Good morning, I'm Hayley with Tuesday's Newsround for you.

We've got lots for you including...

The eagles helping the police to catch drones.

And the twin seals making history.

Today is International Women's Day.

A global day celebrating the achievements of women and girls

in lots of different fields, from politics to sports

and everything in between.

It is also a day which aims to promote equality,

which means that women and girls are equal to men and boys.

So, to mark International Women's Day we've had a closer look

at a handful of inspirational women who are working

to make a difference.

Women and girls are equal to men and boys and as such should

be treated equally.

That's the message on International Women's Day.

That's what Malala Yousafzai believes too.

The fearless schoolgirl demanded that girls be allowed

to receive an education.

It is something that wasn't happening in the area of Pakistan

where she lived.

Malala was badly hurt for standing up for her beliefs.

She survived her attack and is now spreading her message about girls

and children getting equal rights to education all over the world.

She's an inspiration!

One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can

change the world.

Everyone knows Hermione Granger from Harry Potter.

Hermione is a character that lots of girls look up

to because she's sassy, strong and smart.

The actress who plays her, Emma Watson, is pretty cool too.

Recently she announced that she's taking a year away from acting

to learn more about issues which affect women and girls,

including persuading more men to get involved in the fight

for equal rights.

Good luck, Emma.

All I know is that I care about this problem and I want

to make it better.

Finally, there are lots of super successful sporting girls

who inspire us.

Olympic gold medal winners like Jessica Ennis-Hill

and Victoria Pendleton have encouraged lots of us girls to get

more involved in sport.

We have to be confident, we have to go in to each game

thinking we can win.

Successful footballers, like England captain Steph Houghton,

have inspired girls to practice their dribbling skills by getting

in to football, to prove that they are just as good

as the boys.

Hopefully, these wonderful women will inspire you too.

To tennis now and one of the biggest names in the sport Maria Sharapova

has admitted that she failed a drugs test at the Australian Open in

January.

The former world number one said that she had been taking

the medication for her health reasons.

The drug called meldonium was added to the banned list in January.

She's been suspended from the sport starting from Saturday.

I've made a huge mistake, and I, I've let my fans down,

I've let the sport down that I've been playing since the age of four,

that I love so deeply.

Next up, drones are a popular piece of tech but they're also being used

by criminals.

But police in the Netherlands have got a novel

idea to try and tackle the problem.

They're training eagles to take the drones down.

Its instinct is to catch the prey.

It is not interested in people, it is not

interested in other animals.

It's interested only in catching the drone.

And also they are able to land the drone safely on the ground

and that is where we want it.

Meet R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Two little seal pups who are the first of their kind

in the world.

The two seal pups were born twins,

so both from the same mum at the same time.

It was thought that grey seals couldn't have twin babies but these

fellas, being looked after in a sanctuary in Norfolk,

have proved all the scientists wrong.

We contacted various institutions in the country,

and it was absolutely impossible, twin seals could never

be born to a grey seal.

So I sent their details up to Norway, and Norway

have come back with this wonderful news that they are in fact

twin seals and we are absolutely delighted.
