As Welsh steelworkers march in London for more | :00:00. | :00:10.
support for the industry, in India, Tata continues to assess | :00:11. | :00:12.
You have to give time to the company to evaluate the bits, consider them | :00:13. | :00:29.
and then go back to bidders if they need clarification. | :00:30. | :00:33.
A jury hears Finlay Thomas was murdered in a "deliberate | :00:34. | :00:35.
and vicious" act by his mother's boyfriend. | :00:36. | :00:37.

The family of football fan Terry Coles calls for | :00:41. | :00:42.
It's claimed the project has transformed the condition of this | :00:43. | :00:54.

And just over a fortnight since his leg fractured Joe Ledley is training | :01:03. | :01:10.

Tata Steel says it still hasn't reached a decision about the future | :01:26. | :01:29.
It had been expected to decide on a shortlist of potential | :01:30. | :01:34.
buyers for the sites, which include Port Talbot, | :01:35. | :01:35.
But in the last few hours, it's said it needs more time | :01:36. | :01:42.
It comes as hundreds of steelworkers gathered in London for a rally | :01:43. | :01:46.
to urge the UK government to give more support to the industry. | :01:47. | :01:51.
Here's our Business Correspondent, Brian Meechan. | :01:52. | :01:54.
Steelworkers from Wales joined colleagues to take their message | :01:55. | :01:59.
As well as a strategy to help traditional industries, | :02:00. | :02:04.
they want ministers to ensure that Tata remains a responsible seller. | :02:05. | :02:09.
But these workers will have to wait a bit longer to find out | :02:10. | :02:18.
I am delighted that the Government decided to take a different | :02:19. | :02:25.
viewpoint. Sajid Javits was persuaded that they'd be paid to | :02:26. | :02:30.
take a statement from the steel industry if necessary -- a stake in | :02:31. | :02:35.
the steel industry. That is a confident note. That's why we've got | :02:36. | :02:40.
bidders, that's why we've also got their situation being considered. | :02:41. | :02:43.
But these workers will have to wait a bit longer to find out | :02:44. | :02:46.
which of the several bidders will progress to the next | :02:47. | :02:48.
Union members at the rally say they have a lot to offer buyers. | :02:49. | :02:54.
We make a high-quality product. We've got the best workforce in the | :02:55. | :03:01.
Wales. We believe, we passionately believe that we've got a long-term | :03:02. | :03:06.
future for this industry. Steel and Port Talbot go hand-in-hand. This | :03:07. | :03:10.
town was built in the steel industry. Without it the town would | :03:11. | :03:15.
die, a ghost town. Thousands of residents relying on the steel so | :03:16. | :03:16.
It's a rare sight to see a conservative government minister | :03:17. | :03:20.
We are united. We all agree. Perhaps this has never happened before, we | :03:21. | :03:33.
all want to save our steel. That is why the Prime Minister has said from | :03:34. | :03:37.
the outset it is a vital industry. We don't want any stone left | :03:38. | :03:41.
unturned. That is what we have done. We have looked at everything, and | :03:42. | :03:44.
continue to look at everything, because we want to make sure that | :03:45. | :03:51.
they stay open. We make steel in south Wales. That's what we are | :03:52. | :03:53.
The business secretary, Sajid Javid, has been in Mumbai | :03:54. | :03:57.
meeting the company's bosses ahead of the board meeting | :03:58. | :03:59.
According to the UK government, discussions are positive but there | :04:00. | :04:02.
Tata bosses say the process is ongoing. | :04:03. | :04:12.
At all points in time we have been working closely with the British | :04:13. | :04:21.
government both at the central level with the Business Minister and | :04:22. | :04:24.
regional level in the Welsh government. I think, fundamentally, | :04:25. | :04:33.
the premise of conversation is how to make this into an orderly | :04:34. | :04:34.
to make this into an orderly transaction. | :04:35. | :04:38.
Carwyn Jones also went to Mumbai to meet Tata bosses after first | :04:39. | :04:40.
