David Cameron faces calls to release more details

:00:00.:00:07.

In the wake of the Panama Papers, the Prime Minister's published

:00:08.:00:13.

a summary of his tax returns - but the Labour leader

:00:14.:00:16.

I want to see the papers. We need to know what he has actually returned

:00:17.:00:29.

as a tax return. We need to know why he put this money overseas in the

:00:30.:00:30.

first place. With a statement before

:00:31.:00:32.

parliament due tomorrow - we'll be asking how far the push

:00:33.:00:34.

for transparency will go. Also tonight: A huge fire kills

:00:35.:00:37.

more than 100 people at a temple in India -

:00:38.:00:40.

after a firework display goes wrong. Macedonian police push back

:00:41.:00:47.

against migrants trying to cross the Greek border -

:00:48.:00:51.

hundreds are tear gassed. The Duchess of Cambridge proves

:00:52.:00:58.

to be a hit on the first And American Jordan Speith moves

:00:59.:01:00.

closer to his dream of back-to-back David Cameron is facing calls

:01:01.:01:05.

from Labour to release further information about his financial

:01:06.:01:32.

affairs, after his tax returns were published in the wake

:01:33.:01:35.

of the Panama papers. Mr Cameron become the first

:01:36.:01:38.

Prime Minister to make such a move. He was followed by Scottish First

:01:39.:01:40.

Minister Nicola Sturgeon, who has joined other

:01:41.:01:43.

Scottish party leaders As our political correspondent

:01:44.:01:45.

Carole Walker reports, there is now pressure for more

:01:46.:01:49.

transparency from politicians - David Cameron has admitted it's

:01:50.:01:52.

not been a great week, under relentless pressure

:01:53.:02:00.

over his financial affairs. Now, he's given us more detail

:02:01.:02:04.

on his income and taxes than any With some demonstrating their anger

:02:05.:02:07.

at his handling of the affair, he's published his accountant's

:02:08.:02:14.

summary of his finances Last year his income

:02:15.:02:16.

was just over ?200,000. ?140,000 of that was his

:02:17.:02:23.

salary as Prime Minister. He received nearly ?47,000

:02:24.:02:27.

from renting out his London home. We already knew he had

:02:28.:02:33.

sold his shares in the Blairmore offshore fund, set up by his late

:02:34.:02:36.

father, for ?30,000 before But the documents show he also sold

:02:37.:02:40.

other shares in 2010, worth ?72,000, The Labour leader said there

:02:41.:02:49.

were more unanswered questions. We need to know what he's actually

:02:50.:02:55.

returned as a tax return. We need to know why he put this

:02:56.:03:01.

money overseas in the first place and whether he made anything out

:03:02.:03:05.

of it or not before 2010, These are questions

:03:06.:03:09.

that he must answer. The Prime Minister has as you say

:03:10.:03:14.

now taken the unprecedented I think the people who

:03:15.:03:16.

definitely need to do this are the Prime Minister,

:03:17.:03:21.

as he has done, and the Leader I know Jeremy Corbyn has said he's

:03:22.:03:24.

going to do it. There are questions too

:03:25.:03:27.

about inheritance tax. We already knew David Cameron

:03:28.:03:31.

received ?300,000 Now it's emerged his mother gave him

:03:32.:03:33.

a further gift of ?200,000. Downing Street said this

:03:34.:03:39.

was to share the inheritance and his brother, and strongly denied

:03:40.:03:45.

the suggestion it was done to avoid That's where the state encourage

:03:46.:03:49.

you to behave in a certain way and you follow it

:03:50.:03:59.

and you get a tax benefit. Isas, pensions, inheritance tax

:04:00.:04:02.

planning, are planning, not avoidance, and we need to be

:04:03.:04:04.

very careful how we treat this. This afternoon Scotland's First

:04:05.:04:09.

Minister Nicola Sturgeon Scotland's other political leaders

:04:10.:04:13.

have already done so. It shows her only income

:04:14.:04:17.

is her salary of almost ?105,000. It's for every politician

:04:18.:04:23.

to make their own decision, but I think certainly

:04:24.:04:25.

those who lead parties, First Minister, Prime Minister,

:04:26.:04:28.

I think there is a good argument that we should do that

:04:29.:04:32.

and I certainly am happy Now there is pressure for other

:04:33.:04:34.

senior ministers to publish details of their finances too,

:04:35.:04:39.

and for the government to do more to ensure the wealthy

:04:40.:04:42.

pay their fair share of tax. And Carole joins me now

:04:43.:04:48.

from Downing Street. What did we learn today and where

:04:49.:05:01.

does this go from here? Well, tomorrow, the Prime Minister will be

:05:02.:05:05.

making that statement in Parliament, setting out the government's whole

:05:06.:05:09.

approach to this, at the end of what has been a momentous week for him.

