David Cameron faces calls to release more information about his finances.

:00:00.:00:08.

The Prime Minister has published a summary of six years worth

:00:09.:00:13.

of tax returns in the wake of the Panama Papers but

:00:14.:00:15.

the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn says he should go further.

:00:16.:00:21.

With Parliament returning tomorrow, we'll be exploring how far

:00:22.:00:42.

the pressure for more openness will go.

:00:43.:00:43.

A fireworks display sparks a huge fire at a temple in southern India -

:00:44.:00:48.

more than 100 people have been killed.

:00:49.:00:49.

Belgian prosecutors say the Brussels bombers had been planning to carry

:00:50.:00:52.

Leicester stay on course for the Premier League title

:00:53.:01:07.

Hitting it off - the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge show

:01:08.:01:11.

off their cricketing skills on their tour of India.

:01:12.:01:27.

David Cameron is facing calls from Labour to release further

:01:28.:01:31.

information about his financial affairs, after his tax returns

:01:32.:01:34.

were published in the wake of the Panama Papers.

:01:35.:01:39.

Mr Cameron became the first prime minister to make such a move.

:01:40.:01:42.

He was followed by Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon,

:01:43.:01:44.

who has joined other Scottish party leaders

:01:45.:01:47.

As our political correspondent Carole Walker reports there is now

:01:48.:01:53.

pressure for more transparency from politicians -

:01:54.:01:54.

David Cameron has admitted it has not been a great week after

:01:55.:02:09.

relentless pressure over his financial affairs. Now he has given

:02:10.:02:14.

more income on his taxes than any other previous Prime Minister. With

:02:15.:02:18.

some demonstrating his anger over his handling of the affair, he has

:02:19.:02:23.

published a summary of his finances going back six years. Last year, his

:02:24.:02:30.

income was just over ?200,000. ?140,000 of that was his salary as

:02:31.:02:35.

Prime Minister. He received nearly ?47,000 from renting out his London

:02:36.:02:39.

home. We already knew he had sold shares in a fund set up by his late

:02:40.:02:46.

father before he became Prime Minister. But the documents show he

:02:47.:02:50.

also sold other shares worth ?72,000 at the time, and there are no

:02:51.:02:55.

details on this. The Labour leader said there are more unanswered

:02:56.:03:00.

questions. I want to see the papers. We need to see what he returned as a

:03:01.:03:04.

tax return. We need to know why he put this money overseas in the first

:03:05.:03:09.

place, and whether he made anything out of it or not before 2010 when he

:03:10.:03:15.

became Prime Minister. These are questions he must answer. The Prime

:03:16.:03:19.

Minister has now taken unprecedented step of more disclosure. I think the

:03:20.:03:26.

people you need to do this other Prime Minister and Jeremy Corbyn. I

:03:27.:03:30.

do think he has done it yet. We already knew David Cameron had

:03:31.:03:34.

received ?300,000 from his father's will when he died in 2010. Now it

:03:35.:03:41.

has emerged as mother gave him a further ?200,000. Downing Street

:03:42.:03:44.

said this was to shed the inheritance more fairly between him

:03:45.:03:48.

and his brother, and strongly denied the suggestion it was done to avoid

:03:49.:03:53.

paying inheritance tax. One financial expert agreed. This is tax

:03:54.:03:58.

planning. This is where the state encourages you to behave in a

:03:59.:04:05.

certain way. ISAs, inheritance tax planning is planning and not

:04:06.:04:10.

avoidance. This afternoon, Scotland's First Minister Nicola

:04:11.:04:16.

Sturgeon published her tax return. It shows her only income is her

:04:17.:04:23.

salary of almost ?105,000. It is for every politician to make their

:04:24.:04:28.

indecision. Certainly those who lead parties, there is a good argument

:04:29.:04:32.

that we should do that and I am happy to make that commitment. Now

:04:33.:04:36.

there is pressure for other senior ministers to publish details of

:04:37.:04:40.

their finances as well. And for the government to do more to ensure the

:04:41.:04:43.

wealthy pay their fair share of tax. Our political correspondent

:04:44.:04:46.

Carole Walker is in Downing Street. We have had days of debate along

:04:47.:04:55.

these lines. Where do you think this issue goes next? We know the Prime

:04:56.:05:00.

Minister will be making a statement in the Commons tomorrow, and Downing

:05:01.:05:03.