He surprised many by saying the Excalibur management buyout bid | :04:41. | :04:44.
to takeover the company didn't yet have the funding it needed | :04:45. | :04:47.
and he would like to see them working with the Liberty bid. | :04:48. | :04:50.
The first minister is also raising concerns about the deficit | :04:51. | :04:57.
It's inevitable that unless something is done it will be | :04:58. | :05:07.
difficult for any bidder to be successful. It is a significant | :05:08. | :05:13.
liability. What I don't want to see, is the fallback position of pension | :05:14. | :05:17.
protection fund is being used. That affects both in the pension scheme. | :05:18. | :05:19.
That affects both in the pension scheme. | :05:20. | :05:21.
So the wait goes on for the workers but it's clear they'll continue | :05:22. | :05:24.
to make their voices heard as this sales process marches on. | :05:25. | :05:28.
Let's speak to Brian now, who is in Port Talbot for us tonight. | :05:29. | :05:35.
The wait goes on for workers across sites in Wales. That's right, the | :05:36. | :05:45.
wait goes on for workers and there is some concern about the process | :05:46. | :05:48.
hasn't moved forward today as expected. | :05:49. | :05:52.
But, on the other hand, the reason for that is that there are several | :05:53. | :05:58.
serious and credible bids. That does pose a good future, ultimately, for | :05:59. | :06:02.
Port Talbot and the other sites around Wales. There has been | :06:03. | :06:13.
speculation that Tata may change its mind. A turnaround plan has been put | :06:14. | :06:19.
in place that was rejected by Tata. It is already paying dividends and | :06:20. | :06:23.
the UK Government is finally talking the kind of language on pensions, | :06:24. | :06:28.
energy and Chinese tariffs that Tata 's been trying to get them to talk | :06:29. | :06:35.
for years. Today Tata said this was part of the process of selling and | :06:36. | :06:40.
they were not, at this point, looking at keeping hold. But they | :06:41. | :06:44.
will be some bidders tonight who may be quite concerned about the | :06:45. | :06:46.
direction of travel. Thank you, Brian. | :06:47. | :06:48.
A jury at Cardiff Crown Court has been hearing how a seventeen month | :06:49. | :06:51.
old toddler from the Rhondda was murdered in a "deliberate | :06:52. | :06:53.
Prosecutors say Finlay Thomas was killed by his mother's | :06:54. | :06:57.
boyfriend, and that she lied to support him. | :06:58. | :06:59.
Sean Buckley denies murder, and both he and Chloe Thomas | :07:00. | :07:02.
Finlay Thomas lived for just 17 months. | :07:03. | :07:11.
The toddler's life ended abruptly following incident at his home | :07:12. | :07:14.
in this street in Clydach Vale, near Tonypandy. | :07:15. | :07:17.
He lived in the house with his mother, Chloe Thomas, | :07:18. | :07:19.
When ambulances were called to the house on the afternoon | :07:20. | :07:24.
of the 23rd of September 2014 paramedics were told | :07:25. | :07:28.
by Sean Buckley that Finlay had fallen down the stairs. | :07:29. | :07:32.
Adding that he had done it before, not so long ago. | :07:33. | :07:35.
Finlay was taken to the local hospital, but later died | :07:36. | :07:37.
after being transferred to the University Hospital | :07:38. | :07:40.
A postmortem examination gave his cause of death | :07:41. | :07:43.
The prosecutor, Roger Thomas, told the jury at Cardiff Crown Court | :07:44. | :07:50.
that medical experts believe the severity of Finlay's brain | :07:51. | :07:53.
injury meant it was highly unlikely it was caused by a simple fall down | :07:54. | :07:56.
the stairs in a house in this street. | :07:57. | :08:00.
He said it was more typically seen in abuse caused by shaking | :08:01. | :08:03.
