Gareth Bale emerges injury-free from the Champions League Final. | :01:12. | :01:21.
For more than two decades he was kept a slave, | :01:22. | :01:25.
controlled, beaten and kidnapped when he managed to escape. | :01:26. | :01:29.
Now, after these three men were convicted of forcing him | :01:30. | :01:31.
to work against his will, Michael Hughes has spoken | :01:32. | :01:34.
about his experience for the first time. | :01:35. | :01:36.
Caroline Evans has this exclusive report. | :01:37. | :01:38.
For legal reasons we're not allowed to show his face and his words | :01:39. | :01:41.
are spoken by a member of our production team. | :01:42. | :01:49.
He arrived in Cardiff looking for a better life, took up the offer of | :01:50. | :01:56.
work but what happened is almost beyond belief. He says he was traded | :01:57. | :02:02.
from one person to another. Like sold. Sold for money? Yeah. How did | :02:03. | :02:13.
that work? I don't know, like... They just confided in themselves and | :02:14. | :02:17.
said, look, I've got a good workman fair. How much are you going to give | :02:18. | :02:22.
me for him? And you knew about this? Yeah. And you went along with it a | :02:23. | :02:29.
question mark that happen? Well, I was just... They always promised | :02:30. | :02:34.
better and better but they said they would get me somewhere to live, nice | :02:35. | :02:39.
caravan or else put me in a flat. But I ended up in a garden shed. | :02:40. | :02:45.
Yes. Tell me about the types of conditions that you lived in of | :02:46. | :02:50.
those years. I stayed in a garden shed till it was rotted away. There | :02:51. | :02:54.
was no electricity. No toilet. No running water. I had to wash in a | :02:55. | :03:01.
bucket. If I needed the toilet, I had to go in a field. | :03:02. | :03:07.
Last week, three men were convicted of forcing Michael Hughes to work | :03:08. | :03:13.
against his will. The judge told him them -- told them he had been | :03:14. | :03:20.
conditioned to be a safe. I did escape. I was bundled into the boot | :03:21. | :03:28.
of a car and taken all the way back from Aberdeen. I was brought back to | :03:29. | :03:32.
exactly the same place. It had taken me five days to get away from there. | :03:33. | :03:38.
I was beaten them. It's unimaginable for most of us. How did you feel at | :03:39. | :03:46.
that time? I just felt like a slave. I never had a life. I tried | :03:47. | :03:53.
escaping. They bring you back. They said, you try escaping again, we | :03:54. | :03:57.
will get rid of you and no one will miss you. It's just you don't feel | :03:58. | :04:00.
like anything really, just an object. Chief Superintendent Paul | :04:01. | :04:07.
Griffiths, who led the investigation, said supporting | :04:08. | :04:09.
victims is a priority for the officers involved. They are crimes | :04:10. | :04:16.
of a serious nature that occurred in our society but in my experience, I | :04:17. | :04:20.
cannot recall a crime occurring for such a long period of time and that | :04:21. | :04:27.
has certainly affected the officers concerned, in terms of how they felt | :04:28. | :04:30.
towards the victim, the support that was necessary and to make sure the | :04:31. | :04:36.
offenders were brought to justice. Michael Hughes said he shared his | :04:37. | :04:41.
story with me to give other side. If there are any others out there, | :04:42. | :04:44.
please come forward because the police will believe your story. I | :04:45. | :04:47.
didn't believe I would ever get any help. It took me 26 years to come | :04:48. | :04:53.
across but they will help you. They will protect you. That is what I | :04:54. | :04:57.
have come to realise now. The former Wales International | :04:58. | :05:01.
footballer, Ched Evans, will face a retrial for rape | :05:02. | :05:05.
at the beginning of October. The date was set at a hearing | :05:06. | :05:08.
in Cardiff this morning. His original rape conviction | :05:09. | :05:12.
from 2012 was quashed by the Court Chad Evans arrived at Cardiff Crown | :05:13. | :05:23.
