Can you predict who's going to win the World Cup?

First this morning, there's a call for all girls to take

part in competitive sport to build up their confidence.

The head of the Girls Day School Trust - a group of

26 independent girls' schools - says coping with winning and losing helps

girls to succeed more in jobs when they're older, and they should take

Research suggests one in five girls do no sport after the age of ten.

To Pakistan next, where there's reports of gunfire and

an ongoing battle at the country's biggest airport this morning.

The army thought they'd retaken control of Karachi airport from

an armed group several hours ago, but more gunshots have been heard.

It's not clear what's behind the attack.

In the past hour we have heard two loud explosions. Rescue teams have

been seen rushing back to that area. Smoke and fire can be seen. Local

television stations are showing those pictures live. The head of the

security force insists there are no loose gunman had there.

The wait is nearly over - there are only days to go until

the biggest football tournament on Earth gets underway in Brazil.

But who will be this year's World Cup winners?

Will it be the reigning champions, Spain, the mighty Germany,

Leah's got all the latest on World Cup predictions.

Portugal. Spain. Brazil! Everybody has an idea about who they think

will win. But can using one of these really help you predict who will win

history of World Cup and other international football games over

the last 50 years. Brazil has a very good football team. It has a great

history of winning tournaments. It has won more than any the contrary.

It has also got a great advantage in playing at home. We think they have

the best chance. These guys are not the only ones with their own

predictions. The animal kingdom gets very involved, too. In 2010, Paul

the octopus chose the winner in all seven of Germany's World Cup

matches. And also called Spain's win over Holland in the final. This year

we are going to test the psychic powers of Rinaldo, a Brazilian
