Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck and Mrs Tiggywinkle -

author Beatrix Potter created some of the best-loved characters.

But there was one that never made it onto bookshelves, until now.

The Tale of Kitty in Books was written more than 100 years ago,

It's now been published for the first time,

and Quentin Blake has illustrated the story.

It is the most extraordinary thing, because I have

always been an admirer of Beatrix Potter.

If you're interested in illustration at all, you are.

But that there should be this other story is extraordinary.

There are two characters, Mrs Tiggywinkle, the hedgehog who does

the laundry, and Mr Tod, who is that very sinister fox.

I copied them from Beatrix's drawings!

There is no very developed picture of the cat who is the heroine of it.

It's as though I could invent her without worrying about too

much about what Beatrix would think about it.

She decides she's not going to go poaching any longer because it

doesn't work and she throws the gun away.

And she throws away this Norfolk jacket.

And then she goes back to having tea with other respectable cats.

But she still goes on catching rats and mice in the yard.

It was so nice to draw a picture of her in a long dress,

And the fight to be Strictly champ officially kicked off last night.

The 15 celebs were paired up with their professional partners,

before showing off their moves in a group dance.

The stars now have three weeks to practise before
