Good morning and welcome to your Friday Newsround with me, Hayley.

We're going out of this world today...

How did the first stars and galaxies form and are we the only ones living

These are both questions the world's biggest radio telescope,

The Square Kilometre Array will be made up of thousands of dishes

and up to a million antennia scattered across deserts

but how on Earth do you control one of them?

This is where you operate the telescopes? This is it. Is it like

driving a telescope? What we use is instructions. What would I need to

do to move a telescope? We enter the instructions on a computer. And

those instructions tell us exactly where the telescope should be

pointed and what to look at. By using those instructions. If I

wanted to move the telescope and the thing specific, what do I need to

do? You need a schedule. This is a block of code with instructions to

command the telescopes. You put the instructions in here and you can

show locks of code here. That is really, coated. -- really difficult.

And you have your buttons here, and you just rest play, that means OK,

start observing. Start running. Can I have a go? I really want to have a

go. Go for it. What do I need to press. Control, shift, V, enter. I

just told a telescope what to do. Do you think I could be a good

telescope operator? I got what it takes? Yes. All right. I have a new

job. Brilliant! University is a place where people

go to study subjects they enjoy and many people hope they will find a

better job at the end of it but did you know far more girls go to

university than boys? A survey released today shows that I the age

of 13 many more girls think university is a good idea. We have

been finding out from you what you think. Girls in school nowadays work

harder than boys, generally. If you do not go to university, your job,

there are limitations. There is only a certain job you can do without a

degree. Some girls go to university, because it depends what they want in

future. I want to be in college and play football. If I had to go to

college to get my job, I will go there. We are supported to go to

university at school because they put the idea in your mind it will

give you a better job in life. My teachers support me to go to

university because they are telling me to excel in my learning and get a

better career path. Thanks for those comments, though -- they were great.

The world's most visited museum, the Louvre in Paris,

has been closed today because of flooding.

Staff have been busy moving all the priceless works of art

in the museum to protect them from the flood waters.

Heavy rains across Europe have caused flooding

in France and Germany, and at least 10 people have died.

Sport news now and The England football team enjoyed a third

victory in a series of friendly games ahead of the Euros last night.

Opponents Portugal had a man sent off in the first half after this

high tackle, but England didn't manage to score until the last

minutes of the game, when Chris Smalling's header took

England's first game of the tournament is a week

Team GB long jump star Greg Rutherford had a good

He jumped as far as he did at London 2012 to win

He leapt eight metres and 31 to take victory,

and a great result just weeks before he travels to Brazil

Finally, take a look at this tiny panda cub born in a Belgium zoo.

Mum How-How is protecting him by carrying him in her mouth.

There are fewer than 2,000 giant pandas left in the world,

and this guy's the 3rd to be born in Europe this year.

Although he's a giant panda, he's pretty tiny at the moment,

weighing just 171 grams, that's about the same
