ever imagined one day writing Well, one schoolboy has

done more than imagine. His very own strip has made it

into top comic the Phoenix. And he's only 11.

Here's Leah. First inspired by reading comic

strips at just five years old, Johnny loves writing,

drawing and telling stories I first got into writing

and drawing comics when I read the Dandy and I thought,

I could easily do this, it's just putting my drawings into panels with

the speech bubbles and the words. I enjoy writing, and drawing, I

just had to put the two together. Aardman got me into making the

animations, creating the characters, It was Creature Comforts that I

watched at first, it made animals that

could speak and was very creative. Now the 11-year-old has drawn

his own comic strip, it's being published in the comic's

200th anniversary addition. They asked would I like to be one

of the official artists and I was The Phoenix is a weekly comic

full of stories, puzzles and illustrations from top children's

writers and illustrators and Johnny's own creation Crystal

Ball will feature within its pages. I had to come up with different,

different characters, then I drew it and then I did

the colours, it was just a long experience but I think it's worth it

My top three tips for Minecraft would be, when you start off, it's

going to be dangerous at night, NME .com to come, so you need to make a

bed so you can sleep because when it's day you should be safe. You

need to try and get some food, you can set up a farm, you need to make

some tools as well, you can cut down a tree, make yourself some tools
