Hello, everyone. Leah here with your Bank Holiday headlines - on today's

show... Why some people are worried that

Brazil's World Cup might be too hot to handle.

And something to cheer up your Monday afternoon - seriously cute

tiger cubs! This is Newsround. But first, the world of tennis has

been paying tribute to the former British number one, Elena Baltacha,

who has died of liver cancer, aged 30. I've been looking at why she was

so important to the women's game. Known to her friends and team-mates

as Bally, she was known as a fighter on and off the court. Enter thousand

and two she became one of their brightest stars of British tennis

but a year later she was diagnosed with a serious liver condition. She

became an invitation for the likes of Heather Watson and Laura Robson.

As an athlete, she will be remembered as a fighter. You could

see her on the court fist pumping every point. She wore her heart on

her sleeve. The world of tennis has been paying tribute today.

Elena Baltacha completed a lifetime ambition by playing in their Olympic

Games but she was forced to retire last year at the age of 30. She will

be remembered for her courage and fighting spirit right up until the

end. Next month all eyes will turn to

Brazil when the best footballers on the planet do battle in the World

Cup. But the hot South American climate - combined with the the

timing of some kick-offs - could be a problem. Ayshah has the story. The

World Cup is the biggest sporting event on the planet and this summer

it is Brazil's town to host that. Matches are being played at 12

stadiums across the country. Brazil has eight hotter climate than us and

in the north and west of the country it is particularly hot and humid.

Temperatures are regularly above 30 degrees. With some matches due to

kick off in the hottest part of the day some people are concerned it

will be too much for the players. Football matches are not usually

played at those times in those areas. So why are matches being

played so early? The most imported TV audience is in Europe so there

will be three separate kick-off times. All will be convenient for

the European audience. The only way to do that is to start early. You

would never have a big local game kicking off at this time here, it is

just too hot. The coaches already I talked to say it is not humane.

Players will be allowed to drink more water but even so, it will be

very hot. It looks like teams will just have to suffer the pressure of

heat during the tour on it. Next, to plans to make the six-week

summer school holiday shorter. Head-teachers at schools in England

are considering spreading the long summer break more evenly through the

year. They say a shorter summer break could stop teachers getting

too tired and could help families struggling with expensive summer

holiday prices. So what do you reckon? They should keep that this

same thing because it gives you more flexibility to go on holiday. I like

spending time on holiday. School holidays are too long because you

get bored. It is better to get lots of smaller holidays so you don't

forget everything and you can be with your friends will stop Last up,

to some seriously cute cubs! These are very rare white Bengal

tiger cubs, born in a zoo in Ukraine. There are three boys and

one girl, and their keepers at the zoo say they're very happy because

seeing four healthy cubs born is pretty unusual. Super cute.