Court today for a short hearing to find out about the details of his | :05:24. | :05:30.
retrial. It was ordered last month after his original conviction was | :05:31. | :05:32.
quashed by the Court of Appeal. After a night out in Rhyl in 2011, | :05:33. | :05:37.
he was accused of raping a woman in a hotel room. He was convicted the | :05:38. | :05:40.
following year but always protested his innocence. He was released in | :05:41. | :05:45.
2014, after he served half of a five prison sentence. Before his | :05:46. | :05:49.
conviction, he'd been a promising striker. Called up to the Wales | :05:50. | :05:56.
squad in 2008, he had 13 caps for his country. Once released from | :05:57. | :06:00.
jail, it seemed he would not be able to resume his footballing career. | :06:01. | :06:05.
Jessica Ennis-Hill threatened to pull her support from the football | :06:06. | :06:13.
club. After a ten month investigation, he successfully | :06:14. | :06:16.
appealed his original conviction and has been granted a new trial. Chad | :06:17. | :06:23.
Evans spoke only to say his name and plead not guilty. -- Ched. He was | :06:24. | :06:29.
told his case will be heard on the 4th of October and it will be | :06:30. | :06:33.
expected to last two weeks. He was given unconditional bail. | :06:34. | :06:36.
Police have appealed for help in the search for an Irish Ferries | :06:37. | :06:39.
crewman who, it was initially feared, may have gone overboard off | :06:40. | :06:42.
29-year-old Maarian Neagoo, a Romanian member of the catering | :06:43. | :06:50.
staff, was last seen 45 minutes before the ferry | :06:51. | :06:52.
from Rosslare docked at Pembroke Dock | :06:53. | :06:53.
He hasn't been seen since, despite an extensive search. | :06:54. | :06:57.
The First Minister Carwyn Jones says he had constructive and significant | :06:58. | :07:01.
discussions with senior Tata leaders in Mumbai, about the future | :07:02. | :07:05.
Tata is in the process of evaluating the offers it's received for its UK | :07:06. | :07:14.
assets, which include plants in Port Talbot and Shotton. | :07:15. | :07:16.
14 men have appeared at Mold Crown Court, | :07:17. | :07:20.
charged with 45 offences, including rape, sexual assault | :07:21. | :07:22.
All the defendants, who are aged between 18 and 31, deny the charges, | :07:23. | :07:29.
The first of two trials will start next January. | :07:30. | :07:37.
A second GP, accused of unlawfully killing a 12-year- | :07:38. | :07:39.
Ryan Morse had undiagnosed Addison's disease when he died in 2012. | :07:40. | :07:47.
The Judge ruled there was insufficient evidence to convict | :07:48. | :07:49.
Dr Joanne Rudling of failing to prevent his death. | :07:50. | :07:52.
Her colleague - Dr Lyndsey Thomas - was acquitted of manslaughter | :07:53. | :07:54.
Police are investigating a series of HOAX bomb threats made to schools | :07:55. | :08:02.
At the start of this month, two doctors appeared here at Cardiff | :08:03. | :08:09.
Crown Court, accused of manslaughter through gross negligence. The two | :08:10. | :08:16.
doctors were accused of failing to examine Ryan Morse in person, the | :08:17. | :08:20.
day before he died, when he was extremely unwell. The court heard | :08:21. | :08:23.
evidence from Ryan's mother and from a series of experts but then adjust | :08:24. | :08:27.
-- the judge decided there wasn't enough evidence for a properly | :08:28. | :08:31.
directed jury to conflict either of the doctors of the charge of | :08:32. | :08:35.
manslaughter. The case against Doctor Thomas was dismissed some 11 | :08:36. | :08:40.
days ago now but the Crown Prosecution Service made an | :08:41. | :08:42.
application to the Court of Appeal to try to continue the prosecution | :08:43. | :08:46.
against a colleague. That application was heard in London | :08:47. | :08:50.
yesterday and dismissed so now today, like her colleague, she has | :08:51. | :08:55.
been found not guilty of manslaughter. There is a second | :08:56. | :09:01.
charge, of perverting the course of public justice. Prosecutors said she | :09:02. | :09:06.
added notes to the records after he died. She denies that the charge but | :09:07. | :09:11.
is likely to face a fresh trial with a fresh jury in the coming weeks. | :09:12. | :09:15.
