Good afternoon, it's Jenny here with Thursday afternoon's | :00:00. | :00:07.
Keep watching because we've got loads coming your way. | :00:08. | :00:10.
Find out what Sir David Attenborough thinks. | :00:11. | :00:15.
And dancers show off their moves in this CBBC flashmob. | :00:16. | :00:28.
First, to some very exciting news in outer space. | :00:29. | :00:31.
Astronomers in the United States say they may have | :00:32. | :00:34.
discovered a brand new planet in our solar system that's about ten | :00:35. | :00:37.
The solar system - it's 4.6 billion years | :00:38. | :00:45.
old and made up of eight planets. | :00:46. | :00:47.
But that could all be about to change. | :00:48. | :00:54.
American astronomers say they have strong evidence | :00:55. | :00:55.
that there is a new ninth planet orbiting the Sun - | :00:56. | :00:58.
The mysterious world, nicknamed "Planet Nine", | :00:59. | :01:05.
is thought to be gaseous and similar to Uranus or Neptune. | :01:06. | :01:09.
The scientists have not observed the object directly yet, | :01:10. | :01:12.
but say it's a planet because of the way other bodies | :01:13. | :01:14.
By studies these rocks, we know how they should move. But they're not | :01:15. | :01:32.
moving the way we expect. And the only explanation is another planet | :01:33. | :01:37.
that is pulling on the objects and making them move differently. | :01:38. | :01:40.
If it exists, Planet Nine would take between 10,000 and 20,000 years | :01:41. | :01:43.
to complete one full lap around the Sun. | :01:44. | :01:45.
The only thing left for astronomers to do now is track it down. | :01:46. | :01:51.
We don't know exactly where it is. We are going to be scouring the | :01:52. | :02:00.
skies to find it. Then we can study it. | :02:01. | :02:02.
To tennis now and the Australian Open, where British number one, | :02:03. | :02:05.
Johnanna Konta is through to the third round, after winning | :02:06. | :02:07.
Andy Murray is also through to the next round. | :02:08. | :02:10.
He beat Australian Sam Groth, in just 90 minutes. | :02:11. | :02:12.
He'll now face Portugal's Joao Sousa. | :02:13. | :02:17.
They stalked the earth hundreds of million years ago and scientists | :02:18. | :02:20.
are constantly uncovering dinosaur fossils. | :02:21. | :02:22.
But it's thought Sir David Attenborough has uncovered | :02:23. | :02:25.
the world's biggest dinosaur for his latest documentary | :02:26. | :02:27.
and he's told Newsround he believes there's a very small chance | :02:28. | :02:30.
the prehistoric beasts could be brought back from extinction. | :02:31. | :02:41.
A digital version of a dinosaur. But could this computer generated | :02:42. | :02:51.
dinosaur become a reality. For David atborough, who was part of team who | :02:52. | :02:55.
uncovered the bones of this creature, believes anything is | :02:56. | :03:00.
possible. Do you think scientist could bring back dinosaurs? It is | :03:01. | :03:06.
just possible that scientists could discover ways of doing so, if they | :03:07. | :03:11.
did it would be, very... Expensive to do. He believes the money would | :03:12. | :03:16.
be better spent looking after animals around today and there would | :03:17. | :03:20.
be no space for them. Where would the poor old thing go? Where are you | :03:21. | :03:30.
going to put him? We have enough problems keeping elephants alive. | :03:31. | :03:34.
Where would you put a dinosaur? He believes the money would be better | :03:35. | :03:38.
spent looking after animals alive today. But he was blown away by the | :03:39. | :03:46.
discovery in Argentina. This is its thigh bone. They found over 200 | :03:47. | :03:53.
separate bones. We can be sure what the annal looked like. -- animal | :03:54. | :03:58.
looked like. It was very big. So that was a real excitement to sea | :03:59. | :04:05.
that. For Sir David discovering fossils is still exciting and he | :04:06. | :04:08.
thinks there is so much more to find. | :04:09. | :04:11.
Head over to the Newsround web site to see Sir David Attenborough's | :04:12. | :04:13.
And you can find out more about the dinosaur fossils | :04:14. | :04:17.
If you are a fan of CBBC show Taking the Next Step, | :04:18. | :04:23.
or if you just like a bit of a boogie - | :04:24. | :04:26.
200 dancers performed this fresh routine which was designed | :04:27. | :04:29.
They all just started dancing at a shopping centre as part | :04:30. | :04:33.
of the flash mob, which surprised a few people. | :04:34. | :04:35.
There were all types of dancers from hip-hop to ballet taking part. | :04:36. | :04:38.
It was filmed ahead of a new series of the show coming to CBBC later | :04:39. | :04:41.
That's all from me, Newsround's back right here on CBBC tomorrow morning | :04:42. | :04:50. |
