Good morning, this is Newsround with you live on CBBC.

Coming up this Monday: The dogs dressing up for Rio's carnival.

And loads of superstars take to the stage for the Super Bowl.

First, though, Storm Imogen has battered large parts of southern

England with powerful winds and heavy rain.

There have been raging rivers, flooded fields and some people have

We've had gusts here close to 80 mph and the Met Office is warning

of high seas, phenomenally high seas here on the North Cornwall coast

and there are warnings from Network Rail that rail services

Next, kids in western Australia are going back to school

after bushfires struck their communities.

We've been hearing from Kane, who explained what happened

Hi, my name's Kane and this is a pretty exciting day

We're getting these cool packs and so are hundreds of other kids

around here, and we're getting it for free.

It's kind of a back-to-school boost for all of us kids because for a lot

of people here things haven't been so great over the summer.

A few months ago, a bushfire broke out in Pinery,

South Australia, which is really close to Hamley Bridge,

When the fire started, me and my friend were looking

When my mum picked us up from school, me and my brother

and sister were scared when the smoke came over.

We hopped in the car and Mum took us to the Balaclava Recovery Centre.

The fire burned 87 homes and around 300 farmsteads.

But our area wasn't the only area to be hit by a big

Over in Western Australia, the town of Yarloop was hit

Luckily, my school wasn't badly damaged in the fire so now we can go

And these packs will really help, especially for those kids

I've got snacks, a pencil case, a lunchbox and a watch.

Things might not be completely back to normal for me or my friends,

but we're staying positive and looking for a better future.

The competition in America features the best teams

The Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers in the final.

Well, a shortlist for the Laugh Out Loud Book Awards -

a brand new prize for hilarious children's books -

So we wanted to know what books make you giggle.

It made me laugh because of the way the granny was very odd and how

The jokes are really funny and it's never been copied by someone,

and the pictures are really detailed and very funny.

Horrible Histories, Vicious Vikings is by Terry Deary.

What happens is it adds a bit of humour to it,

which makes it much more interesting to read.

The illustrations in the book itself are really funny.

James And The Giant Peach by Roald Dahl.

The way Roald Dahl describes them, when he adds speech,

the way they say it and how they say it.

Now look at this mess, and don't try this at home!

Over 4,000 people threw 500,000 kilograms of damaged oranges

at an historical carnival in Ivrea in Italy.

The event dates back to medieval times, but no-one was hurt!

But people were a bit bitter! Get it?