Street will undoubtedly be hoping that having put out that

:05:04.:05:06.

unprecedented amount of information, he will be able to get onto the

:05:07.:05:11.

front foot to talk about what the government is doing, to investigate

:05:12.:05:14.

some of the serious allegations about tax abuse, and to crack down

:05:15.:05:20.

on some of the tax loopholes which still exist. Downing Street always

:05:21.:05:23.

knew that however much information they put out, there would always be

:05:24.:05:28.

demands for more. We have seen some of that today. There is now a bigger

:05:29.:05:34.

debate about whether the tax system is fair, when you have a system

:05:35.:05:37.

whereby the wealthy have options available for them to reduce their

:05:38.:05:41.

tax, which are not necessarily open to those at the other end of the

:05:42.:05:46.

scale. Now that David Cameron's personal wealth is out there for all

:05:47.:05:50.

to see, emblazoned across all the newspapers, he will also come under

:05:51.:05:53.

pressure to demonstrate that he is ready to address the much wider

:05:54.:05:58.

questions. Thank you. More than 100 people have been

:05:59.:06:01.

killed in an explosion and fire at a temple in southern India -

:06:02.:06:04.

thought to have been sparked by a fireworks

:06:05.:06:06.

display that went wrong. It happened in Paravur

:06:07.:06:08.

in the state of Kerala, where thousands of people had

:06:09.:06:11.

gathered for a festival. Our correspondent Yogita Limaye's

:06:12.:06:13.

report contains flashing It was meant to be a celebration. A

:06:14.:06:31.

traditional fire works display. Then, a spark ignited a store of

:06:32.:06:41.

firecrackers. Witnesses say a part of the temple complex collapsed. It

:06:42.:06:49.

took hours for firemen to battle the blaze that followed, and pull-out

:06:50.:06:54.

anyone they could find alive. Thousands had gathered to take part

:06:55.:07:00.

in the festival. This man had travelled from a village nearly 30

:07:01.:07:03.

kilometres away. He suffered injuries on his back and leg.

:07:04.:07:11.

TRANSLATION: One firecracker landed on the place where all the fireworks

:07:12.:07:14.

were stored, and suddenly there was a globe of fire. A building next to

:07:15.:07:19.

the temple collapsed. Concrete pieces flew off from it and hit me

:07:20.:07:26.

on my back. I could not move for half an hour until I was rescued.

:07:27.:07:29.

But many did not have a chance to escape. More than 100 are dead. Some

:07:30.:07:34.

bodies were so badly burned it has not been possible to identify them.

:07:35.:07:38.

This is where people have been coming all through the day to find

:07:39.:07:42.

out if their loved ones are in this hospital or not. This medical

:07:43.:07:45.

facility is where the injured and the dead from the fire were first

:07:46.:07:49.

rushed to because it is closest to the temple, and it is perhaps the

:07:50.:07:53.

worst ever disaster this local hospital has ever had to deal with.

:07:54.:07:59.

India's Prime Minister flew down to Carol with a team of specialist

:08:00.:08:04.

doctors to treat the victims -- chorale. TRANSLATION: The Indian

:08:05.:08:14.

government is completely with Kerala and the families in the time of

:08:15.:08:19.

trouble. It is difficult to express this in words. It has been said the

:08:20.:08:27.

temple did not have permission to hold the fireworks display. An

:08:28.:08:28.

enquiry has been opened. Prosecutors in Belgium say

:08:29.:08:31.

the Islamist extremists, who carried out attacks in Brussels

:08:32.:08:32.

last month, were originally plotting They say the group changed its plan

:08:33.:08:35.

and targeted Brussels after realising that

:08:36.:08:38.

police were closing in. Our correspondent Damian Grammaticas

:08:39.:08:40.

is in the Belgian capital. How much is emerging from the

:08:41.:08:50.

investigation? This was the key revelation today, that the

:08:51.:08:54.

prosecutors came out and said that they believed the group that

:08:55.:08:58.

attacked Brussels were actually planning to attack Paris. What the

:08:59.:09:02.

prosecutors said were that group, is a prized by the speed of the

:09:03.:09:07.

progress of the investigation into their activities, took an urgent

:09:08.:09:11.

decision to change their target and switch it to Brussels instead.

:09:12.:09:14.

Prosecutors say they have numerous reasons to believe that. We do not

:09:15.:09:19.

know exactly what they are but it is possibly because of the man who is

:09:20.:09:23.

in custody now, who has admitted to being one of the airport bombers,

:09:24.:09:28.

Mohamed Abrini. There was a police raid here a week before the Brussels

:09:29.:09:36.

attacks. The gun battle there, a couple of men escaped and one of

:09:37.:09:38.

those, Salah Abdeslam, was one of the Paris attackers who was

:09:39.:09:41.

arrested. A few days later, Brussels was struck. The French Prime

:09:42.:09:45.

