First to Japan where rescue teams are carrying out searches

for more people who became trapped on a volcano that erupted suddenly

Helicopters and teams of people have been helping men,

women and some children down from Mount Ontake and have been

wearing protective clothing to stop them being covered in ash.

It's a very rare event and only happened once before 30 years ago.

Now many people have been rescued unhurt.

Next up, we've been waiting for months, but finally a date's

been fixed for the attempt to land a satellite onto a comet over 500

On Wednesday, 12th November, the satellite which is already

orbiting the comet will drop a small robot from a height

Vets say they're worried about a growing number of pets,

like dogs and cats, that are being brought into the UK

from abroad without the proper injections to keep them healthy.

Transport laws were relaxed almost three years ago, but there are

concerns that some owners haven't had their pets properly checked out.

Do you think we had the same energy at the Commonwealth Games?

I think the Commonwealth Games confirmed that.

Let us talk about Britain and whether children are still

getting opportunities to get involved in sport.

If I was to say it was a lot better, you'd get people saying,

There has been massive development for 2012.

So many sports facilities are accessible for everyone.

I am confident that things are a lot better.

The fact that you have got kids with an impairment now not always

in special schools but in ordinary schools. As long as the schools are

teaching sport for everybody and not having the kid in the wheelchair

do. What advice would you give to a young person who feels like they

would like to take up wheelchair basketball or another sport?

First of all, if you are not having fun with the sport but maybe

someone else has said you should do, find another sport.

Sport has got to be about having fun.

If you want, experience team sport because for me there is nothing

one of golf's biggest and most famous tournaments, the Ryder Cup.

It's their third success against the USA.

Kenya's Dennis Kimetto managed to run 26.2 miles in two hours,

It's the second year running that the world record has been broken

in Berlin after another Kenyan broke the record last year.