:05:10.:05:15.

At the end of it, he has set a huge bar for standards of transparency at

:05:16.:05:19.

the top of British politics. Downing Street always knew that however much

:05:20.:05:22.

information they put out there, there would always be demands for

:05:23.:05:26.

more and we have seen some of that today. They will be hoping that now

:05:27.:05:30.

he can get onto the front foot, to talk about the measures the

:05:31.:05:34.

government have taken and the additional measures they are going

:05:35.:05:38.

to take to tackle tax evasion and tax avoiders. The Prime Minister

:05:39.:05:43.

will also come under pressure to do more to change the whole tax system,

:05:44.:05:48.

a system which Labour say is unfair, because the wealthy have options for

:05:49.:05:52.

reducing their tax bills which are not available for those at the other

:05:53.:05:56.

end of the scale. The challenge for David Cameron will be to convince

:05:57.:06:00.

the public that under his government the tax system is fair, and he is

:06:01.:06:04.

putting in place the measures which ensure that the rich do not get away

:06:05.:06:07.

without paying their fair share of tax. Carole Walker, thank you.

:06:08.:06:12.

More than 100 people have been killed in an explosion and fire

:06:13.:06:17.

at a temple in southern India - sparked by a

:06:18.:06:19.

It happened in Paravur in the state of Kerala, where thousands had

:06:20.:06:23.

Our correspondent Yogita Limaye's report contains flashing

:06:24.:06:26.

Then, a spark ignited a store of firecrackers.

:06:27.:06:47.

Witnesses say a part of the temple complex collapsed.

:06:48.:06:52.

It took hours for firemen to battle the blaze that followed,

:06:53.:06:56.

and pull out anyone they could find alive.

:06:57.:06:59.

Thousands had gathered to take part in the local festival.

:07:00.:07:04.

This man had travelled from a village

:07:05.:07:06.

He suffered injuries on his back and leg.

:07:07.:07:14.

TRANSLATION: One firecracker landed on the place where all the fireworks

:07:15.:07:17.

were stored, and suddenly there was a globe of fire.

:07:18.:07:20.

A building next to the temple collapsed.

:07:21.:07:24.

Concrete pieces flew off from it and hit me on my back.

:07:25.:07:27.

I could not move for half an hour until I was rescued.

:07:28.:07:30.

This is where people have been coming all through the day

:07:31.:07:33.

to find out if their loved ones are in this hospital or not.

:07:34.:07:37.

This medical facility is where the injured and the dead

:07:38.:07:40.

from the fire were first rushed to because it is closest

:07:41.:07:43.

to the temple, and it is perhaps the worst ever disaster

:07:44.:07:47.

this local hospital has ever had to deal with.

:07:48.:07:51.

But many didn't have a chance to escape.

:07:52.:07:53.

Some bodies were so badly hurt it has not

:07:54.:07:58.

India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, flew down to Kerala

:07:59.:08:05.

with a team of specialist doctors to treat the victims.

:08:06.:08:10.

TRANSLATION: The Indian government is completely with Kerala

:08:11.:08:13.

and its grieving families during this time of trouble.

:08:14.:08:17.

The incident is so horrendous, that it is difficult

:08:18.:08:19.

Local authorities have said the temple did not have permission

:08:20.:08:25.

Police in Macedonia used tear gas and stun grenades today to push back

:08:26.:08:37.

at migrants who tried to scale a fence on the Greek border.

:08:38.:08:41.

More than 11,000 people have been stranded at Idomeni on the Greek

:08:42.:08:44.

side of the border since Balkan closed off a key route

:08:45.:08:48.

Running away from the border they're desperate to cross.

:08:49.:08:57.

Migrants choke on tear gas and dodge rubber bullets.

:08:58.:09:02.

Some throw stones at the Macedonian police on the other side.

:09:03.:09:05.

Earlier, hundreds had gathered at the fence that separates

:09:06.:09:13.

Greece from Macedonia, and, they believe,

:09:14.:09:15.

them from the better future they came here for.

:09:16.:09:19.

They were responding to rumours that after weeks of closure, today,

:09:20.:09:22.

When they realised the rumours were false they tried

:09:23.:09:27.

TRANSLATION: Even before we reached the fence they started firing at us,

:09:28.:09:34.

They used tear gas and then they fired stun grenades

:09:35.:09:39.

Macedonian police deny firing rubber bullets, but said they used

:09:40.:09:46.

The wind brought tear gas fumes into this camp

:09:47.:09:53.

on the Greek side of the border, where more than 11,000

:09:54.:09:56.

