The fairytale comes true for Leicester City as they top

And we take a look at how they got there.

There's one story that everyone's talking about this morning -

Leicester City are Premier League champions.

Last night their rivals for the top spot, Tottenham, played Chelsea.

They needed to win to stay in the running, and everything

looked to be going well until Chelsea came back from 2-0

down to end Spurs' dreams of a title win and hand Leicester the crown.

Jenny's been taking a look at the reaction.

Earlier, they'd all watched nervously as Tottenham tried

to keep their title hopes alive, but Chelsea's late equaliser

completed one of the most remarkable stories in Premier League history.

Barely a year ago, they were bottom of the league.

I got a bit emotional at the end of the game,

It was quite hard to breathe the last few minutes, to be honest.

But I've followed them since I was a little kid,

I was a season ticket holder since I was seven years old.

A night they and indeed football will never forget.

So that's how things looked last night.

This morning it's a bit quieter at Leicester's King Power Stadium,

but fans are still celebrating and the BBC's Fiona Lamdin is there.

Well, the clean-up operation is well under way after

As you can see, some fans haven't even been to bed yet.

Last night, thousands came here after the game.

You couldn't move, there were so many people.

I met one family who had got their children out of bed,

they were in their dressing gowns and pyjamas, they had come down just

Thousands of people celebrating one of the city's greatest moments ever,

because this is now Leicester's very own theatre of dreams.

Well, Leicester's rise to the top has been called one

of the greatest achievements in English sporting history.

I've been taking a look back at their season

Leicester City are in the Premier League for

But after a string of losses, by Christmas 2014, they're

bottom of the table, and by March 2015, relegation looms.

Until four unexpected wins in April secures survival.

Which brings us to the summer of 2015.

Fans are shocked as manager Nigel Pearson is sacked,

and Claudio Ranieri is hired to take his spot.

The 2015/16 season kicks off in August, and Ranieri's team

They're unbeaten for the whole first month.

Striker Jamie Vardy steals the show in November.

He breaks league records by scoring in 11 games in a row.

And it's a Merry Christmas day 2015 for Foxes fans,

with their team at the top of the league having been bottom

2016, the year that Leicester's fairy tale starts to look like it

By April, Leicester have qualified for the Champions League

for the first time, and only Tottenham offer a real challenge

But on May the 2nd, Spurs lose their grip on the title
