We're live on CBBC with all of Thursday's top stories.

:00:00.:00:00.

The lumpy vegetables making it into the supermarkets.

:00:00.:00:11.

And Children battle it out with their flying drones.

:00:12.:00:14.

First, Can you imagine not having any brothers and sisters

:00:15.:00:30.

wasn't allowed in the country where you live?

:00:31.:00:34.

Well, that's what life has been like in China for the past 40

:00:35.:00:37.

All these schoolkids in China have something pretty big in common,

:00:38.:00:48.

But for some of them that might change soon.

:00:49.:00:53.

For the past 40 years the Chinese government has only allowed couples

:00:54.:00:56.

They made the decision because the number of people living

:00:57.:01:01.

in the country was growing too quickly and families were having

:01:02.:01:04.

Because the country was poor back then the government was worried

:01:05.:01:09.

they would not be enough food to go around.

:01:10.:01:11.

But on New Year's Day this year the law changed.

:01:12.:01:15.

Families are now allowed to have a second baby

:01:16.:01:17.

This girl is 12 years old and now thinking

:01:18.:01:22.

about whether she will have a brother or a sister.

:01:23.:01:25.

TRANSLATION: There are three people in my family.

:01:26.:01:30.

I am a so-called one child in the family.

:01:31.:01:37.

Most of my friends and classmates around me are like me.

:01:38.:01:40.

They are the only child in their families.

:01:41.:01:44.

I feel pretty good to be the only child in the family.

:01:45.:01:48.

But personally I would like to have a brother.

:01:49.:01:51.

The government changed the law because there are a lot of elderly

:01:52.:01:54.

people in China and they are worried there will not be enough younger

:01:55.:01:57.

Now lots of mums and dads are thinking about having

:01:58.:02:03.

Because me and my husband were single kids in the family

:02:04.:02:08.

we want our kids to have the experience of having a brother

:02:09.:02:11.

So many children in China might have a brother or sister to share

:02:12.:02:18.

And you can watch Brothers and Sisters, a Newsround

:02:19.:02:23.

Next, do you like your vegetables the perfect shape or would you eat

:02:24.:02:30.

It's something that's really got you talking online.

:02:31.:02:34.

Every year, millions of tonnes of fresh veg never make it

:02:35.:02:38.

on to the shelves, but a trial by one supermarket found

:02:39.:02:40.

lots of customers are happy to buy curved vegetables.

:02:41.:02:45.

Lots of you have been telling us what you think online.

:02:46.:02:48.

Fiona from Whiston hates wonky vegetables because how would people

:02:49.:02:50.

Neeya from south-east Wales says: Of course it's silly

:02:51.:02:56.

Aaron from Birmingham says no because most people might think

:02:57.:03:04.

Thanks for all of those, they're great.

:03:05.:03:08.

Well, a new high-tech CBBC programme called Airmageddon sees children go

:03:09.:03:13.

head to head putting their flying skills to the test.

:03:14.:03:17.

Rachel Stringer is one of the show's presenters and with us now.

:03:18.:03:25.

I cannot wait to see this. It is so exciting. It is so cool. It is a

:03:26.:03:37.

game show and each episode sees four teams consisting of an aviator and a

:03:38.:03:43.

wing man. They go head to head in challengers and the first one is an

:03:44.:03:49.

assault course. The second one is a skills base and they might have a

:03:50.:03:53.

magnet to navigate around the arena. The third one is two teams going

:03:54.:03:59.

head to head with lasers and lives and battling it out.

:04:00.:04:07.

All of the drones at the same, but they get to look different. They

:04:08.:04:13.

could design their own drones. This time they have to make the drone

:04:14.:04:18.

kit. We have a dolphin and a Scottie dog. You home with you. What did you

:04:19.:04:26.

do with it? I took it home and at the weekend I became an expert. Are

:04:27.:04:32.

they dangerous? Have they had crashes in the studio? Like anything

:04:33.:04:40.

that is fast-paced, you have to control it. Some of them had

:04:41.:04:45.

crashes, but they were really safe. The crew and everybody was

:04:46.:04:53.

protected. It is on this Saturday at 825 in the morning. We are back

:04:54.:04:58.

tomorrow morning.

:04:59.:05:01.
