There's an ongoing security alert in south Armagh.

The alert was sparked when members of the public reported

a suspicious object at the side of the Hall Road in Lislea.

The road has been cordoned off and the police are asking

Initially a police helicopter monitored the scene

from above as it was feared it may have been a hoax to lure

A local councillor said it was a big disruption for people in the area.

It appears to be like a gas cylinder type item that has been located. I

know the police helicopters have been up to try and get a closer look

at that and hopefully back at a are concerned about personal safety,

at Stormont. And that has led this

party leader to question First of all it is clear she'd

is not even going to try and lift a finger against Mairtin O Muilleoir

and it gives the lie to the promise in the manifesto they had fixed

everything at St Andrews and there would be no more solo runs

by Minister and no more party interests above the good

of the Executive. That is clearly what Mairtin O

Muilleoir is doing. He can do what is right

for the institutions, the party, or they can do

what is right for himself. He is choosing the me,

me, me option. Sinn Fein haven't commented

on Arlene Foster's call, believing nothing more needs

4-1 by Ballymena United. It looks like a pretty quiet one

tonight, no thunder and lightning expected. There will be some showers

over the weekend but a lot of the time in most places, it will be dry

and it looks like any heavy showers will be restricted to Saturday

night, especially in the east. Temperatures typically in the high

teens but a few spots will get up to 20 degrees. Tonight it is going to

cool off quite quickly, fairly clear skies, temperatures dropping to

seven or 8 degrees in the countryside, so a bit of mist and

fog for a short time on Saturday morning. A few showers to come

through the day but most places dry and pretty bright. Some sunshine at

times but also areas of high cloud drifting up from the south and in

from the west. Some showers across the west and South west of Ireland,

a few moving into the south-west of Scotland. Most of the heavy showers

will be across central and eastern areas of England at this stage.

Otherwise, a lot of places in UK and Ireland will have a dry Saturday.

Temperatures in Northern Ireland will be up to 18 or 19 degrees, it

will feel warmer at the north coast compared to today. Maybe a few heavy

showers later on on Saturday night but hopefully it will stay dry for

Fatboy Slim at Belsonic. On Sunday, one or two showers around but mostly

dry with some sunshine. If you are heading to the Belfast Mela botanic,

hopefully the showers will stay away. If you are for the Bank

Holiday on Monday, it looks like a dry day two.