He told the court this was not caused by an accident, | :08:04. | :08:07.
but a deliberate and vicious act by Sean Buckley, | :08:08. | :08:10.
who had given a deceitful and manufactured account | :08:11. | :08:12.
of what happened, assisted by the lies and support | :08:13. | :08:15.
Cardiff Crown Court heard that doctors who examined Finlay's body | :08:16. | :08:21.
found previous multiple bleeds and injuries to his head and spine. | :08:22. | :08:26.
A garden chair was produced as an exhibit, and the jury was told | :08:27. | :08:30.
the toddler also had injuries consistent with him either | :08:31. | :08:32.
being struck with it, or struck against it. | :08:33. | :08:36.
There was also evidence of bleeding to his eyes, | :08:37. | :08:38.
As the case was outlined to the Julie Sean Buckley | :08:39. | :08:44.
But Finley's mother often broke down in tears as she sat | :08:45. | :08:48.
Sean Buckley denies murder, both he and Chloe Thomas deny | :08:49. | :08:53.
cruelty to a child under the age of 16. | :08:54. | :08:57.
The case is expected to last up to five weeks. | :08:58. | :09:00.
Nick Palitt, BBC Wales Today, Cardiff Crown Court. | :09:01. | :09:05.
The performance of the Welsh ambulance service has improved | :09:06. | :09:08.
after a deterioration in response times during the winter. | :09:09. | :09:12.
In April 71% of emergency vehicles responded to immediately | :09:13. | :09:14.
life-threatening calls within eight minutes, that's up | :09:15. | :09:19.
The target is that 65 % of ambulances should | :09:20. | :09:26.
arrive to so called 'red calls' within that time. | :09:27. | :09:30.
Two Labour Assembly Members have asked the Welsh Government to reject | :09:31. | :09:33.
housing proposals put forward by their Labour colleagues | :09:34. | :09:35.
Government planners had already raised concerns about the local | :09:36. | :09:40.
authority's plan, for more than thirteen and a half thousand | :09:41. | :09:44.
The council says it'll take full account of views expressed | :09:45. | :09:50.
The family of a Swansea football fan who died after being trampled | :09:51. | :09:57.
by a police horse 16 years ago has called for a review of the evidence. | :09:58. | :10:01.
Terry Coles was struck outside Rotherham football ground in 2000. | :10:02. | :10:06.
An inquest later concluded his death was 'accidental'. | :10:07. | :10:09.
His widow accepts that verdict, but believes the actions of South | :10:10. | :10:12.
It was meant to be a day of celebration, | :10:13. | :10:22.
as Swansea City gained promotion to the second division. | :10:23. | :10:25.
But it was one overshadowed by tragedy. | :10:26. | :10:27.
In the minutes before the game against Rotherham United, | :10:28. | :10:30.
42-year-old Terry Coles was trampled by a police horse. | :10:31. | :10:34.
For his family it was a traumatic experience. | :10:35. | :10:40.
More than a decade on the believe justice has not yet been served. | :10:41. | :10:45.
I feel like this is our final chance, really. | :10:46. | :10:48.
And we hope that the South Yorkshire Police will be approached | :10:49. | :10:52.
as to reconsider the evidence, readdress all the issues, | :10:53. | :10:56.
because, the end of the day, nobody deserved to go | :10:57. | :10:59.
You know, it was an accident that should never, ever have happened. | :11:00. | :11:06.
Mr Coles was with many other football fans in this lane outside | :11:07. | :11:10.
Rotherham's Millmoor ground in May 2000 when tragedy struck. | :11:11. | :11:14.
As trouble broke out between between opposing fans | :11:15. | :11:17.
South Yorkshire Police officers tried to intervene, | :11:18. | :11:20.
in the process Mr Coles was hit by a police horse. | :11:21. | :11:23.
The incident was described in court as unavoidable, | :11:24. | :11:28.
and it was said Mr Coles had stepped into the path of the horse. | :11:29. | :11:33.
