01:48. | :01:54.
which fired the first shot by the British at the start of the First | :01:55. | :01:59.
World War. Then, as a contrast we have got some grisly items on the | :02:00. | :02:03.
small side. We have got little bits of ships' rivets, which were removed | :02:04. | :02:12.
from somebody who was wounded. We have got surgeons' items. People | :02:13. | :02:19.
think about the trenches, which were desperate. But the Navy was very | :02:20. | :02:25.
big. It had a big role, to control the North Sea. It had to control the | :02:26. | :02:30.
sea between Britain and Germany and stop the German ships getting out. | :02:31. | :02:35.
As we have just heard, the Navy had a very special role. I will be back | :02:36. | :02:42.
at 8.15, with Matthew, who you saw in that report. We will also be | :02:43. | :02:47.
hearing some special stories about 14 Yarwood who was a sailor at the | :02:48. | :03:00.
time. -- a 14-year-old. Yesterday some of you told us that | :03:01. | :03:03.
you think politicians should be better role models. It comes after | :03:04. | :03:06.
the Prime Minister David Cameron and the Leader of the Opposition Ed | :03:07. | :03:09.
Miliband traded insults in Parliament during Prime Minister's | :03:10. | :03:12.
Questions. First, Ed Miliband called Mr Cameron a dunce, which means | :03:13. | :03:14.
stupid. Then the Prime Minister called the leader of the Labour | :03:15. | :03:17.
Party a muppet. While some of you said this kind of | :03:18. | :03:20.
behaviour was not acceptable, it isn't first time politicians have | :03:21. | :03:25.
called each other names. Every week, the Prime Minister comes | :03:26. | :03:29.
here to Parliament to answer questions from politicians. Often it | :03:30. | :03:34.
can be very rowdy and noisy. Today was no exception. Some people say | :03:35. | :03:37.
politicians should grow up and stop behaving like they are still in the | :03:38. | :03:42.
playground. Others say it is fun and important that our leaders can be | :03:43. | :03:46.
insulted. There was a reference to the Muppets today in the House of | :03:47. | :03:49.
Commons will stop that has happened today. In the 1970s, the then Prime | :03:50. | :03:54.
Minister was compared to Kermit the frog. One of his ministers was | :03:55. | :03:59.
compared to Fozzie the bear. We want to know what you think of | :04:00. | :04:03.
this. Phil says it's childish and that he's shocked that two grown men | :04:04. | :04:06.
are calling each other names. Jessica says that name-calling might | :04:07. | :04:09.
be hurtful. Tell us what you think over on the website. | :04:10. | :04:12.
Chelsea have their work cut out if they want to remain in the Champions | :04:13. | :04:16.
League after losing 3-1 in the first leg of their quarter final against | :04:17. | :04:19.
Paris St Germain. The French side went 1-0 up after just four minutes, | :04:20. | :04:23.
and this goal in injury time by Havier Pastoray secured their | :04:24. | :04:26.
victory. Eden Hazard did score a precious away goal for Chelsea, who | :04:27. | :04:29.
now have their work cut out in the return leg next Tuesday. And it's | :04:30. | :04:33.
fair to say the Chelsea manager wasn't too happy with the | :04:34. | :04:36.
performance. The game was out of control. We could have got a | :04:37. | :04:44.
fantastic result for the second half. We did not score. After that, | :04:45. | :04:51.
we got an own goal. And then the third goal... It was a joke. | :04:52. | :04:58.
That's all from me. Newsround's back right here in about half an hour. | :04:59. | :05:00. |