Police are investigating a series of hoax bomb threats made to schools | :09:16. | :09:18.
It follows similar problems in England and Northern Ireland this | :09:19. | :09:22.
Police say there is nothing to suggest the incidents | :09:23. | :09:25.
This was the scene outside Whitchurch high school in Cardiff | :09:26. | :09:37.
this morning. At 9:45am, the switchboard received a hoax bomb | :09:38. | :09:44.
threat. By ten past ten, 2000 pupils, staff and visitors had been | :09:45. | :09:48.
evacuated as a precaution. The school says everyone was allowed | :09:49. | :09:53.
back in by lunchtime, following discussions. Lots of children were | :09:54. | :09:56.
due to take exams here today and in a statement, the headteacher says | :09:57. | :10:02.
those were allowed take place but steps will be taken to make sure no | :10:03. | :10:05.
candidate is disadvantaged by what happened. In Swansea, police were | :10:06. | :10:11.
called to this school just after ten o'clock, again in response to a | :10:12. | :10:15.
hoax. All pupils and staff were safely evacuated to a nearby school. | :10:16. | :10:19.
It is the latest in a series of what has been described by police as | :10:20. | :10:24.
malicious hoax communications, across the UK this week. A total of | :10:25. | :10:29.
11 schools in Northern Ireland have received hoax bomb threats in the | :10:30. | :10:33.
past few days. In England, 20 schools have been affected. And in | :10:34. | :10:36.
Wales, for schools have been evacuated as a precaution. These | :10:37. | :10:42.
forces are now working together to investigate who is responsible and | :10:43. | :10:46.
whether the incidents are linked. Tonight, people are -- police are | :10:47. | :10:50.
reassuring them public but at this stage, there is nothing to suggest | :10:51. | :10:54.
incidents like this are terror related. | :10:55. | :10:56.
Plans to merge local authorities are no longer sustainable. | :10:57. | :10:59.
That's the message from council leaders, who've discussed the issue | :11:00. | :11:01.
for the first time since a new Welsh government was formed. | :11:02. | :11:04.
Earlier this week the First Minister said it was "obvious" that previous | :11:05. | :11:07.
plans to reduce the number from 22 - to eight or nine, wouldn't get | :11:08. | :11:10.
enough support in the Assembly to go ahead. | :11:11. | :11:13.
Our political reporter Cemlyn Davies is here. | :11:14. | :11:15.
Merging local authorities is an issue which has had a lot of | :11:16. | :11:26.
attention over the last couple of years and especially since those | :11:27. | :11:28.
controversial plans to cut the number of local authorities to eight | :11:29. | :11:33.
or nine were published. Since then, we've had an election and the | :11:34. | :11:37.
minister who was responsible for local government reorganisation, has | :11:38. | :11:42.
lost his seat. Earlier this week, Colin Jones said his plans wouldn't | :11:43. | :11:47.
be going ahead because of a lack of support for them. He is now having | :11:48. | :11:52.
to debate this issue further and try and get support from other parties. | :11:53. | :11:58.
Again, everything is up in the air. What Welsh councils want is clarity | :11:59. | :12:02.
about what is likely to happen next. They are saying that forcing | :12:03. | :12:07.
councils to urge in getting bogged down in a long process is not the | :12:08. | :12:11.
way forward. That wouldn't be sustainable. Instead, the focus | :12:12. | :12:16.
should be on moving quickly and looking at a new, more creative way | :12:17. | :12:19.
of getting councils to cooperate at a regional level. | :12:20. | :12:31.
