Good evening. A forensic team continued to search

the back garden of a flat in Kilmarnock today. It's part of a

breeze investigation launched yesterday into a missing Fife

teenager. Hazel North from Dunfermline last contacted her

family on the fourth March. Aileen Clarke reports. Earlier today

specialist dogs were brought in to help in the search of this property

income earner. This flat at the garden has been at the centre of

police efforts to find missing 19-year-old Hazel North. Originally

from Dunfermline she has also stayed in the Stranraer and was most

recently thought to be living here. Hazel, if you are out here and

listening to this please come forward and let us know you are OK

and also if there is anyone else with information about Hazel's

disappearance then please contact us. Did you find anything to get you

concern? We have carried out an intensive search of the house and

rear garden, as we would any missing person enquiry. We have not

uncovered anything that would give us any cause for concern at this

stage. The forensics team left the flat at lunchtime. Hazel's family is

anxious for clues to explain why she has not been in touch since the

phone call or text more than a fortnight ago to say she was going

to meet her boyfriend in Kilmarnock. As well as not being able to trace

Hazel, the police have yet to trace the man she was living here with.

The Scottish Labour leader, Johann Lamont, has accused the SNP of

running a "dishonest, deceptive and disgraceful" campaign for

independence. In her party conference address, Ms Lamont said

she wanted Scotland to lead the UK not to leave it. From the conference

in Perth, here's our political correspondent, Glenn Campbell.

Joanne Lambert used much of her speech to attack the SNP and its

plans for independence. Suggesting the Nationalists promised to expand

the detailed care after a guess for was a similar -- cynical con. The

Nationalists are running the most dishonest, deceptive and disgraceful

political campaign this country has ever seen. She accused the SNP of

being Osborne Max on taxation, contrasting their plans to cut

corporation tax after independence with the Labour promised to raise

the top rate of income tax. We are committed here in Scotland to

raising income tax paid by those earning over ?150,000 from 45% to

50%. She said Labour was committed to further devolution, to make

Holyrood what she called the powerhouse parliament. Nationalists

tell us to have the confidence to leave the United Kingdom. I say to

Scotland, have the confidence to lead the United Kingdom. This is the

conference were Joanne alarm and not only promised more powers for

Holyrood as in alternative to independence but promised to do all

in her power to remove the SNP from government at the next Holyrood

election. The reorganisation of the police in

Scotland into a single national force has already saved more than

?70 million, according to a report to be published next week. The

number of civilian staff employed has fallen by a thousand, and a

further 600 have had their applications for voluntary

redundancy approved. Yesterday the trade union Unison announced a

strike ballot in protest at plans to reduce the number of control rooms,

cutting 300 staff. Celtic have maintained their lead in

the Scottish Premiership. It was one of five matches played in the league

office has issued a warning for icy patches on the roads, really across

much of the country with eastern Scotland perhaps escaping the worst

of the ice. The temperatures will fall away sharply to make, leaving

some patchy sections of ice across the country by tomorrow morning. It

will become dry for tomorrow, especially on Western and coastal

parts. Temperatures will be around the freezing mark, but not below for

rural parts. A cold and frosty start with some showers across, when the
