The 11-year-old who's pirouetting to a new school.

:00:13.:00:17.

And you give us your X Factor reviews.

:00:18.:00:23.

First up, the Prime Minister David Cameron joined

:00:24.:00:26.

other European leaders last night to agree further restrictions against

:00:27.:00:28.

Russia in an attempt to tackle the on-going crisis in Ukraine.

:00:29.:00:35.

close to full-scale war after months of unrest between the Ukrainian army

:00:36.:00:39.

Russia says its forces are not supporting pro-Russian rebels there.

:00:40.:00:45.

The Prime Minister David Cameron says the situation is "worrying".

:00:46.:00:49.

We have to show resolve and resilience in demonstrating to

:00:50.:00:52.

Russia that if she carries on this way, the relationship

:00:53.:00:55.

between Europe and Russia, Britain and Russia, America and

:00:56.:00:57.

And you can head over to the Newsround website to find out

:00:58.:01:08.

Now, many of you are getting ready to head back to school

:01:09.:01:14.

But one schoolgirl from Barry, in Wales is getting ready for

:01:15.:01:18.

Maisie French is 11, and she's spinning off to the

:01:19.:01:22.

Lots of kids love to dance at the weekends or after school,

:01:23.:01:30.

but for Maisie, dancing is going to be her school life,

:01:31.:01:32.

her home life and her whole life from next week and she can't wait!

:01:33.:01:44.

I feel really happy when I don't. It is like expressing everything. --

:01:45.:01:53.

I feel happy when I dance. Maisie has been dancing

:01:54.:01:55.

since she was two at her local But now she's won a place

:01:56.:01:59.

at the world famous Maisie had to audition

:02:00.:02:03.

for the place at the school and she beat thousands of other dancers to

:02:04.:02:07.

become one of just 12 lucky ones. The Royal Ballet School was featured

:02:08.:02:10.

in the film Billy Elliot, and Prima Ballerina Darcy Bussell is

:02:11.:02:13.

a former pupil. But a few months ago, Maisie started

:02:14.:02:15.

the difficult and scary audition I went into the audition, and

:02:16.:02:28.

everyone there was amazing. Of the older girls there, they said, just

:02:29.:02:36.

smile and enjoy it. Stretching, stretching.

:02:37.:02:38.

Maisie is going to have to leave her mum and her friends at home to go to

:02:39.:02:42.

school, which her mum says will be hard, but Maisie is excited to leap

:02:43.:02:46.

down to London and make her dreams of becoming a dancer come true.

:02:47.:02:49.

The X Factor hit our TV screens last night,

:02:50.:02:55.

Cheryl Cole was back on the judging panel.

:02:56.:03:00.

Some contestants also went to some very strange lengths to get

:03:01.:03:03.

This lady tried to butter up the judges

:03:04.:03:06.

by making them a massive cake and a load of Chinese food so they'd put

:03:07.:03:10.

Unfortunately, it didn't do the trick.

:03:11.:03:13.

And this contestant thought it would be a good idea to dress up

:03:14.:03:16.

as Cheryl, but the judges saw right through it.

:03:17.:03:19.

It's the 11th series of the talent show, and it's

:03:20.:03:23.

certainly got you talking, and you've been giving us your reviews

:03:24.:03:25.

Izzy loved it and is glad Simon and Louis are back

:03:26.:03:30.

Libby in Bath says Mel B adds an edge to the panel, and thinks she

:03:31.:03:36.

"I'd rather watch Doctor Who, to be honest.

:03:37.:03:42.

"The X Factor is always the same in my opinion."

:03:43.:03:44.

Finally, he's famous for tackling some of the deadliest creatures

:03:45.:03:49.

on the planet and he'll soon be taking on Strictly Come Dancing.

:03:50.:03:53.

But Steve Backshall's just completed another challenge -

:03:54.:03:56.

a deadly mission from the Arctic all the way to the Antarctic.

:03:57.:03:59.

He caught up with Martin to tell him all about it.

:04:00.:04:05.

Steve, tell us about your new programme.

:04:06.:04:09.

It is called Deadly Pole To Pole. We're travelling from the Arctic all

:04:10.:04:12.

the way to the Antarctic and finding deadly animals all the way.

:04:13.:04:22.

Started way up in the Arctic Circle.

:04:23.:04:24.

There are few places on the planet that are as exciting.

:04:25.:04:26.

Most of the animals there haven't seen human beings.

:04:27.:04:30.

On a beach, penguins will come over to you and sit on

:04:31.:04:34.

your lap and stand meters away from you, thinking, "What are you?"

:04:35.:04:44.

Believe it or not, filming

:04:45.:04:48.

in extremely cold environments is easier than things like rainforests

:04:49.:04:50.

because cameras and equipment hate the

:04:51.:04:55.

One of the most intense moments for me was with the jaguar.

:04:56.:05:06.

They have been the one animal I have not been able to film.

:05:07.:05:10.

15 years I have been searching for this animal.

:05:11.:05:12.

Finally, in Brazil, after four days of searching, tracking, we finally

:05:13.:05:16.

saw our first one, and all of us were this close to breaking down

:05:17.:05:19.

I can't believe it! My first ever jaguar!

:05:20.:05:28.

What makes this different to other shows?

:05:29.:05:30.

It has been one big expedition, and so it had a sense of quest

:05:31.:05:34.

and journey to bring it to conclusion at Antarctica

:05:35.:05:38.

That was one of the highlights of my career.

:05:39.:05:44.

That's all from me, but you do not want to miss Newsround tomorrow

:05:45.:05:48.

morning, because Ricky has been to Cambridge in search of possibly

:05:49.:05:51.
