We bring you some very exciting Doctor Who news, with just days

before the news series kicks off.

News on a truly golden night for British sport.

And a very long journey for War Horse!

The wait is almost over.

Doctor Who is back on your screens this weekend -

there's a new Doctor, a redesigned Tardis and a giant T-Rex!

Welcome to the TARDIS.

This is the new set for the 12th doctor, it is pretty exciting but I

know some kids who are more excited than me, they are about to come on

a special tour but they do not know they will meet a special someone.

Watch this space.

My favourite bit is probably all the detail at the top, the bookcases.

It definitely is bigger on the inside.

I play the new Doctor Who.

Why did you want to become the doctor?

Because it is the greatest role in TV.

It is probably the closest you can get to

travelling through space and time.

Who would not want to do that?

Were you worried taking over from Matt Smith?

Was I worried taking over from Matt Smith?

Yes because he's fantastic.

I love Matt Smith.

He was an amazing Doctor, funny and clever and wise as young.

He's a brilliant actor.

And he is a lovely guy.

It is a difficult job to take over from someone so wonderful

but he is on my side so I hope everyone else will be.

It was a golden night at the European para-athletics

Championships in Swansea in Wales.

There were four golds altogether.

Hannah Cockcroft won the 100 meters wheelchair race in her category.

And Jonnie Peacock won the 100 metres, adding to to

his Paralympic and World titles.

He was pretty pleased with himself!

It is a great relief.

Three out of three isn't bad.

I would like to say I am championship

performer, it is all about getting medals at the end of the day.

Another one for British athletics.

We have a strong team here and I hope we will do well.

Hopefully we can emulate the success we did in Zurich and do

my part like they did theirs.

And the golds didn't stop there.

There were three more at the European Swimming

Championships in Germany including a world record win for Great Britain,

in the 4 by 100 mixed medley relay.

At the Youth Olympics in China, 16 year old Giarnni Regini-Moran

won gold in the gymnastics.

In the pool, there was another gold for the men's

4 by 100 metre relay team.

The hit stage play of Michael Morpurgo's War Horse is

taking its biggest jump yet - it's galloping all the way to China.

The story of World War One horse Joey will be

brought to life by these actors.

Rehearsals have started in Chinese capital Beijing, although the shows

won't start for another year.

It's an appropriate time as this year is the Chinese Year

of the Horse!