Minister said it reminded everyone of the threat facing Europe. Thank

:09:46.:09:47.

you. A tractor driver has suffered

:09:48.:09:49.

serious injuries in a train crash 135 passengers were

:09:50.:09:51.

on the train at the time - half a dozen were treated

:09:52.:09:55.

for minor injuries. The train was heading to Cambridge

:09:56.:09:57.

from Norwich when it collided with the tractor on the crossing

:09:58.:10:00.

just outside Thetford. Police in Macedonia have used tear

:10:01.:10:08.

gas and stun grenades to disperse migrants who tried to scale a fence

:10:09.:10:11.

at the Greek border. More than 11,000 people have been

:10:12.:10:13.

stranded on the Greek side since Balkan countries closed off

:10:14.:10:16.

a key route to northern Europe. The charity Medecins Sans Frontiers

:10:17.:10:19.

says it's treated 300 people, mainly for the effects

:10:20.:10:21.

of inhaling tear gas. Around 9,000 pupils in Edinburgh

:10:22.:10:26.

will be unable to return to school at the end of the Easter holidays

:10:27.:10:31.

tomorrow - because of the sudden closure of 17

:10:32.:10:33.

schools on safety grounds. All were built by the same private

:10:34.:10:38.

finance contractor and serious structural issues have been

:10:39.:10:40.

uncovered at one of them. Our Scotland correspondent

:10:41.:10:43.

James Shaw is outside So when can the children

:10:44.:10:45.

expect to go back? Well, what I can tell you is there

:10:46.:10:58.

is definitely a sense of urgency about dealing with this problem. It

:10:59.:11:04.

was only about half an hour ago that work then left this site having

:11:05.:11:08.

worked on it all day. The difficulty for the Council as they feel they

:11:09.:11:13.

need to have full structural surveys of all 17 schools before they can be

:11:14.:11:19.

sure that they are safe. Of course, that causes huge problems for

:11:20.:11:23.

parents, but more typically for pupils, some of whom have important

:11:24.:11:28.

exams in the coming days and weeks. The council say simply that safety

:11:29.:11:33.

has to come first. The Scotland Education Secretary has written to

:11:34.:11:36.

all Scotland's council is now saying they should check that their

:11:37.:11:40.

buildings are safe as well. Thank you.

:11:41.:11:42.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have spent the day in Mumbai,

:11:43.:11:45.

at the start of a week-long tour of India and Bhutan.

:11:46.:11:48.

They paid their respects to the victims of the city's 2008

:11:49.:11:51.

terrorist attacks, visited a slum, and attended a Bollywood gala.

:11:52.:11:54.

Our royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell is

:11:55.:11:56.

His report contains some flashing images.

:11:57.:12:02.

The best way to experience India's rich variety

:12:03.:12:04.

Within hours of arriving in Mumbai, William and Catherine were visiting

:12:05.:12:10.

one of the city's slum areas known as The Watertank.

:12:11.:12:16.

They squeezed through narrow alleyways

:12:17.:12:17.

Yards away, the daily life of the community

:12:18.:12:21.

In a public recreation area in the centre of the city,

:12:22.:12:27.

they joined activities with street children who are being helped

:12:28.:12:30.

There was a run in the park for Kate, taken in her stride,

:12:31.:12:37.

quite literally, despite the high-heeled wedge shoes.

:12:38.:12:40.

And then, in this cricket-mad country, a game.

:12:41.:12:42.

The bowler incidentally was cricket ace Sachin Tendulkar,

:12:43.:12:46.

belted for what might have been six had it not fallen into eager hands.

:12:47.:12:51.

To the rather obvious delight of William.

:12:52.:12:54.

A positive one, according to Mr Tendulkar.

:12:55.:13:00.

What a fantastic experience it was to meet

:13:01.:13:01.

And, you know, really humble, very, very simple.

:13:02.:13:14.

They took an open-top bus through the city to the hotel

:13:15.:13:17.

where they are staying, the Taj Mahal Palace.

:13:18.:13:21.

It was at this hotel in November 2008 that Al-Qaeda linked extremists

:13:22.:13:24.

At this hotel, and other attacks elsewhere in Mumbai,

:13:25.:13:30.

William and Catherine met some of the hotel staff

:13:31.:13:37.

who tried to protect guests when the attack happened.

:13:38.:13:41.

They laid a wreath in memory of the dead and in tribute

:13:42.:13:44.

This evening, a glittering gala dinner organised

:13:45.:13:47.

by the British High Commission for Bollywood stars

:13:48.:13:50.

Guests of honour, William and Catherine.

:13:51.:13:55.

The soft power of royalty, pursuing British interests in India.

:13:56.:14:00.

A country which was once part of Britain's empire is now

:14:01.:14:02.

a considerable and growing economic power in its own right,

:14:03.:14:06.

and all of this is part of Britain's effort to court it.

:14:07.:14:11.

In a speech, William is expected to pay tribute to modern-day India,

:14:12.:14:15.

a nation which the couple's officials say will play a major

:14:16.:14:18.