Many of them, including small children, suffered breathing

:09:57.:10:00.

We treated around 200 people for tear gas.

:10:01.:10:06.

Mostly men, but also women and children under five years old.

:10:07.:10:11.

We also had some people come in with body pains and bruises.

:10:12.:10:20.

Greece has condemned the use of tear gas by Macedonian police

:10:21.:10:23.

Tonight, calm has been restored here as has what has become the grim

:10:24.:10:30.

normality as thousands sit and wait in the hope that Macedonia

:10:31.:10:35.

:10:36.:10:42.

Belgian prosecutors say the Islamist extremists,

:10:43.:10:46.

who carried out last month's attacks in Brussels, had originally been

:10:47.:10:49.

The man suspected of being the surviving bomber -

:10:50.:10:54.

Mohamed Abrini - is reported to have said the group changed their plans

:10:55.:10:57.

after realising police were closing in.

:10:58.:10:58.

Abrini was arrested in Brussels on Friday.

:10:59.:11:03.

A tractor driver has suffered serious injuries in a train crash

:11:04.:11:05.

135 passengers were on the train at the time -

:11:06.:11:09.

half a dozen were treated for minor injuries.

:11:10.:11:13.

The train was heading to Cambridge from Norwich when it collided

:11:14.:11:15.

with the tractor on the crossing just outside Thetford.

:11:16.:11:20.

Around 9,000 pupils in Edinburgh are unlikely to return to school

:11:21.:11:23.

at the end of the Easter holidays tomorrow morning -

:11:24.:11:26.

because of the sudden closure of 17 schools on safety grounds.

:11:27.:11:31.

They were all built by the same private finance contractor

:11:32.:11:34.

and serious structural issues have been uncovered at one of them.

:11:35.:11:38.

Our Scotland correspondent James Shaw is in Edinburgh

:11:39.:11:40.

What are the chances of them getting back to school soon? Well, we really

:11:41.:11:54.

do not know that at this point. That is for the Council and the

:11:55.:11:56.

construction firm to decide when these buildings are safe. But

:11:57.:12:01.

clearly, it is a serious problem for a lot of parents in Edinburgh.

:12:02.:12:05.

Because the council made the decision so late on Friday night,

:12:06.:12:09.

they did not have time to put in place alternative provisions.

:12:10.:12:14.

Parents are left wondering what they will do with their children tomorrow

:12:15.:12:19.

morning. The council and the company working on solutions. There be some

:12:20.:12:23.

alternative provision on Tuesday, but meanwhile, an anxious time for a

:12:24.:12:28.

lot of peoples who are expecting exams in the next few days and

:12:29.:12:32.

weeks. Meanwhile, the Scottish Education Secretary Angela

:12:33.:12:36.

Constance, she has written to all of Scotland's councils, advising them

:12:37.:12:40.

that they should do all the checks they need to do to make sure their

:12:41.:12:43.

school buildings are safe. Thank you.

:12:44.:12:45.

The BBC has found leaflets in a London mosque calling

:12:46.:12:48.

for the killing of Ahmadi Muslims - a sect of Islam regarded

:12:49.:12:51.

by some Muslims as being outside their faith.

:12:52.:12:53.

There's growing concern about anti Ahmadi prejudice in the UK

:12:54.:12:56.

after the murder of the Glasgow shopkeeper Asad Shah -

:12:57.:12:59.

claimed to have been on religious grounds.

:13:00.:13:02.

The leaflets found in the London mosque

:13:03.:13:04.

have surfaced before - in 2011 - though the mosque's

:13:05.:13:07.

trustee has again insisted to the BBC that he knew

:13:08.:13:09.

Our religious affairs correspondent Caroline Wyatt reports.

:13:10.:13:15.

Asad Shah, filmed last August, behind the counter of the shop

:13:16.:13:18.

in Glasgow he and his family ran for many years.

:13:19.:13:22.

He was killed in March, a killing that may have been

:13:23.:13:25.

Asad Shah was an Ahmadi Muslim, a sect of Islam which has

:13:26.:13:31.

suffered persecution in Pakistan and elsewhere.

:13:32.:13:35.

Two mosques in the city of Lahore or under attack.

:13:36.:13:43.

Two mosques in the city of Lahore are under attack.

:13:44.:13:46.

It was it was five minutes or six minutes, then we had some gunshots.

:13:47.:13:49.

Lutfer Rehman is a Ahmadi Muslim who now lives in London.

:13:50.:13:52.

He survived an attack in Lahore when gunmen killed over 90

:13:53.:13:54.

There have been leaflets handed out to different people,

:13:55.:14:20.

different clerics inciting in their Friday sermons,

:14:21.:14:24.

not happened here yet, but if it carries on like this,

:14:25.:14:27.