Even 16 years on, as Terry Coles was remembered during the minutes | :11:34. | :11:37.
applause at the Liberty Stadium earlier this month, there are some | :11:38. | :11:42.
who believe what happened could have been avoided. | :11:43. | :11:45.
The inquest jury returned a verdict of accidental death. | :11:46. | :11:48.
Then an application for civil action against South Yorkshire Police | :11:49. | :11:51.
An investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission found | :11:52. | :12:00.
that three officers that day had failed in their duty. | :12:01. | :12:02.
The legal firm which represented the family says it was always | :12:03. | :12:05.
of the opinion South Yorkshire Police hadn't taken | :12:06. | :12:09.
the correct actions on the day when the incident happened. | :12:10. | :12:12.
Particularly, it said, in allowing mounted police to canter | :12:13. | :12:14.
I think there's definitely an option for the family to reinvestigate | :12:15. | :12:20.
Also, I think it needs to be, I request needs to be made | :12:21. | :12:29.
to the Independent Police Complaints Commission to see | :12:30. | :12:32.
whether or not their findings should be given more weight. | :12:33. | :12:36.
The Coles family says it is seeking legal advice | :12:37. | :12:39.
In the meantime, South Yorkshire Police says they are yet | :12:40. | :12:43.
to hear from Mrs Coles, but will carefully | :12:44. | :12:45.
We'll have the latest from the Wales team's Euro 2016 | :12:46. | :12:54.
training camp in Portugal, as Joe Ledley battles | :12:55. | :12:56.
And the Monmouth recording studios among the most famous in the world. | :12:57. | :13:07.
In a rare interview, the owner says he'd like to see it | :13:08. | :13:10.
For three decades Childline has offered support to four million | :13:11. | :13:20.
young people suffering from stress, depression and abuse. | :13:21. | :13:22.
On a visit to its centre in Prestayn, its founder, | :13:23. | :13:27.
Dame Esther Rantzen, has appealed for more volunteers | :13:28. | :13:30.
We can announce a brand-new idea in this country, a national helpline | :13:31. | :13:47.
for children in trouble or danger. It is free, it's called Childline. | :13:48. | :13:48.
Esther Rantzen launched the charity in 1986 giving children a 24 hour | :13:49. | :13:52.
helpline to talk about anything that was troubling them. | :13:53. | :13:55.
Childline Cymru opened in 1993 with Prestatyn acting | :13:56. | :13:56.
The average number of contacts has trebled over the past three | :13:57. | :14:02.
decades thanks partly to developments in technology. | :14:03. | :14:09.
This base has dealt with 125,000 counselling sessions dealing with | :14:10. | :14:21.
topics from exams dressed to family problems. 60% of sessions now take | :14:22. | :14:28.
place online. When we started people had landlines, children used to ring | :14:29. | :14:33.
from public phone boxes, the red boxes. Sometimes in the middle of | :14:34. | :14:37.
the night, sometimes going through snow or sleet to make that call. | :14:38. | :14:41.
From a child's point of view they regard this as a way of talking. | :14:42. | :14:46.
They say it's good to talk to you. I was watching a child being | :14:47. | :14:50.
cancelled online, the last thing she said was, thank you for listening to | :14:51. | :14:56.
me. They feel this is the new way that children can communicate | :14:57. | :15:01.
safely. What would you like to talk about today? Carroll has been a | :15:02. | :15:06.
councillor for eight years, volunteers come from all kinds of | :15:07. | :15:10.
backgrounds. She says ideal candidates only need to be good at | :15:11. | :15:15.
one thing. Listening. Young people today are under such a lot of | :15:16. | :15:20.
pressure. The main thing is nobody listens to me. Nobody listens. So | :15:21. | :15:24.
you listen. And you allow them time and space to tell their story, | :15:25. | :15:27.
really. emailing or texting thousands | :15:28. | :15:29.
of children are still sharing their stories | :15:30. | :15:31.
here and across the country. A recruitment drive will ensure | :15:32. | :15:33.
someone's always on hand There are calls for a scheme | :15:34. | :15:35.
to tackle high levels of acidity in rivers to be given the go | :15:36. | :15:40.
ahead across Wales. The charity Carmarthenshire Rivers | :15:41. | :15:43.
