But first to Calais in France, where demolition is starting today

on one of the biggest migrant and refugee camps in Europe.

Many people have been living in the Jungle camp

while they try to travel to the UK.

So what happens to them now?

I've been finding out.

This is the Calais migrant camp, also known as the Jungle.

For thousands of people, it's somewhere they called home -

but not any more.

Over the last few years, this makeshift camp,

made from tents and huts, has been getting bigger.

Conditions inside the camp are poor, and lots of those

affected are children.

According to charities, around 10,000 migrants,

including 1000 children, have settled here.

Many have escaped war and poverty in countries like Syria,

Afghanistan and parts of Africa.

Local people in Calais have been campaigning

for the Jungle to close down, and the French government has

also come under fire.

The reason thousands of migrants have travelled to Calais

is because it's close to the UK.

Many believe they would have a better quality of life here.

Some try to jump on the back of lorries and hide on board ferries

heading to England.

The journey is dangerous and illegal.

Earlier this year, authorities in France announced

they would close the camp.

They want to move the remaining migrants to official

centres all over France, where they say the conditions will

better, but many of the migrants and refugees don't want to go.

Around 100 children from the camp, some of whom have family

in the UK and some who don't, are being bought here

to start a new life.

The camps will be completely demolished by the end of this year.

It's still unclear where all the migrants will go and some groups

say they're still worried for the welfare of those who risked

everything to get here.

OK, time to find out what happened over on Strictly

and The X Factor last night.

First up - Strictly.

Daisy Lowe and actress Lesley Joesph were in the dance-off on Sunday.

Both celebs got the lowest number of votes from the public.

In the end, the judges decided to let Lesley go.

On The X Factor, Relley C and Four Of Diamonds faced each

other in the sing-off.

A strong performance from both acts, but the judges decided

to save the girl band and send Relley C home.

And the Radio One Teen Awards took place last night in London.

Little Mix were there.

The 'Most Entertaining Celeb' award went to Taylor Swift,

Dan and Phil won best flogger.

And the award for 'worst return visit to their former club' has

to go to Jose Mourinho.

The ex-Chelsea manager ended up having to apologise to his new team,

Manchester United, after they lost a humiliating 4-0

at Stamford Bridge.

Less than a minute into the game against Chelsea, a slip-up

from United's defence let Pedro sneak a goal.

Kante was next, and it went downhill from there.

Schoolkids across the UK are going head-to-head

to try to build and race the fastest car they can.

This is Bloodhound.

A year from now, it will be attempting to reach 1000 mph,

breaking the landspeed record, travelling faster than

the speed of sound.

Today, we're building our very own Bloodhound.

My name's Alex, and me and my classmates are part of a big

competition to build the fastest foam car in the UK.

First, we've got to design our car.

The aim is to make it as fast as possible.

Ours won't be as fast as the Bloodhound.

That's what the teachers hope, anyway.

I think this is going to be the winning idea.

Once we've added the wheels and wings, all that's

left to do is name it.

I think we should call it Steven The Angel.

I like it.

We've built our car now.

I think I fancy our chances.

Super speedy to super sleepy - this creature doesn't

like to follow the crowd.

This leopard seal has made a harbour in Auckland, New Zealand,

her home for almost a year and now, instead of heading south

for the Antarctic summer, she's decided to stay put

in warmer waters.

Marine biologists say the behaviour could be a world first.
