First up today, it's an exciting time for England's women footballers

who are taking on France next Friday in a friendly match as they build up

the European Championships in the Netherlands in 2017.

Ricky caught up with two of their star players,

Ellen White and Alex Greenwood.

The World Cup was incredible, bronze medal...

We were all ecstatic to get that but, obviously,

we're probably excited to get the Euro qualification out

the way and kind of look forward.

Moving on from the World Cup, it was a

fantastic tournament and I think we just need

to move on and actually, so that we can do it again,

you know, not a one-off.

How do you feel when you get to wear that outfit and

you get to put that top on?

Do you still get a bit of a buzz?

You must do.

Yeah, absolutely.

You would be lying if you said you didn't, you

know, it's the dream growing up.

I think when we get new kit, everyone

is like buzzing.

Like Christmas.

It is.

You are like a kid because you are just

so excited and it is just a real privilege

and we are very lucky to be in the situation we are.

So what would you say to a young girl

out there who perhaps is into girls football

but isn't getting the encouragement

and is perhaps being told that it is not something

you can do when you are older?

We have been through those experiences and we

know how it feels to go through school, you know,

you are changing, your body is changing.

Perhaps you don't want to do sport.

It is frustrating when people say those negative things

but, you know, you have just got to stand

tall and be like, no, I want to play

women's football.

Look, they have got a career out of it,

they are actually getting paid to play women's football, you know,

that is what I want to be.

Other football news now, and a quick Premier League round up for you.

Chelsea beat current champions, Leicester, 3-0, at Stamford Bridge.

While Manchester City missed two penalties to draw with Everton one

all at the Etihad Stadium.

And Hull's new head coach Mike Phelan had a disappointing

match as the Tigers were thrashed, 6-1 by Bournemouth.

Cerebral Palsy is a disorder that affects people in different ways.

12-year-old Max, who lives in Australia, is one of them

but thanks to some new technology, he and his classmates have found

new ways of having fun together.

Meet Max.

He loves school and hanging out with his mates.

Max has trouble speaking because he has cerebral palsy,

a condition that means his brain has trouble communicating

with his muscles.

But recently a piece of technology called Compass has meant Max can now

communicate by himself.

Compass is great and I can communicate independently.

What's more, it's helped him get closer to his classmates

because they've been able to make games that he can play on it.

That's it, where the red dot is.

Well done.

Our teacher said that we should make a game for Max and then it kind

of just went from there.

We all thought of our own ideas and I went with the maze and one

of my other friends, he went with a car racing game.

They use coding and programmes like this to create all

the different parts of the game.

These games, he smiles a lot when he plays them because he really

enjoys being able to play games with the eye gaze instead of just

watching someone else play them.

All right, Max, the point of this game is to help you strengthen your

eye gaze for getting around the track.

Thanks to the games, Max has come away with new friends.

When I first met Max, I didn't really know how

to interact with him

but then when I started making this, I interacted a lot more

with him and me and Max have a good friendship now.

They also entered the games they designed into a technology

competition and came a brilliant second place.

But they say they're just glad Max has a new way to have

fun with his friends.

Next, it's that time of the week where we bring you the weird

and wonderful from around the world, this week we're talking pedals,

pumpkins and insects!

Take a look at this.

Have you ever tried cycling and working at the same time?

Well, this lot have!

To focus their energy and stop them from tap, tap, tapping

their pencils, one teacher in the US attached pedals under the

school desks in her classroom.

What a WHEELIE good idea!

This lady is Cindy Tobeck, a teacher from California.

Check out the giant spooky vegetable that she grew.

Do you even recognise what it is?

She took home first prize with her pumpkin nicknamed

Orange Crush.

It weighed a whopping 866 kilograms.

That's more than the average cow.

And probably enough pumpkin to feed her whole town for

Halloween.

A bakery in Scotland has started selling cakes made from...

Yep, bugs.

Around 2 billion people worldwide eat insects as part of their diet.

And some scientists say they're really good for you.

Scorpions, mealworms and crickets are just some of

the special brownie ingredients.

It can't BEE right.

It must be flies, I mean lies!

Ugh.

Finally, how about this for a mountain biking course?

Bikers took to the Utah mountains in the United States in 11th running

of the Red Bull Rampage event.

The winner was Brandon Semenuk from Canada