Throughout all of this, the priority should be on delivering public | :12:32. | :12:37.
services in these times of austerity. What we are hoping for | :12:38. | :12:44.
and I know all leaders reunited today, is that we can see a positive | :12:45. | :12:51.
negotiation with the new minister. A fresh start to face challenges which | :12:52. | :12:58.
are coming our way. Financial pressures and austerity are | :12:59. | :13:01.
overwhelming. What response has there been? We've | :13:02. | :13:05.
had a statement from the new Cabinet member responsible for local | :13:06. | :13:10.
government. That is Mark Drake foot. He says he understands the need for | :13:11. | :13:15.
clarity and reorganisation of the next few weeks and months. He will | :13:16. | :13:19.
be meeting local government leaders and others to hear what they have to | :13:20. | :13:23.
say on this issue. He is trying to gather as many opinions and views as | :13:24. | :13:29.
possible. Today, the W LGA has made it quite clear how they think things | :13:30. | :13:31.
should proceed. Still to come in the programme: Some | :13:32. | :13:46.
of the thousands of Belgians, forced to flee to Britain | :13:47. | :13:49.
during the First World War. Now an appeal to find out more | :13:50. | :13:51.
about those who came to Wales. And still a few showers for the bank | :13:52. | :13:54.
holiday weekend but warmer People living in the seaside village | :13:55. | :13:57.
of New Quay in Ceredigion claim shellfish waste from a local fish | :13:58. | :14:02.
factory is ruining their beaches The factory Quay Fresh | :14:03. | :14:05.
and Frozen Foods is hoping to renew its marine licence | :14:06. | :14:08.
to deposit clean, crushed whelk But Matt Murry's been meeting local | :14:09. | :14:11.
people, who say the shell waste has The golden beaches of Newquay have | :14:12. | :14:25.
always been a attraction for holiday-makers the people living | :14:26. | :14:28.
here feel they are not as golden as they used to be. With large sections | :14:29. | :14:34.
of the beach covered with shells from a local factory, which deposits | :14:35. | :14:38.
crushed whelks shells into the sea. The company is looking for a renewal | :14:39. | :14:42.
of its licence to keep on carrying out this practice but locals feel | :14:43. | :14:47.
the problem is getting worse. Fiona Best and his son, Thomas, are happy | :14:48. | :14:51.
to look at shells on sale but feel the crushed ones on the beach are | :14:52. | :14:55.
dangerous. The main thing is it's the children running in and out of | :14:56. | :14:59.
the sea. They kept their feet. Therefore, they didn't have that | :15:00. | :15:04.
problem. When I was running, it hurts my feet and my daddy told | :15:05. | :15:15.
me... When you walk along the speech, it does actually crunch and | :15:16. | :15:18.
that is the welcome shells and my feet breaking up. When you pick up | :15:19. | :15:22.
one of the shells and feel it, it's quite sharp. You can understand why | :15:23. | :15:25.
some parents are concerned about their children playing on the | :15:26. | :15:29.
speech. There is also concern about wildlife and the damage these things | :15:30. | :15:34.
are doing to boats. Brenda Grainger lives next door to the fish factory. | :15:35. | :15:38.
She supports the company as it is good for the local economy but | :15:39. | :15:41.
believes they could dispose of their shells in a different way. I think | :15:42. | :15:45.
it is spoiling the beach. There are too many shells around and it's | :15:46. | :15:52.
aggravating engines in boats. It's getting people's feet. The problem | :15:53. | :15:56.
is, if the fish factory aren't allowed to dispose of them in the | :15:57. | :16:01.
sea, we can't have more traffic going up Rock Street because that is | :16:02. | :16:08.
too much. A public consultation will decide whether to renew the licence, | :16:09. | :16:12.
allowing the factory to continue to put shall waste into the sea. We | :16:13. | :16:17.
need to look at the impact on the environment. We need to look at the | :16:18. | :16:26.
impact on wildlife and human health. And a wide range of things concerned | :16:27. | :16:30.
with how people use the sea. The company say they will not comment | :16:31. | :16:35.
while their application for a licence is under review. The | :16:36. | :16:38.
consultation will continue on whether these shells are a blight or | :16:39. | :16:41.
adding to the beauty of this popular tourist spot. | :16:42. | :16:42.
