Afternoon everyone, Martin here with Saturday's best stories.

0:00:050:00:07

Coming up: A heroes' welcome home for the Wales footy team.

0:00:070:00:11

And we've got five things you probably didn't

0:00:110:00:16

know about Jupiter.

0:00:160:00:25

But first, Andy Murray is one win away from a second Wimbledon title.

0:00:250:00:25

The British number one saw off Tomas Berdych in straight sets

0:00:290:00:32

and made it through to his third Wimbledon final.

0:00:320:00:34

He'll take on Milos Raonic, after the Canadian

0:00:340:00:36

beat Roger Federer.

0:00:360:00:38

Tomorrow will be Murray's 11th major final!

0:00:380:00:43

As you get older, you never know how many chances you're going to have

0:00:430:00:47

to play in a grand slam final, so you want to make

0:00:470:00:50

the most of your opportunities, and I'm glad I managed

0:00:500:00:53

to get through.

0:00:530:00:57

And Murray isn't the only Brit in a Wimbledon final -

0:00:570:00:59

Gordon Reid is through to the men's wheelchair singles final

0:00:590:01:02

after he won his semi-final against Belgian Joachim Gerard

0:01:020:01:06

in straight sets.

0:01:060:01:09

This is the first year that Wimbledon has had a singles

0:01:090:01:11

wheelchair tennis competition.

0:01:110:01:13

Later today - defending women's champion Serena Williams will take

0:01:130:01:16

on Angelique Kerber in the final.

0:01:160:01:17

Serena's the favourite, being world number one and having

0:01:170:01:21

won Wimbledon six times, while it's Kerber's

0:01:210:01:23

first final there.

0:01:230:01:25

But before the final gets going there will be a very important

0:01:250:01:29

coin toss to see which player gets to serve first.

0:01:290:01:32

Well, this year its Uma's job to toss the coin,

0:01:320:01:35

which means she'll be standing on Centre Court on women's final

0:01:350:01:37

day, right next to her sporting idols and I think it's safe to say

0:01:370:01:41

she's pretty excited!

0:01:410:01:43

It feels amazing, just incredible.

0:01:430:01:47

I'm literally living a dream.

0:01:470:01:49

I want to wish them good luck and hopefully

0:01:490:01:53

my favourite, Serena Williams, will win.

0:01:530:02:01

Now, they didn't quite reach the final - but tens of thousands

0:02:010:02:04

of Welsh footy fans lined the streets of Cardiff

0:02:040:02:06

to welcome the boys home after their historic journey at Euro

0:02:060:02:09

16, this is what happened.

0:02:090:02:11

It was a heros' welcome for the Welsh football team

0:02:130:02:16

in Cardiff as a sea of fans lined the streets to

0:02:160:02:19

greet them.

0:02:190:02:21

They have made history and given

0:02:210:02:23

people great memories.

0:02:230:02:25

Proudest day of my life.

0:02:250:02:26

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.

0:02:260:02:27

The boys have done very well out in

0:02:270:02:35

France and it is making Wales proud.

0:02:350:02:37

Fans followed the celebrations every step

0:02:370:02:39

of the way.

0:02:390:02:40

The players thunderclapping in the sunshine.

0:02:400:02:45

The party continued with a massive concert in

0:02:450:02:47

the Cardiff City Stadium.

0:02:470:02:50

It's great to be Welsh, isn't it?

0:02:500:02:52

It doesn't come around very often.

0:02:520:02:54

It's not supposed to happen to us.

0:02:540:02:56

It's great.

0:02:560:02:57

It's amazing.

0:02:570:02:57

Brilliant, really good.

0:02:570:02:58

It was the first time Wales has reached a major tournament

0:02:580:03:01

in nearly 60 years.

0:03:010:03:03

They made it to the semifinals of the Euros -

0:03:030:03:05

the furthest they have ever got before.

0:03:050:03:10

For the players it was a chance to say thank you.

0:03:100:03:13

To get a welcome like this was amazing and shows how

0:03:130:03:16

amazing our fans are.

0:03:160:03:17

We couldn't have done it without everybody here

0:03:170:03:19

and all the staff and players have been amazing and just a big thank

0:03:190:03:22

you to everybody.

0:03:220:03:23

It was a night Wales fans will remember for many

0:03:230:03:28

years to come. will remember for many

0:03:280:03:29

And up in space there's been another warm welcome -

0:03:290:03:31

for three astronauts who've just reached

0:03:310:03:33

the International Space Station on the Soyuz spacecraft.

0:03:330:03:36

It docked smoothly earlier this morning after a two-day journey.

0:03:360:03:42

The astronauts come from Russia, Japan and the US and join three

0:03:420:03:45

others who are already up there.

0:03:450:03:50

Nasa's Juno spacecraft started to orbit the biggest planet

0:03:500:03:52

in our Solar system, Jupiter.

0:03:520:03:57

It's job is to find out more about the gassy giant.

0:03:570:04:02

We don't know much but here are five things that we do know

0:04:020:04:05

about Jupiter.

0:04:050:04:06

Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system.

0:04:060:04:10

It's so big over 1000 earths would fit inside it.

0:04:100:04:13

But we don't really understand how Jupiter was formed, how it was made,

0:04:130:04:16

even where it was made exactly.

0:04:160:04:21

And it's key to understanding that is how we understand how

0:04:210:04:23

the other planets in the solar system were made.

0:04:230:04:25

Jupiter has got a really strong magnetic field.

0:04:250:04:32

What that means is it's got a really bright aurora, the Northern lights,

0:04:320:04:35

that shine really brightly at the north and south magnetic

0:04:350:04:37

poles and what we want to understand is how those are generated.

0:04:370:04:40

When we look at Jupiter we see these really beautiful cloud belts,

0:04:400:04:43

these horizontal bands of differnet colours and they are made up

0:04:430:04:46

of different elements in the atmosphere of Jupiter.

0:04:460:04:51

There is winds circling around Jupiter at over 300 mph

0:04:510:04:53

and we want to understand how those winds are generated and where those

0:04:530:04:56

colours are created.

0:04:560:04:58

Jupiter has four large moons - Io, Callisto, Ganymede and Europa.

0:04:580:05:04

Galileo was the first to spot these when he used a telescope to look

0:05:040:05:07

at them 400 years ago, and even today you can see

0:05:070:05:10

them just with the power of binoculars or a telescope.

0:05:100:05:14

We are now able to find planets orbiting other stars and the easiest

0:05:140:05:17

ones to sport are the largest ones, ones like Jupiter.

0:05:170:05:20

But they are very different from Jupiter, so making sure we can

0:05:200:05:24

understand Jupiter in our own solar system will help us understand,

0:05:240:05:27

not only how our planets are made, but how these other planets around

0:05:270:05:30

other stars are made.

0:05:300:05:37

Well, when it comes to flying high, those astronauts might have a little

0:05:370:05:40

bit of competition from our very own Prince George.

0:05:400:05:42

Check this out.

0:05:420:05:43

On a day out at an air show with his mum and dad,

0:05:430:05:46

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George didn't waste

0:05:460:05:49

anytime getting on some pretty cool helicopters!

0:05:490:05:51

That's all from me, your next Newsround update is at 1:40.
