What a night at the velodrome as Laura Trott becomes the first

British woman to win four gold medals.

And her boyfriend Jason Kenny's not bad either.

Mo Farah avoids another fall as he goes through his heat

And GB sailors Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark will win

Olympic gold if they finish their medal race later.

It was an amazing night for Team GB athletes in the velodrome. Laura

Trott is the first female Team GB athlete to win four gold medals. I

was in the velodrome to soak up that nursery yesterday. Nobody wanted to

leave the velodrome, they all wanted to stay there. We also got some more

medals in gymnastics yesterday. They came from one of our youngest

athlete is, 16-year-old Amy Tinkler, and Nile Wilson also got a medal.

Laura Trott has become the first British woman to win four

Olympic gold medals, by defending her omnium title.

It is a special, special Olympic moment for Great Britain.

Towards the line, Jason Kenny's got it.

Her partner, Jason Kenny, followed, winning the keirin,

He now has the same number of golds as cycling legend Sir Chris Hoy.

In the sprint, Becky James was awarded the silver medal

Giles Scott beaming with joy, winning the men's fin.

Jack Laugher was back on the diving board after his sensational gold

alongside Chris Mears earlier in the week.

He won silver in the three metre springboard.

So the medals just keep on coming for Team GB.

She is one of Britain's's youngest athlete at the games. 16-year-old

Amy Tinkler, she won bronze in the women's floor. Another bronze in

gymnastics and a first for Team GB. Nile Wilson winning Britain's's

first-ever medal in the horizontal bar.

Sticking with the Olympics, Simone Biles has become one

of the biggest stars of this year's Games in Rio.

Everyone wants to know how she has won so many medals.

She's the most searched-for gymnast online, has a move named

after her and has even been described as one of

Simone Biles, Team USA's superhuman competitor.

At only 19 years old and just 142 centimetres tall,

Simone has won a whopping four gold medals and a bronze

when she went on a school trip at just six years old.

Since then, she has taken part in lots of competitions and has even

I mean, surely you put the pressure on yourself and that is enough?

Yeah, so I think everyone sees the potential in me,

so they hope that is the result in the end.

But I think bronze is still pretty good.
