Hi. I'm Leah, live from the Newsround studio. Coming up on

today's show: We look back at one of the most exciting Six Nations

Championships in years. And keep watching to find out what

turned this river green. Only on Newsround.

First, our main story. The people of Crimea are today voting on whether

the region should stay part of the Ukraine or rejoin Russia. Most of

the people living in Crimea believe they're Russian, and voters are

expected to support leaving the Ukraine. But the vote has been

called illegal by the government in Kiev, and by countries like the

United States. The vote comes during a violent few months for Ukraine

that have caused some massive changes in the country, including

the removal of President Viktor Yanukovych from power. And for lots

Irish hero Brain O'Driscoll capped off his remarkable international

career with a second Six Nations trophy, after a thrilling 22-20

victory over France. BOD, as he's known to his team-mates and fans,

put in a man-of-the-match performance as Ireland won in Paris

for only the second time in 42 years.

He said it proves fairy tales do come true. Brian O'Driscoll's

finished his international rugby career, and will surely be

remembered an Irish champion. Knowing they could spoil the party

with a win, the French team raced into a 6-nil lead, but then Jonny

Sexton finally found a way through the tough blue defence. As did

Andrew Trimble a few minutes later. There was a scare right at the end

when the French had what would have been a winning try ruled out for a

forward pass. Earlier in the day, England had done

their best to win the championship, thrashing Italy 52-11. Stuart

Lancaster's side had had a good tournament, and despite falling

short this time, they will go into next year's World Cup in good

spirits. In the day's other game, a red card for Scotland's Stuart Hogg

played a big part in the side's collapse against Wales. Last year's

Six Nations champions blew away the Scots, winning by 51-3. But in the

end, this was Ireland's day, as they said goodbye to one of their

greatest ever players. And there's another farewell today -

this time in Sochi - as we wave goodbye to the Winter Paralympics.

The British team leave the Russian city with six medals. Over on the

Newsround website, you've been telling us your highlights from the

Games. Farsya from Birmingham says, "I loved it when Kelly Gallagher won

gold in the super-G. It was so inspiring!" And Bethany from

Scotland says that her favourite moment of the Paralympics was when

Jade Etherington won a medal. And Sarah says she's loved it all,

particularly the snowboarding, and she can't wait for the closing

ceremony tonight. Thanks so much for all those comments. Keep them coming

in. There are two huge games in the

Premier League later today. Although out of the title race themselves,

Manchester United will be hoping to get one over free-scoring Liverpool

when they play host to the Merseysiders at Old Trafford. And

then later this afternoon, Arsenal take on arch rivals Tottenham. And

with a look ahead to that game, here's a special report from number

one Spurs fan Jay. My favourite player in recent times

has to be Ledley King. Ledley King comes in! Spurs are in the lead!

In the North London derby against Arsenal, do you think we have a

chance of winning? Our strikers are in great form, which is important,

scoring goals. It's a big game for both teams, but I think we can win.

Kickabout website. From tomorrow, people in Paris are

being banned from driving into the French capital whenever they like.

Instead, they'll only be able to use their cars every other day. It's

because the French government are worried about air pollution in the

city, which went above safe levels for last week. On Monday, public

transport will be free of charge, and officials will review whether to

extend the driving restrictions for longer.

And if you missed it last night, Sir Tom Jones and Kylie Minogue had to

make heartbreaking decisions about which singers they would take on

into the live shows. Popular contestants Leo and Femi missed out,

Kylie pinning her hopes on Rachael O'Connor, Jamie Johnson and Lee

Glasson. The coaches had to slim down their teams from seven acts to

three. Tom also picked his final team for the live shows next

weekend. And the Chicago River in America was

dyed green yesterday for celebrations ahead of St Patrick's

Day on Monday. Thousands of people took to the streets for a parade and

to catch a sight of the river. Across the world, the occasion is

marked on the 17th of March every year, where people celebrate the

apostle of Ireland, St Patrick, who lived in the fifth century! These

guys just kicked off the party a little earlier!
