since December last year, after an argument between the president,

and deputy leader, led to fighting between different ethnic groups.

It's this fighting which has left people living there, without

Food and shelter, with the person needs to stay alive, but here, they

are hard to find, one in three people do not have safe drinking

water and 4 million people not have enough food. United Nations have

worn that 50,000 children could die in the next few months. At this

centre, workers are seeing children with signs of malnutrition, a

condition caused by lack of proper food. Supplies are limited. In the

area that I am in, we are seeing rates of malnutrition that are going

through the roof. Food stocks in the country are running low because of

fighting. Crops have not been planted and two traders have run

away from their homes. More than 1 million others are trying to escape

civil war. This nine-year-old girl has left school so she can search

for food. Before the world started we normally ate meat and bought meat

with our money, but when the fighting broke out, we have no money

to buy it. United Nations has asked countries across the world to help

provide medicine, shelter and food, and to help children get back into

school. The United States has already said it would give ?107

million in emergency aid. Peace talks are now being held in the

capital to try to end the conflict, but a long-term solution to help the

people have -- is yet to be found. And remember that if anything

and there was triple gold for Team GB, at the European Athletics

Championships last night. James Dasaolu won
