Good morning, Ricky with your Monday Newsround. | :00:00. | :00:00.
I'm in Scotland finding out what kids think about the big EU result. | :00:07. | :00:21.
And I'm in France where England take on Iceland tonight for a place in | :00:22. | :00:22.
the Europe 2016 quarterfinals. First - the prime minister | :00:23. | :00:34.
and the country's politicians will today start to work out | :00:35. | :00:37.
what to do, after adults voted last week for the UK to leave the club | :00:38. | :00:40.
of 28 countries called Martin's been in London looking | :00:41. | :00:43.
into one of the big issues. On Friday, we learned the UK decided | :00:44. | :00:58.
to vote to leave a club of countries called the European Union. One of | :00:59. | :01:02.
the big issues in the build-up to this was immigration, not when | :01:03. | :01:06.
people decide to leave one country to live in another, but the people | :01:07. | :01:10.
in charge of the Leave campaign say people from EU countries already | :01:11. | :01:14.
living here won't be asked to leave, but as I've been finding out, people | :01:15. | :01:18.
are worried about what the disease and mean to them. I spoke to some | :01:19. | :01:25.
kids whose parents are from EU countries -- the decisions mean to | :01:26. | :01:32.
them. My mum is from Ireland. My mum is Dutch, my dad is Australian, and | :01:33. | :01:40.
I was born in America. My name is Serena and I live in the UK. My mum | :01:41. | :01:45.
is from Spain, my dad is from Ireland. How did you feel when you | :01:46. | :01:51.
hear the news the UK were leaving? I was quite sad. I started crying a | :01:52. | :02:01.
bitter. I was really sad we left. We won't be part of the European union. | :02:02. | :02:10.
It is not being part of a family. I feel slightly less welcomed because | :02:11. | :02:16.
I'm not part of UK, because the UK is not part of the EU. I wasn't born | :02:17. | :02:24.
here, I just live here. It will affect us a lot in the future, if | :02:25. | :02:28.
you want to work in different countries. I chose to live here | :02:29. | :02:33.
since 1991. I really love this country. I want to be able to travel | :02:34. | :02:38.
between what used to be my home country and here, and they want you | :02:39. | :02:42.
to be able to do so. How will this affect me? I don't know yet, I don't | :02:43. | :02:49.
think anybody knows. I want to think I'm still welcomed in this country, | :02:50. | :02:53.
I will be able to stay. My main worry is for you. I am married to a | :02:54. | :03:00.
British person, I carry a British passport, so I'm fine. I'm worried | :03:01. | :03:03.
about you and your future and the future of this country we live in | :03:04. | :03:07.
and love. Some people are worried about what going to happen in the | :03:08. | :03:13.
future, but it also to important to save people are happy with the | :03:14. | :03:17.
result because they think it means a better future for children living in | :03:18. | :03:21.
the UK. The people in charge of the Leave campaign say no matter what | :03:22. | :03:25.
happens, people from EU countries will be able to live here in the | :03:26. | :03:27.
future. And the result of the referendum | :03:28. | :03:28.
is big news in Scotland as well. Morning, Ricky. We are in Scotland | :03:29. | :03:43.
this morning. It is big news, because the Hall of the UK -- whole | :03:44. | :03:51.
of the UK voted to leave, but Scotland voted to leave. Should | :03:52. | :03:54.
Scotland become an independent country? Could become separate to | :03:55. | :03:59.
the UK? Joining me here are a couple of kids from the local school. What | :04:00. | :04:04.
do you think? We should become independent because it will be | :04:05. | :04:08.
better for the future and give us more money. What did you think? | :04:09. | :04:13.
Should there be an independent Scotland? I don't think so, because | :04:14. | :04:17.
if we become independent and try to rejoin the EU, they could say no and | :04:18. | :04:23.
we could be left on our own. What did you think of that result? I | :04:24. | :04:28.
think we should have stayed in because there was a lot of promises | :04:29. | :04:34.
made it we left the U, which we did come and they don't think we will | :04:35. | :04:39.
need all those promises. What did you think? We should have stayed in | :04:40. | :04:45.
because if we didn't, if we did, we could have money. It will hit a | :04:46. | :04:50.
financial crisis we can have something to fall back on. Very good | :04:51. | :04:54.
point made. That's it from me, back to you, Ricky. | :04:55. | :04:56.
Now we're well into the knockout stages of Euro 2016. | :04:57. | :05:00.
Yesterday, host nation France joined Wales, Germany, Poland, | :05:01. | :05:02.
Portugal and Belgium in the final eight. | :05:03. | :05:05.
Tonight, it's the turn of England - who take on Iceland. | :05:06. | :05:07.
Jenny is in south of the France now. | :05:08. | :05:15.
I am at NICE. England will battle it out with Iceland for a place in the | :05:16. | :05:27.
quarterfinals. It is a must win game, love not performed so good so | :05:28. | :05:32.
far. They finished second and will be eager to put in a good | :05:33. | :05:36.
performance tonight. Their opponents, Iceland, the smallest | :05:37. | :05:39.
nation by population to ever qualify for the Euros, but it does not mean | :05:40. | :05:44.
it will be an easy game. They will be a tough side break down, and they | :05:45. | :05:50.
have a star player from Swansea. A quick start, it'll be the third | :05:51. | :05:54.
meeting between the two nations in their history. England have never | :05:55. | :05:59.
lost, the last game they played was in 2004, England 186-0 comments at | :06:00. | :06:04.
the pressure is on. It Iceland win, it should be one of the upsets -- | :06:05. | :06:14.
England one 6-0. The question is, can they live up to expectations? | :06:15. | :06:24.