Dan Lydiate will captain Wales in the absence of the injured | :16:43. | :16:53.
Sam Warburton against England at Twickenham on Sunday. | :16:54. | :16:55.
Lock Alun Wyn Jones returns from injury. | :16:56. | :16:56.
There's one change in the backs from the side that beat | :16:57. | :16:59.
Italy in the Six Nations, with Scott Williams partnering | :17:00. | :17:01.
Coach Warren Gatland says it's an important game ahead of three | :17:02. | :17:06.
tests against world champions New Zealand next month. | :17:07. | :17:15.
Sometimes, you go to the southern hemisphere and play in the first | :17:16. | :17:21.
Test match and the guys haven't played for four weeks. We just go to | :17:22. | :17:29.
the game to try and get is up to speed, to what we're going to | :17:30. | :17:31.
encounter in the southern hemisphere. | :17:32. | :17:32.
It's a big weekend for Gareth Bale and a nervous one for the rest | :17:33. | :17:37.
of us, hoping he'll emerge from the Champions League Final unscathed. | :17:38. | :17:39.
His Real Madrid side take on Atletico Madrid. | :17:40. | :17:41.
Bale is aiming to emulate Ryan Giggs and Joey Jones, the Welshmen who've | :17:42. | :17:44.
He scored to help Real win the Cup two years ago. | :17:45. | :17:53.
We know we can do it and now we just have to go and prove it again that | :17:54. | :17:59.
we can. Confidence is high but we know it is going to be very | :18:00. | :18:04.
difficult game. We know that they are a very difficult team and we're | :18:05. | :18:10.
confident but we will go the game with spirits hoping to win. Just | :18:11. | :18:12.
don't get injured! His Wales team-mate, Joe Allen, | :18:13. | :18:14.
is a doubt for the warm-up match in Sweden because of a minor knee | :18:15. | :18:17.
injury but he's expected Meanwhile, Allen, who's | :18:18. | :18:20.
with the Wales squad on a training camp in Portugal, says he'll only | :18:21. | :18:24.
discuss his future at Liverpool The midfielder, who has one year | :18:25. | :18:27.
left on his contract, says he's determined to concentrate | :18:28. | :18:33.
only on Wales for the next No, it's not on my mind at all. As | :18:34. | :18:45.
soon as the season was done with Liverpool, I was 100% focused on | :18:46. | :18:48.
Wales. I said to myself, that's the way it's going to be. I'm here to | :18:49. | :18:54.
represent my country. Anything with regards to my future will come after | :18:55. | :18:56.
that. Tonight, unions in France | :18:57. | :18:57.
are warning they'll disrupt traffic and public transport in cities | :18:58. | :18:59.
where Euro 2016 matches will be held in protest | :19:00. | :19:02.
at controversial labour laws. Well, it all kicks off | :19:03. | :19:05.
in a fortnight and in the year when Wales will be playing | :19:06. | :19:12.
tournament football for the first time since the '50s, there's a call | :19:13. | :19:15.
for a Welsh National Football The Wrexham supporters' Trust wants | :19:16. | :19:18.
it to be in the north east of Wales, as none of the National Museums | :19:19. | :19:23.
and Galleries are based there. Future of Welsh football has never | :19:24. | :19:35.
been brighter. While the players prepare for a summer in France, | :19:36. | :19:40.
there is a campaign back home are aimed at bringing together elements | :19:41. | :19:44.
of our footballing past. Peter Jones is Wrexham football club's | :19:45. | :19:48.
historian. The doubting where he wants to see the museum established. | :19:49. | :19:53.
In 1877, when Welsh football is played here, in America, General | :19:54. | :19:58.
Custer was fighting the battle of little Bighorn. History is here, at | :19:59. | :20:02.
the racecourse. Many regard Wrexham is the of Welsh football, after all, | :20:03. | :20:08.