But hatred against the Ahmadi sect is not new here.

:14:28.:14:34.

about leaflets written in Pakistan about a missionary group

:14:35.:14:36.

They gave his mosque's address as their London base.

:14:37.:14:39.

At the time, Toaha Qureshi, awarded an MBE for his work

:14:40.:14:46.

We are very angry and furious about that.

:14:47.:14:49.

We have contacted the authorities in Pakistan about our name

:14:50.:14:56.

with this organisation that is promoting hate.

:14:57.:15:00.

The BBC has learned of further connections

:15:01.:15:02.

Charity Commission documents for the UK-based charity list

:15:03.:15:18.

and four of the trustees are also on the board of the mosque.

:15:19.:15:21.

If you look over here, the mosque itself is still

:15:22.:15:23.

listed as the overseas address of the movement.

:15:24.:15:26.

We have discovered these leaflets inside the mosque that openly

:15:27.:15:29.

advocate the killing of Ahmadis who will not convert to mainstream

:15:30.:15:31.

So we asked Toaha Qureshi about the latest leaflets

:15:32.:15:38.

These pamphlets are not produced by our charity at all.

:15:39.:15:46.

This is what I am saying and what I said in 2011.

:15:47.:15:49.

These pamphlets have been produced maliciously by someone else.

:15:50.:15:55.

So does he admit any link between the mosque

:15:56.:15:57.

There is a link that we have, when we need some guidance

:15:58.:16:02.

on a particular issue, then we seek advice from them.

:16:03.:16:07.

In Glasgow, as friends and neighbours continued to mourn

:16:08.:16:10.

the death of Asad Shah, some feel the religious intolerance

:16:11.:16:13.

towards Ahmadis seen elsewhere in the world,

:16:14.:16:16.

And you can hear more on that story in "The Deobandis" on Radio 4

:16:17.:16:27.

With all the sport - here's Ore Oduba at

:16:28.:16:32.

Jordan Spieth is closing in on another historic win

:16:33.:16:39.

at the Masters golf, after a near faultless

:16:40.:16:40.

12 months ago, the American took the title, equalling the lowest-ever

:16:41.:16:45.

Should he clinch the green jacket again tonight,

:16:46.:16:49.

Spieth would join an elite club of back-to-back winners,

:16:50.:16:52.

18 holes from history. But if he was feeling any nerves, he was not

:16:53.:17:08.

showing them, as Jordan Spieth set about building on his 1-shot lead.

:17:09.:17:15.

As for Rory McIlroy, from five adrift, he had to start well, but

:17:16.:17:21.

did not. A string of early errors adding to his frustration. But an

:17:22.:17:26.

English challenge was brewing. Sheffield's Danny Willett edging

:17:27.:17:30.

right into contention, while Lee Westwood, still in search of that

:17:31.:17:35.

elusive first major, was also in the hunt. There was disappointment for

:17:36.:17:39.

Bernhard Langer, at 58, hoping to become the oldest ever winner, but

:17:40.:17:44.

his hopes seem to have vanished. Instead, it is the man 36 years his

:17:45.:17:50.

junior and who is stealing the show. Jordan Spieth, seemingly inspired

:17:51.:17:54.

and opening up a four shot lead. He will take some stopping. But no

:17:55.:17:59.

doubting the shots of the day so far. Three holes in one, including

:18:00.:18:04.

this quite extraordinary effort from Louis is to lose and, with a little

:18:05.:18:10.

help from his partner's ball. Out of contention from the title but not a

:18:11.:18:19.

bad consolation prize. -- Louis is Ted is on.

:18:20.:18:22.

And here's the latest scorecard at Augusta.

:18:23.:18:31.

England's Danny Willett is the closest rival to Jordan Spieth.

:18:32.:18:35.

Match of the Day 2 and - in Scotland - Sportscene follow

:18:36.:18:38.

So if you don't want to know today's football results, time to look away.

:18:39.:18:43.

Leicester City are now just three wins away from the

:18:44.:18:45.

Jamie Vardy with both goals in a 2-0 win over

:18:46.:18:50.

The victory guarantees Leicester Champions League football next

:18:51.:18:58.

season. Second-placed Tottenham kept

:18:59.:19:01.

the pressure on the leaders with a 3-0 win over

:19:02.:19:03.

Manchester United. Spurs are seven points behind

:19:04.:19:04.

with five games to play. Liverpool were 4-1 winners over

:19:05.:19:06.

Stoke. And three English clubs will contest

:19:07.:19:08.

the semi-finals of rugby's European Champions Cup

:19:09.:19:10.

after Leicester Tigers thrashed They join Wasps and Saracens