Trust claims its liming project has had dramatic results, | :15:44. | :15:46.
transforming a river that was failing EU standards | :15:47. | :15:49.
on water quality and wildlife. Our Environment Correspondent, | :15:50. | :15:54.
Steffan Messenger has more. This river flows between Tregaron | :15:55. | :15:57.
and Llandovery, and is an important That, for wildlife to thrive here, | :15:58. | :16:06.
it needs a helping hand. The river has been badly | :16:07. | :16:13.
affected by acidification. I've, personally, taken an reading, | :16:14. | :16:19.
and one of the first streams at the top of the catchment | :16:20. | :16:22.
which is the same as table vinegar. It was an acidic environment anyway, | :16:23. | :16:25.
but it is exacerbated by the conifer plantation at the top | :16:26. | :16:28.
of the catchment. They have a capacity to scavenge | :16:29. | :16:32.
pollutants out of the air, and in rainfall these pollutants get | :16:33. | :16:36.
washed into the river. So, since 2010, the team has been | :16:37. | :16:40.
introducing tonnes of this stuff, It reacts with the water hoping | :16:41. | :16:43.
to neutralise the acid. Those involved so the results | :16:44. | :16:51.
speak for themselves, before the project began this | :16:52. | :16:54.
catchment was deemed to be failing EU standards of water quality | :16:55. | :16:57.
and wildlife in the river. It has since been reclassified, | :16:58. | :17:01.
and now has good ecological status. These guys will tell | :17:02. | :17:12.
us a lot about what's going on in the river | :17:13. | :17:14.
with water quality. This chap here is sensitive | :17:15. | :17:16.
to acidification, so the fact we've got a few of those | :17:17. | :17:26.
is an indication Other rivers across Wales now | :17:27. | :17:28.
want to roll out the scheme to, but they are worried that the body | :17:29. | :17:36.
in charge of the environment We are concerned that although we've | :17:37. | :17:39.
had plenty of support from local resources and officers, | :17:40. | :17:49.
the policy forums, I think, They may not support the extension | :17:50. | :17:51.
elsewhere, which I One in five rivers in Wales | :17:52. | :17:58.
are vulnerable to acidification according to natural resources | :17:59. | :18:03.
Wales's own assessment. So, why not support | :18:04. | :18:06.
further liming projects? The key thing for us, | :18:07. | :18:10.
is, we have to take a long-term We want to have a look | :18:11. | :18:13.
at all the different opportunities we have to solve the problem, | :18:14. | :18:17.
and not just dipped to one. What we don't want is to carry | :18:18. | :18:20.
on liming, we are just dealing Back on the river they hope | :18:21. | :18:23.
to continue the work they feel is vital for wildlife | :18:24. | :18:29.
in and around our rivers. NRW says it will consider | :18:30. | :18:32.
whether to allow other projects like this one | :18:33. | :18:35.
on a case-by-case basis. With just over three weeks to go | :18:36. | :18:41.
until Wales' opening Euro 2016 game in France, | :18:42. | :18:44.
the team have come together at a pre-tournament | :18:45. | :18:46.
training camp in Portugal. One notable absentee is Gareth Bale, | :18:47. | :18:50.
who's playing the champions league But Joe Ledley HAS been | :18:51. | :18:53.
training- a fortnight If Chris Coleman was hoping for a | :18:54. | :19:13.
week in which his players could train, relax and bond as a squad, | :19:14. | :19:18.
they picked an ideal setting to do exactly that. The weather, perfect. | :19:19. | :19:24.
The atmosphere, laid-back. The stakes, as high as ever. | :19:25. | :19:30.