With all the sport - here's Ore Oduba at

:14:19.:14:28.

Leicester City are just three wins away from lifting the Premier League

:14:29.:14:34.

trophy after a 2-0 victory over relegation-threatened Sunderland.

:14:35.:14:37.

Second-placed Tottenham kept up the pressure, thanks to a 3-0 win

:14:38.:14:40.

But the title is Leicester's to lose as Patrick Gearey reports.

:14:41.:14:50.

At Leicester City, you can understand the big headphones.

:14:51.:14:56.

Anything to drown out the hype and expectation that surrounds them.

:14:57.:14:59.

Their opponents, Sunderland, are fighting battles that Leicester were

:15:00.:15:05.

a year ago, desperate to avoid the drop. They looked the more likely to

:15:06.:15:09.

score but left the know, whatever pressure they come under, there is

:15:10.:15:13.

always a release, an outlet. His name is Jamie Vardy and that is his

:15:14.:15:17.

20th Premier League goal of the season. The league leaders were not

:15:18.:15:21.

flawless. Sunderland came at them but they were not fully coordinated.

:15:22.:15:26.

The best chance fell to Jack Rodwell in the final ten minutes. A miss

:15:27.:15:34.

which might matter at both ends of the table. Then Vardy was through

:15:35.:15:37.

for another two. Having tried so hard to stay calm, this win was

:15:38.:15:44.

significant. Leicester are close to something incredible and they know

:15:45.:15:47.

it. Second placed Tottenham had a lot of tracing to do and they were

:15:48.:15:53.

made to wait to get going. Kick-off was delayed because Manchester

:15:54.:15:56.

United's coach was stuck in traffic. Scoring was delayed until the 70th

:15:57.:16:07.

minute. Spurs scored twice. With Manchester United's defence

:16:08.:16:10.

seemingly on a comfort break after the long journey, Erik Lamela

:16:11.:16:14.

slipped in number three. A remarkable result for a remarkable

:16:15.:16:19.

season which might still get a remarkable finish.

:16:20.:16:22.

They're enjoying a good time in the city of Leicester.

:16:23.:16:24.

Leicester Tigers are the third English side to reach

:16:25.:16:26.

the semi-finals of rugby's European Champions Cup.

:16:27.:16:28.

They join Wasps and Saracens in the last four, after running

:16:29.:16:31.

in six tries in a 41 to 13 victory over Stade Francais -

:16:32.:16:34.

a record European loss for the French club.

:16:35.:16:36.

Britain's newest World Heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua

:16:37.:16:38.

has his eyes set on global domination, following his

:16:39.:16:40.

second round stoppage of American Charles Martin last night.

:16:41.:16:45.

The IBF title fight was just Joshua's 16th professional

:16:46.:16:47.

fight since winning Olympic gold in 2012.

:16:48.:16:49.

There is some flash photography in this report.

:16:50.:16:58.

Four years ago, he showed off an Olympic gold medal by the Thames.

:16:59.:17:03.

Anthony Joshua awoke this morning a world champion for the first time.

:17:04.:17:07.

But he still has time for everyone and he told me how this was just the

:17:08.:17:12.

beginning. Now I am at this Championship level at an early

:17:13.:17:15.

stage, that is the only way I will find out who I really am, if I keep

:17:16.:17:20.

on testing myself where I should be. The more I do this and keep on

:17:21.:17:26.

overcoming these hurdles, I will be a phenomenal force and hard to beat.

:17:27.:17:31.

The manner in which he won the world heavyweight title last night was

:17:32.:17:36.

almost too easy. Two punches finished off Charles Martin in two

:17:37.:17:41.

rounds. This was his 16th professional fight and by his own

:17:42.:17:48.

admission, he is still learning. Finally, I think boxing has a role

:17:49.:17:53.

model who has gone on to achieve great things. There are great people

:17:54.:17:57.

in boxing, but I feel like, even as a parent myself, if my children want

:17:58.:18:03.

to be like Anthony Joshua, I am quite pleased about that. What next?

:18:04.:18:08.

More belts and Tyson Fury who has dismissed Joshua as a ponderous

:18:09.:18:12.

body-builder is still holding two of them. I do not want to call it but

:18:13.:18:16.

it is a fight I feel like I could win when the time is right. Joshua

:18:17.:18:24.

could fill Wembley Stadium for his first title defence since the

:18:25.:18:27.

summer. He has come a long way in a short time. Boxing might have found

:18:28.:18:30.

its golden ticket. And American Jordan Speith tees

:18:31.:18:32.

off at Augusta in just over an hour's time,

:18:33.:18:35.

one round away from becoming just the fourth player to win

:18:36.:18:37.

back-to-back Masters titles. There's more throughout the evening

:18:38.:18:39.

on the BBC News Channel,

:18:40.:18:44.
