Hello and welcome back to your lunchtime Newsround with me, Hayley. | :00:00. | :00:00.
Who will win the big home nations clash | :00:07. | :00:08.
between Northern Ireland and Wales this evening? | :00:09. | :00:12.
And the boy who's learnt to drive with his eyes. | :00:13. | :00:24.
First, adults across the UK have voted to leave a club of countries | :00:25. | :00:28.
It was a historic day yesterday, when the decision was announced. | :00:29. | :00:33.
After 40 years of Britian being part of the EU, we will soon be leaving. | :00:34. | :00:39.
Martin is down in London, where all the action | :00:40. | :00:41.
It's another busy day down here at Westminster in London. | :00:42. | :00:58.
This boat is the one thing everyone will be talking about. Pretty soon, | :00:59. | :01:06.
MPs will be going into Parliament to find out what will happen next of | :01:07. | :01:11.
the -- after the decision was made. Well, many people who wanted | :01:12. | :01:14.
to remain in the European Union are worried by the result of | :01:15. | :01:18.
this vote, as so many things But for many of those | :01:19. | :01:21.
who wanted to leave, now it is time to celebrate taking | :01:22. | :01:24.
back control. And they think they've got their | :01:25. | :01:26.
country back. And, of course, the other big | :01:27. | :01:28.
news yesterday was that Prime Minister David Cameron | :01:29. | :01:30.
decided to resign. Once the vote to leave | :01:31. | :01:32.
was announced, many people expected him to resign, which he's | :01:33. | :01:37.
said he'll do by the autumn. He led the campaign to stay | :01:38. | :01:40.
in the European Union and, having lost the vote, he wanted someone | :01:41. | :01:43.
else to lead Britain out of Europe. We spoke to some kids earlier | :01:44. | :01:52.
to find out what they thought about the vote to leave | :01:53. | :01:55.
and the Prime Minister resigning. What did you think about the result | :01:56. | :01:57.
of the EU referendum? I was quite happy, to be honest, | :01:58. | :02:00.
because now it means we can see what happens in the future | :02:01. | :02:03.
and we have our freedom. It also means we don't have to put | :02:04. | :02:05.
money into the EU and we can spend it on things in our country | :02:06. | :02:09.
and build up our country itself. It was disappointing, | :02:10. | :02:12.
because the decision was made for our generation, yet we didn't | :02:13. | :02:14.
get to have a say in it. But I think that with | :02:15. | :02:17.
these new challenges I thought that it was definitely | :02:18. | :02:20.
going to be Remain. And I kind of hope that | :02:21. | :02:24.
England will be stable. But, at the end of the day, | :02:25. | :02:26.
it's democracy and everyone so, if this is what Britain wants, | :02:27. | :02:30.
then, maybe this can be the start of new opportunities | :02:31. | :02:34.
that we could take. And the Prime Minister | :02:35. | :02:36.
stepping down. Yes, because I didn't think | :02:37. | :02:37.
he'd actually back down, I wasn't surprised to be honest, | :02:38. | :02:41.
because he lost his battle. So I thought someone | :02:42. | :02:45.
else from the Leave party I actually wasn't surprised, | :02:46. | :02:47.
because he did lose. And if he's lost the battle, | :02:48. | :02:51.
he thought the country could use some fresh leadership, | :02:52. | :02:55.
so I'm not surprised he did. If you want any more info | :02:56. | :02:59.
about what happened yesterday, then head online, where you can | :03:00. | :03:02.
see our guide to what happens next. And we know there are lots | :03:03. | :03:05.
of questions still to be answered, so we've also got loads | :03:06. | :03:09.
of your questions with answers It's an exciting afternoon for Wales | :03:10. | :03:11.
and Northern Ireland fans Good morning, welcome | :03:12. | :03:23.
to the Parc De Prince stadium. In just a few hours' time, | :03:24. | :03:39.
on this very pitch behind me, Wales and Northern Ireland | :03:40. | :03:42.
will battle it out for a place It's the first time two home nations | :03:43. | :03:45.
have met in the knockout stages It's also the first time either | :03:46. | :03:49.
nation has made it this far in a championship since | :03:50. | :03:53.
the 1958 World Cup! Wales go into the game | :03:54. | :03:55.
as slight favourites, And, of course, they have one | :03:56. | :03:57.
of the competitions' top goal scorers in their team, too - | :03:58. | :04:01.
Gareth Bale - who will be hoping Northern Ireland made | :04:02. | :04:04.
the final 16 by the skin of their teeth, having | :04:05. | :04:07.
finished as one of the Michael O'Neill's side have shown | :04:08. | :04:09.
amazing team spirit so far and will be aiming to give Wales | :04:10. | :04:13.
a really tough match today. So, it's all set up | :04:14. | :04:16.
to be a fascinating game The city centre is filling up | :04:17. | :04:18.
with fans from both home nations who have travelled here | :04:19. | :04:22.
to cheer on their teams. Next, to the incredible tech that | :04:23. | :04:25.
allowed a 13-year-old boy in Australia to drive, | :04:26. | :04:30.
using just his eyes. The hardest thing for me is not | :04:31. | :04:34.
having some independence. so it's hard for him to do | :04:35. | :04:42.
many of the things other kids can. Scientist Dr Jordan | :04:43. | :04:48.
Nguyen has a plan. If we can get it working, | :04:49. | :04:59.
you're going to be controlling technology | :05:00. | :05:02.
through your eyes. You can, | :05:03. | :05:03.
without touching an object, be able to turn on an object and be | :05:04. | :05:05.
able to control that technology. At the moment, Riley speaks | :05:06. | :05:12.
using a special computer he controls Jordan has adapted that tech | :05:13. | :05:15.
to allow Riley to control things around his | :05:16. | :05:21.
house using his eyes. Now, it's time for Riley to really | :05:22. | :05:25.
put the tech to the test. He's going to use it | :05:26. | :05:28.
to try to drive. If he gets too close to something | :05:29. | :05:31.
in his path, then buzzers Well, Doctor Nguyen looks pretty | :05:32. | :05:34.
pleased with results. This has been the best | :05:35. | :05:58.
experience of my life. Newsround's back right here | :05:59. | :06:04.
just before 2pm. | :06:05. | :06:09. |
