It's Monday, Ayshah here live on CBBC with some of this

One man and his incredible journey across two continents on foot.

And Ricky brings you the very latest tech to help you get around.

and the civil war that's affecting many who live there.

In the town of Madaya, there are reports that people

are running out of supplies of food, water and medical equipment.

Even though the town is only 25 miles from the capital of Damascus,

it's been cut off from the outside world because of fighting.

Over the last six months, the 40,000 people that live there

It's also meant no-one has been able to come into the town too.

food, water and electricity supplies are very low.

Sadly, Syria has been at war for five years and it's torn

the country apart into the areas controlled by the government

and other areas controlled by different opposition groups

and the war is so intense that all sides are willing to use

whatever it takes to try to gain advantage over their enemy,

and that has meant even cutting off regular food and water and medical

supplies into communities, which has left people,

So what is happening today is that all sides have agreed

But so many other areas are still desperate

Now that the town of Madiya has got supplies for next month,

it's hoped aid agencies will be able to get more supplies

Next, Ricky's tried out loads of cool new things while he's been

in America at the world's biggest gadget show, the CES.

He even got his hands on the world's first smart electric skates -

just one of the many new things to help you get around.

So we've seen loads of personal mobility gadgets right here.

Now what they are, in each skate, there is a motor in the wheel.

There is also a battery which powers the motor.

And the pressure you put at the front of the skate

They're pretty difficult to use, actually, I found.

I'm going to try and have another go.

Now to the runner who has travelled the length

Jamie Ramsey quit his job to run from Vancouver in Canada all the way

to Buenos Aires in Argentina. It's all to raise money for charity.

I am in Vancouver and I've got 18 months to run

Crossing over 14 countries, some of them a little bit more

He has to take everything he needs with him

in a specially-designed pram which he pushes as he runs.

All day long, I've been running uphill.

A large part of his journey was on the Pan-American Highway,

a stretch of road which runs from Canada through the USA

If you want to see what it looks like to dive down 4000,

er, 2000 metres, that's what it looks like!

It goes down and switches back and back,

across two continents and 14 countries.

He's worn out 17 pairs of shoes and travelled over 10,000 miles.

This is the moment he arrived in Buenos Aires.

Boom, boom, boom! Congratulations!

Jamie arrived back in the UK yesterday, where he ran

from Heathrow Airport to the Houses of Parliament -

but hopefully, we'll raise lots of money.