Everybody's Isaiah on this tournament. I want to prove I'm | :19:31. | :19:34.
capable of standing up and proving I can play at this level. -- everybody | :19:35. | :19:43.
is are on this tournament. There's a good team spirit, that is why we've | :19:44. | :19:48.
been so successful in the past. Among the 29 players present, and | :19:49. | :19:53.
what a great site for Wales France, a mobile Joe Ledley, assigned to | :19:54. | :19:58.
light training, but seemingly on the road back to fitness despite a | :19:59. | :20:02.
fracture just over a fortnight ago. But will he be back in time? | :20:03. | :20:08.
Once he can deal with lighter loads we will increase his tolerance as | :20:09. | :20:12.
the days go by. Hopefully, by the end of the week, he will be where we | :20:13. | :20:16.
want him to be and that will allow him to be named in the squad. Then | :20:17. | :20:21.
we'll be looking to drop him in at some point. The amount of trips that | :20:22. | :20:28.
Joe has, the experience he has. He's a vital player for us. | :20:29. | :20:35.
I'm sure he'll be there. There is one noticeable absentee, Gareth Bale | :20:36. | :20:39.
is still with his club, and there's the small matter of a Champions | :20:40. | :20:41.
League final ahead of him this weekend. Here he was training with | :20:42. | :20:50.
Ray on the dread as fans watching nervously on Saturday hoping he | :20:51. | :20:53.
comes the one scales. -- real Madrid. | :20:54. | :20:59.
We all support him. Would be on edge a little bit, we want him to do well | :21:00. | :21:03.
but we don't want him to get injured. Gareth is a pro, and he | :21:04. | :21:08.
will look after himself. With Gareth Bale in the team the | :21:09. | :21:12.
players have the confidence they can go all the way, and why not, and the | :21:13. | :21:16.
King has formally comes to beating the odds. | :21:17. | :21:22.
We want to go on and win the thing. I think that's given everyone a bit | :21:23. | :21:25.
of belief that we can go on and win this tournament. We've got the best | :21:26. | :21:31.
man in the tournament and ranks, why can't we went? | :21:32. | :21:34.
The squad leave Portugal this Sunday, back to Wales for further | :21:35. | :21:38.
training and then a final game against Sweden in June before the | :21:39. | :21:41.
reality of Euro 2016 kicks in. Glamorgan have drawn their latest | :21:42. | :21:44.
County Championship The visitors were set a target | :21:45. | :21:46.
of 334 to win and by the close of the final day had reached | :21:47. | :21:51.
160 for 5. It's the recording studios that has | :21:52. | :21:57.
played host to the likes of Oasis and Stereophonics and, | :21:58. | :22:00.
perhaps most famously, where Queen Giving a rare interview to BBC Wales | :22:01. | :22:02.
the owner of Rockfield Studios near Monmouth says he'd eventually | :22:03. | :22:09.
like to see it become Heading, not for the pressures | :22:10. | :22:11.
of London, but for the Welsh BBC archive of a band London | :22:12. | :22:28.
in a field with no runway, next to a recording studio that used | :22:29. | :22:35.
to be stable. The brainchild of Charles | :22:36. | :22:39.
and Kingsley Ward, farmers, 40 years on, Kingsley Ward | :22:40. | :22:51.
recalls how it all began. It started in 1961 when my brother | :22:52. | :22:59.
and myself had a band and we borrowed a tape recorder, | :23:00. | :23:04.
a microphone, went up to London That was our first insight | :23:05. | :23:10.
into the record business. Rockfield's back | :23:11. | :23:16.
catalogue is impressive. So what are machines used | :23:17. | :23:19.
to record iconic tracks. Now its history is on display | :23:20. | :23:23.
at the Heritage lottery funded exhibition in Monmouth Museum | :23:24. | :23:27.
who rated by local students. Among those to have recorded there, | :23:28. | :23:33.
Hobo, signed to They were there | :23:34. | :23:36.
when this happened... # Is this the real life, | :23:37. | :23:51.
