Affairs Select Committee says the process should be subject

David Cameron said the Wales Bill A clearer, stronger

and fairer deal for Wales. The aim was to give the Assembly

such a comprehensive set of powers that the issue wouldn't

be revisited for a generation but after months

of concerns raised by experts, AM's and the Welsh government,

today, a committee of MPs added their voice to the need

to pause and rethink. There were a number of issues raised

that led us to think that the bill could be further improved before it

goes ahead and we feel that it would be useful for

the Secretary of State and the First Minister to discuss it

a bit further with each other before It said a proposed

list of powers that That suggestions Welsh ministers

might need permission from London before passing new laws

were too complex. And that the 60 day deadline

for UK ministers to raise objections to planned Welsh laws

could solve the problem. Opposition parties say

the Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb,

needs to listen to those concerns. He needs to come back

with something that is workable because quite clearly this

isn't going to make it any easier It's going to lead to more court

cases and that's going to waste So, there's likely

to be a rethink but this is the fourth attempt to create

a lasting devolution settlement. It doesn't necessarily have to be

scrapped but I think it's time to take a step back

to revise the bill and think The UK Government says it would

consider the report 's findings with a decision given next week.

Part of a busy street near Cardiff city centre was closed for around

six hours this morning, because of a fire which gutted

At its height, 50 firefighters were called to the scene. A shisha cafe
