It's 4.20pm on Friday afternoon and you're

Some fantastic news from JK Rowling for Harry Potter film fans.

And the gorilla that escaped from its enclosure at London Zoo.

But first, we're going to hear from two brothers caught

up in the war in Syria in the Middle East, a conflict that

has affected millions of children like Wissam and Zane.

Different groups have been fighting to control the country

This has made Syria a very dangerous place to live.

Many families have been forced to leave, but some have stayed.

Brothers Wissam and Zane are living with their parents

It's now constantly under fire and much of it has been destroyed.

The boys have been describing what life is like there in this

video filmed by their mum for the BBC's Today programme.

We spend the average day playing, drawing and reading.

But when the bombings starts we run to the corridor outside

Everyone who says we should leave are wrong, we're

staying here in my country I would like to tell

all the children in the world is we are here please

We haven't been to school for a whole month.

I want all you leaders of the world to unite to end

Next, London Zoo is investigating how one of its gorillas

managed to briefly escape from its enclosure yesterday.

Jenny's been finding out what happened.

This is Kumbuka, a silver back gorilla.

He's 18 years old and usually lives in an enclosure at London Zoo,

but on Thursday afternoon, he managed to sneak out of his den

and into a keepers' area that wasn't open to the public.

Vets and police helped to capture him within a couple of hours,

We were stuck in a cafe and there we were escorted out of there by

police. We were told to get away from the window. It was like being

in Jurassic Park, very exciting. It was like being in

Jurassic Park, very exciting. The zoo says the gorilla is fine

and no-one was ever in danger. They're looking into

how it happened. Every day at the zoo is different.

This was a minor incident but we're keeping a very close eye on the

gorilla. He's back with gorilla family.

Today London Zoo is open to visitors as normal and kumbooka's

adventure has come to an end, for now

Author JK Rowling has revealed that she's planned scripts for five films

She's also hinted that Dumbledore could appear in a future movie

The first movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,

It's set in New York, 70 years before Harry Potter's story.

It's about a writer called Newt Scamander and a community

inspiration from Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson!

There was no mince when I was watching this film that I went back

to the Harry Potter films -- there were moments.

Speaking of moments,today marks 950 years since a huge

moment in English history, the Battle of Hastings.

It's when William the Conqueror defeated King Harold

Events and re-enactments are taking place over this weekend,

so that children can learn more about what happened back in 1066.

We got to see people that have acted out things like this and they can

tell you about it. We got to see all the weapons.

Today is 90 years since the Winnie the Pooh book was first published.