Wales's first home match was played back here in March 18 77. The | :20:09. | :20:14.
racecourse is the oldest surviving international ground in the world. | :20:15. | :20:20.
Exactly 140 years ago, the football Association of Wales was formed here | :20:21. | :20:25.
at this hotel in the town. Scotland has one and the National Museum in | :20:26. | :20:29.
Manchester is one of the biggest football collections in the world. | :20:30. | :20:33.
Even Robbie Savage's ponytail is on display there. The local council | :20:34. | :20:38.
helped fund at, ?2 million a year. And many from the Heritage lottery | :20:39. | :20:43.
fund covers the cost of buying the collections. How feasible would | :20:44. | :20:47.
setting up a similar museum in Wales B? This is John Charles's debut | :20:48. | :20:55.
shirt... In Wrexham, A conference of archive is stored in the museum. An | :20:56. | :21:00.
exhibition to coincide with Euro 2016 is planned here. But from the | :21:01. | :21:06.
man in charge, a word of caution. Starting a museum from scratch is | :21:07. | :21:11.
great fun but running a museum from day-to-day is a tricky business. | :21:12. | :21:17.
You're trying to set up a business that won't make money but you don't | :21:18. | :21:21.
want too big a loss. There are no museums and galleries in the | :21:22. | :21:26.
north-east, so people say it will only be fair. There is a Slate | :21:27. | :21:32.
Museum in North Wales and another one looks at coal. We've even got in | :21:33. | :21:37.
National wool Museum for Wales. It quite strange that would haven't got | :21:38. | :21:41.
anything that looks at popular culture or any aspect of that, and | :21:42. | :21:44.
the way popular culture and more specifically sport has shaped the | :21:45. | :21:50.
history of Wales. With the European Championships just a fortnight away, | :21:51. | :21:54.
campaigners insist there has never been a better time to celebrate | :21:55. | :21:57.
Wales's part in developing the beautiful game. | :21:58. | :22:03.
Chris Coleman will name his squad for Euro 2016 on Tuesday, Sony dash | :22:04. | :22:05.
more from me next week. An appeal is underway | :22:06. | :22:07.
for information about a group of refugees who made their home | :22:08. | :22:09.
here a century ago. A quarter of a million Belgians came | :22:10. | :22:12.
to Britain to escape the First World 4,500 of them ended up | :22:13. | :22:15.
in Wales but little These were some of the 250,000 | :22:16. | :22:22.
Belgians forced to leave their country and flee to Britain | :22:23. | :22:26.
at the start of the First World War. Christophe Declerque's great | :22:27. | :22:31.
grandfather was one of them and he's spent the past decade tracking down | :22:32. | :22:33.
as much information as he can Many thousands came to Wales | :22:34. | :22:37.
and their arrival generally There is an iconic picture at Rhyl, | :22:38. | :22:54.
where more than 800 people turned up for two dozen Belgian refugees, | :22:55. | :22:57.
providing a very warm welcome. There was a lot of hassle as well. | :22:58. | :23:02.
Everyone wanted to carry their luggage. Everybody is going wild | :23:03. | :23:10.
about refugees. This only a few dozen in the entire country, whereas | :23:11. | :23:14.
at the time, they were like thousands. | :23:15. | :23:16.
Some of the Belgian refugees made their mark in unusual ways. | :23:17. | :23:18.
One Eugeen Vanfleteren designed and built the so-called Black Chair | :23:19. | :23:21.
awarded posthumously to the poet Hedd Wynn who was killed | :23:22. | :23:26.
Elsewhere there are commemorative plaques like this one in Bangor | :23:27. | :23:30.
or monuments to repay the kindness of strangers. | :23:31. | :23:35.
This is the Belgian promenade near Menai Bridge, built a century ago | :23:36. | :23:44.
the refugees as the thank you for the hospitality they received year. | :23:45. | :23:47.
It was rebuilt in the 60s and reopened by one of those original | :23:48. | :23:51.
