Afternoon guys, I'm Ayshah, with your last Newsround of the day. | :00:00. | :00:09.
Coming up: We take a look at the loos of the future, that could | :00:10. | :00:11.
change the world. And... Could Kylie be quitting The | :00:12. | :00:18.
Voice after one series? First then - just how important is | :00:19. | :00:23.
your toilet to you? For lots of people, a toilet is a | :00:24. | :00:26.
luxury they don't have. It's thought that 2.5 billion people in the world | :00:27. | :00:30.
haven't got a working loo, and it means really serious diseases can | :00:31. | :00:33.
spread easily in poorer countries. Now a big event in India aims to | :00:34. | :00:37.
invent the toilet of the future, which could save millions of lives. | :00:38. | :00:42.
We use them everyday and probably couldn't imagine life without one. | :00:43. | :00:45.
But in the developing world, billions of people don't have | :00:46. | :00:49.
toilets. One of the main problems is that in some countries, there simply | :00:50. | :00:52.
isn't the water available to flush the waste away. Living without | :00:53. | :00:56.
toilets can lead to poor health and really serious diseases such as | :00:57. | :01:01.
cholera and typhoid. They're illnesses that we don't find in this | :01:02. | :01:05.
country, and they can be deadly. That's why the richest man in the | :01:06. | :01:08.
world, Microsoft founder Bill Gates is using his charity, The Bill and | :01:09. | :01:12.
Melinda Gates Foundation, to set a challenge for inventors come up with | :01:13. | :01:15.
radical designs to make a new kind of loo that doesn't need fresh water | :01:16. | :01:27.
to make them work. Use these balls to carry it through the system. We | :01:28. | :01:35.
have 2000 watts of solar power making hot air. The hot-air comes | :01:36. | :01:42.
down and the balls move through this system. In time, the shaker here | :01:43. | :01:51.
puts the waste in the bag. At the moment, these new toilet | :01:52. | :01:54.
designs are still being developed but its hoped that with loads of | :01:55. | :01:57.
experts working together they'll invent a toilet of the future, to | :01:58. | :02:00.
help make poorer countries healthier, and safer, places to | :02:01. | :02:04.
live. Next, last night saw a | :02:05. | :02:06.
record-breaking total for Sport Relief - over ?51 million, to help | :02:07. | :02:10.
poorer kids all over the world. But it's expected that loads more will | :02:11. | :02:13.
be raised over this weekend, as the Sport Relief Games continue around | :02:14. | :02:17.
the country. Thousands across the UK will be running, swimming and | :02:18. | :02:19.
cycling and Helen Skelton, who starred in last night's show, says | :02:20. | :02:22.
getting involved is what Sport Relief is all about. | :02:23. | :02:32.
Everybody seems to go the extra mile. The whole point is to | :02:33. | :02:36.
encourage everyone at home to get involved. It is not just about | :02:37. | :02:42.
giving money, it is about getting involved in doing something as well. | :02:43. | :02:47.
The events are all over the country and you can still get involved. That | :02:48. | :02:54.
is why I love Sport Relief. Next, we're in the Year of Code - a | :02:55. | :02:59.
big effort to get you guys learning the language of computers. One way | :03:00. | :03:02.
is through code clubs - special after-school classes where experts, | :03:03. | :03:05.
teach how to build apps and make games! And they needed a very | :03:06. | :03:08.
special person to lead the charge, check this out. It was a very | :03:09. | :03:20.
competitive nights. Why would she like to work out called club? -- | :03:21. | :03:33.
Code club. What do you think you bring to the table? | :03:34. | :03:40.
The World Wide Web. But they did not make the mark, only one man made it. | :03:41. | :03:50.
You are hired. Prince Andrew has been a patron since 2012 and know it | :03:51. | :03:57.
is report time. How is he doing? Since you have been involved in the | :03:58. | :04:03.
club, what have you brought? I having courage to people to take up | :04:04. | :04:08.
coding. That is why young people should look at what the club is up | :04:09. | :04:20.
to and join. Have you taken up any other roles? I have not. The idea of | :04:21. | :04:32.
the club is to get children excited about learning the language of the | :04:33. | :04:36.
Internet so they can make things like computer games, animations and | :04:37. | :04:41.
websites. It is run by volunteers who know a lot about coding. Tell me | :04:42. | :04:46.
about what you are doing. We're trying to make a flapping bird. | :04:47. | :04:55.
We're trying to make our own. Tell me what you have learned here. I | :04:56. | :05:00.
have learned how to make my own games. It is important because at | :05:01. | :05:06.
the minute there is a lot of technology and people are into | :05:07. | :05:11.
games. From September, primary schools across England will be | :05:12. | :05:15.
taught how to code in class time, to soothe the know-how to use the | :05:16. | :05:20.
language of the future. Dash-mac so that they know how. | :05:21. | :05:28.
Bird news now, a pair of Peregrine falcons have started to look after | :05:29. | :05:32.
their second egg of 2014, after it was laid in the early hours of this | :05:33. | :05:36.
morning. You can see the first of the two eggs in these pics from a | :05:37. | :05:40.
couple of days ago. The pair have been nesting on the top of Norwich | :05:41. | :05:43.
Cathedral since 2012. Peregrine falcons are rare species, but these | :05:44. | :05:46.
parent birds have been laying eggs on the same ledge for the last six | :05:47. | :05:49.
years. Last up to some rumours that Kylie | :05:50. | :05:52.
might be leaving The Voice after just one season. A newspaper | :05:53. | :05:55.
reported today that the judge may quit the show because filming | :05:56. | :05:59.
clashes with her upcoming tour. We asked the makers of The | :06:00. | :06:00. |
