Welcome to Newsround.

Ricky here.

0:00:090:00:10

First up, after four days of amazing sporting action, the Invictus Games

0:00:100:00:15

comes to an end today.

0:00:150:00:17

The Games, which were Prince Harry's idea, have

0:00:170:00:19

given injured, wounded and sick servicemen and women from all around

0:00:190:00:22

the world the chance to compete in all kinds of sporting event and

0:00:220:00:27

have been seen as a big success.

0:00:270:00:30

Well, many of the competitors will have taken

0:00:300:00:31

a lot of inspiration from Team GB's Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock.

0:00:310:00:34

He won the 100m gold at the European Championships last month,

0:00:340:00:37

adding to his collection of golds from the Paralympics.

0:00:370:00:40

So Martin tracked him down to find out more about his

0:00:400:00:43

story and just how he got so good.

0:00:430:00:45

I remember being at the Paralympics and it changed a lot of things,

0:00:450:00:48

in my opinion.

0:00:480:00:50

What has it changed mostly for you?

0:00:500:00:52

The way people view people with disabilities has completely

0:00:520:00:56

changed from London 2012.

0:00:560:00:59

And the sport is really intense and competitive and enjoyable.

0:00:590:01:05

There are some really cool sports you can get involved in too.

0:01:050:01:09

What the London 2012 Paralympics did was take away that aspect

0:01:090:01:13

of people being very overly nice to disabled people.

0:01:130:01:16

People just got involved.

0:01:160:01:18

Could you tell us about your disability?

0:01:180:01:23

I was born with cerebral palsy which means having a wheelchair.

0:01:230:01:26

What is your story?

0:01:260:01:27

When I was five, I had meningitis.

0:01:270:01:29

Quite a bad version of it.

0:01:290:01:32

My body tried to fight it and my foot started to die.

0:01:320:01:36

Eventually they had to take off my foot up to about there.

0:01:360:01:41

I did not lose my whole leg.

0:01:410:01:43

It could have been a lot worse.

0:01:430:01:45

Give us an idea of what it takes to become top of your game.

0:01:450:01:48

The biggest difference between being a professional

0:01:480:01:51

sportsperson and just recreational sport is definitely the commitment.

0:01:510:01:56

It is the 24/7 thinking about it.

0:01:560:02:01

What time to go to bed, what food to eat.

0:02:010:02:04

All of these different lifestyle choices

0:02:040:02:09

that you do not think about, you cannot do that as a sportsperson.

0:02:090:02:12

You have got to be thinking about the next session.

0:02:120:02:17

I am training five, six days a week. Was sport always something

0:02:170:02:20

you were going to get into?

0:02:200:02:21

I have always been sport mad through school, always football mad.

0:02:210:02:24

I think definitely if I was not doing it,

0:02:240:02:26

if I was doing a day-to-day job, I would definitely still be playing

0:02:260:02:29

something on the weekends.

0:02:290:02:30

Next, check out these amazing pictures of

0:02:300:02:32

cracks in the earth appearing around the base of a volcano in Hawaii.

0:02:320:02:35

It happened as the Kilauea volcano started to erupt in Honolulu.

0:02:350:02:39

Experts there are worried the lava could spill onto motorways nearby.

0:02:390:02:44

And finally, you might think Barack Obama turning up at

0:02:440:02:47

your school would be pretty cool.

0:02:470:02:48

But the American president got an unlikely snub

0:02:480:02:51

after making a surprise visit to see kids in Washington.

0:02:510:02:54

This girl told him she'd hoped Beyonce was coming instead.

0:02:540:02:59

That's it.

0:02:590:02:59

We're back at 11.55.