Belgians. But despite these landmarks, little is known about the | :23:52. | :23:55.
refugees as few decided to make Wales their permanent home. One | :23:56. | :23:58.
historian is trying to increase our awareness of the time they spent | :23:59. | :24:02.
here. It is an overlooked group. There are reasons behind that. When | :24:03. | :24:06.
the war ended, the government was eager to have jobs available for | :24:07. | :24:10.
returning soldiers in the Belgian government was very eager to have | :24:11. | :24:13.
their people back at home to start rebuilding their country. The body | :24:14. | :24:20.
just got on with their business. The Wales for peace Heritage Project, | :24:21. | :24:24.
set up to ask questions, wants people to research their own | :24:25. | :24:27.
communities to uncover more about Wales's Belgian guests. | :24:28. | :24:34.
The bank Holiday weekend is nearly here. What is the weather got in | :24:35. | :24:36.
store for us? It's not looking too bad. Feeling | :24:37. | :24:43.
warmer heading into the bank holiday weekend. Image of sunshine and | :24:44. | :24:46.
showers. Showers are more likely on Saturday. Drier on Sunday. Tonight, | :24:47. | :24:53.
if you showers pushing up from the side. Some could be thundery. Easing | :24:54. | :24:59.
through the night. Some mist patches. It quite muddy night -- | :25:00. | :25:03.
muggy night with temperatures remaining in double figures. | :25:04. | :25:08.
Tomorrow, is low-pressure systems circling around the UK. The shower | :25:09. | :25:13.
risk is never too far away. Really low cloud and mist will lift and | :25:14. | :25:18.
break. Then it is a mixture of sunshine and showers. This showers | :25:19. | :25:21.
could develop further through the afternoon. A warning this humidity | :25:22. | :25:26.
could trigger the odd thunder shower but like today, they will be hit and | :25:27. | :25:29.
miss. Many places avoiding them completely. Sunny spells in between. | :25:30. | :25:35.
Like, south-easterly winds introducing some warmer air. Top | :25:36. | :25:42.
temperature of 15 in Gwynedd. Tomorrow night, if you showers which | :25:43. | :25:47.
could be heavy before they gradually ease away overnight. Clear spells | :25:48. | :25:51.
and light winds will allow mist patches and coastal fog to develop. | :25:52. | :25:56.
Overnight lows of between eight and 12 Celsius. Through the weekend, | :25:57. | :26:00.
these low-pressure systems should move away eastwards, allowing high | :26:01. | :26:03.
pressure to build from the West. Things will start settle down until | :26:04. | :26:09.
this feature heads westwards late on Monday. Sunny spells and if you like | :26:10. | :26:15.
to showers on Sunday. Temperatures in the high teens everywhere. If you | :26:16. | :26:20.
places possibly even reaching the low 20s. Similar on Monday. Cloud | :26:21. | :26:27.
and rain could spread in from the east. It is that mixture of sunshine | :26:28. | :26:34.
and showers through the bank holiday weekend. More in the way of sunshine | :26:35. | :26:42.
on Sunday. Feeling quite close and milder by night. Finally, one of our | :26:43. | :26:47.
weather watchers took this picture. Caroline's view in Mountain Ash. | :26:48. | :26:53.
Turning warmer everywhere over the next few days. You have any photos | :26:54. | :26:59.
you want to send this, upload pictures to the website. As always, | :27:00. | :27:03.
keep up with the detail of the bank with a weekend on the smartphone or | :27:04. | :27:04.
the website. A man who has kept a slave for two | :27:05. | :27:17.
decades has spoken about his experience for the first time. | :27:18. | :27:21.
Earlier this week, these three men were convicted of forcing Michael | :27:22. | :27:24.
Hughes of working against his will. He has told us how he was | :27:25. | :27:28.
controlled, beaten and Pip -- kidnapped when he managed to escape. | :27:29. | :27:33.
I will be back with a quick update at eight o'clock for you and with | :27:34. | :27:36.
more after the ten o'clock News. Thanks for your company. Have a | :27:37. | :27:39.
great weekend. Goodbye. | :27:40. | :27:43. |
