Around 300 people have gathered in Cardiff to release balloons

in memory of a father and son killed after being hit by a car last week.

Anna Louise Bates' family has been torn apart. Today 300 balloons

released into the sky in memory of her husband and young son. It has

just been so moving and to have the support of the whole community as

helped us through this time. They were the most inspirational to boys

anybody could dream of meeting. Forever young, a song played as

children held Ted DiBiase and a speech by one of Stewart hates' best

friends. The two boys together touched lots of hearts and it's

lovely that everyone has turned out for the family. We just keep them in

our thoughts. 43-year-old Stewart and seven-year-old Fraser died on

this busy road near Llantrisant last Sunday. They were hit by a car as

they tried to cross. The 22-year-old driver of the car involved in the

crash was arrested at the scene and has since been bailed by police.

Stuart hates was a keen cyclist and was planning to do a sponsored ride

for the wish upon a Star charity. Since his death the nations have

rocketed raising more than ?33,000. Fraser died at the Bristol

Children's Hospital on Sunday night. His mother said he saved up to eight

lives are becoming an organ donor and a new organ donation charity has

been launched in his memory. As the investigation into what has happened

continues a family tries to come to terms with their loss (through

charity work some good can come from the tragic event.