# Is this just fantasy # Caught in a landslide, | :23:52. | :23:54.
# No escape from reality. When we first met them we didn't | :23:55. | :23:56.
have a lot of money really. They were far more successful | :23:57. | :23:59.
than us, but when they came, We used to play frisbee | :24:00. | :24:02.
with them in the courtyard. They used to get all the best food | :24:03. | :24:15.
and we used to get the scraps. We used to think, Queen's having | :24:16. | :24:19.
dinner, what's left! And the exhibition includes | :24:20. | :24:21.
rare moments like this. Joe Strummer with Robert Plant, | :24:22. | :24:24.
not long before Strummer's death. And now Kingsley Ward has | :24:25. | :24:29.
a long-term plan for the place. Rock field was named on all these | :24:30. | :24:43.
albums, because of that I think it could be around for many years to | :24:44. | :24:47.
Even where it might be classed as a heritage site. | :24:48. | :24:50.
So we may all be able to experience a bit of the magic in the future. | :24:51. | :24:57.
But, for now, it's very much still in the music business. | :24:58. | :25:01.
Well, still very much in the weather business is Behnaz, | :25:02. | :25:03.
what have we got to look forward to, Benny? | :25:04. | :25:08.
We have plenty to sing about! We can look forward to sunshine tomorrow | :25:09. | :25:14.
and into the weekend, compared to today when it's been cloudy. | :25:15. | :25:18.
Tomorrow is slightly warmer with more sunshine. Tonight could see | :25:19. | :25:23.
limited amounts of brightness, but generally it is a cloudy picture | :25:24. | :25:26.
with some rain across North Wales into the overnight period. It is | :25:27. | :25:32.
light and patchy, most of us getting away with a dry night. Temperatures | :25:33. | :25:40.
are not dropping too much. Tomorrow, we have this weather front which | :25:41. | :25:43.
will clear northwards and things will start to improve a little bit | :25:44. | :25:48.
as we go through the morning. First thing tomorrow just a little rain | :25:49. | :25:51.
lingering along parts of Anglesey and that will clear and bright and | :25:52. | :25:58.
from the south. Most of us should see the sunshine tomorrow, but the | :25:59. | :26:01.
risk of review showers by the afternoon. Temperatures, slightly | :26:02. | :26:08.
warmer than today ranging between 12 and 17 Celsius. The best we managed | :26:09. | :26:12.
today was 14 in mumbles. We will certainly feel the difference will | :26:13. | :26:18.
stop any remaining showers will clear, and we'll see clear skies | :26:19. | :26:21.
into the early hours of Friday morning. | :26:22. | :26:25.
We could see some mist and fog forming as well. It will be chilly, | :26:26. | :26:30.
getting down to around seven Celsius in the Brecon Beacons. | :26:31. | :26:35.
Winds are light and variable. On Friday that front just lingering, | :26:36. | :26:39.
but nowhere near us so we look forward to another day of sunshine. | :26:40. | :26:44.
Again, the risk of review she was. Feeling warmer as we head into | :26:45. | :26:48.
Friday, it bit of cloud first thing that sunshine should breakthrough. | :26:49. | :26:52.
The sunshine triggering though she was as we go through the day, they | :26:53. | :26:57.
could be heavy and sundry, but if you can't dodge the showers it's not | :26:58. | :27:02.
a bad state. It will feel warm. The winds are light, and coming from a | :27:03. | :27:10.
southerly direction. More chance she was on the weekend, a shows on | :27:11. | :27:14.
Sunday with more in the way of sunshine. Not looking too bad at | :27:15. | :27:22.
all. A reminder of our top story. Tata says it needs more time to | :27:23. | :27:26.
evaluate potential buyers of its plants. They had been expected to | :27:27. | :27:30.
short bidders. Steelworkers have gathered in London for a rally to | :27:31. | :27:33.
urge the Government to offer more support. | :27:34. | :27:34.
We'll have a quick update at 8pm, more after the BBC News at Ten. | :27:35. | :27:38.
But for now, from all of us on the programme, | :27:39. | :27:42. |
