Hi, guys, Leah here, live with the latest on the set free

soldier and the toys on tour on your last Newsround of the night.

First - a welcome home party for US Soldier Bowe Bergdahl has been

cancelled today.

He was set free at the weekend after five years as a prisoner

in Afghanistan.

But some ex-army members have since claimed he was captured by hardline

Islamic group the Taliban only after he went missing without permission.

That's something that carries serious punishment

and the US army's looking into it.

Sergeant Bergdahl's currently recovering in a German hospital.

Next - survivors of one of the fiercest battles of World War

II have met Prince Charles today.

It was part of several days of celebrations to mark the 70th

anniversary of D-Day - when thousands of troops started a major

fight back in France that eventually led to the defeat of Nazi Germany.

Ceremonies are taking place on both side of the Channel tomorrow

and Nel will have two special reports from France tomorrow.

Next to the freak June weather that's

produced giant hailstones, tornadoes and even blown over lorries.

It's battered parts of America but amazingly hasn't caused any

serious injuries.

Here's Ricky with more.

This driver in the US state of Nebraska struggled behind

the wheel, as their car was battered by hailstones - leaving their

windscreen completely destroyed.

Some of the hailstones that fell were the size of tennis balls!

The outside of these houses were badly damaged by hail.

The storms forced some people to hide in their basements.

It came through like a freight train.

It sounded like the world was coming to an end, almost.

But it wasn't just hail causing chaos - there were powerful winds

of up to 90 miles per hour.

There were even a number of tornadoes

like this one caught on camera.

You can see a number of large trees were taken out by this storm.

Trees were blown over, as was this lorry.

This is just an idea of how strong these winds are and

how much damage they're causing.

And this video from neighbouring state, Iowa,

appeared to show a petrol station roof being ripped off.

Heavy rain also brought sudden flooding, and some people

needed rescuing by lifeboats.

The storms are now moving eastwards across the US but forecasters say

things shouldn't be as bad.

Finally - the chance for your favourite soft

toys to go on holiday on their own.

A Japanese company's started taking teddies on tours.

They take videos of your ted at famous landmarks and upload them

online for you to see at home.

So far they've taken more than 400 toys on adventures.
