Goodbye. Good evening. Once again we have had some atrocious weather

today and, if anything, it looks worse tomorrow. This major area of

low pressure is driving in a very vicious weather front, not only

heavy rain tomorrow, but disruptive widespread gales across the UK.

Let's focus on the rain. There are numerous warnings out at the moment.

The amber warnings focus on areas where we have been affected by

flooding this week. Parts of southern and western Scotland,

south Wales and South Western parts of England, but by no means other

places seeing problems. The wind will pick up to gale force widely.

Severe gale force around the coasts. Bad conditions on the road for

Northern Ireland and Scotland during the morning rush, the rain

will ease across England and Wales. Three to six hours of heavy rain

fall. Intense rain fall for a short period of time on that weather

front could drop a significant amount of rain, perhaps an initial

or two of rain for some areas where we have seen those amounts in the

past 36-hours. It seems likely we will see further disruption with

flooding. As it clears away brightness will come out for

Northern Ireland. Scattering of showers, a drop in temperature.

Will feel colder here and across western Scotland in the afternoon.

Snow over the Scottish mountains. Wet across the northern isles,

northern England into the afternoon, very wet indeed with gale force

winds. Dry for many parts of the south-east we will get the gales

come the evening they could be disruptive as well. With the ground

so saturated we could have frees -- trees down as well. The winds will

ease for northern and western areas as we move into Friday. The rain

will drag its heels across the south and east. More wet weather

approaching for the weekend. Uncertainty as to how quickly this

low pressure will move north to bring us more potential gales and
