temperature again 20. Fewer showers. Most out towards the east.

That's the way it is looking. Good evening. For some the weather

put on a show today - lightning and hail. For others more of a no-show.

Showers at Wimbledon stayed away. They were further west. Torrential

downpours with the lightning flashes over East Anglia. Local flooding in

for folk. Showers through Glastonbury.

Thunder storms over Mid Wales currently. Flashes of lightning will

ease away during the night. Wet weather over northern England, the

north Midlands. Some showers continuing in the north-west. Misty

after all the moisture. It will be a mild night here. Further north, a

fine night and chilly in Scotland. Temperatures in rural areas well

down into single figures. For here and Northern Ireland, by and large

another fine day. For England and Wales tomorrow, we will watch those

thunderstorms develop once more Particularly over the Midlands and

southern counties of England and Wales. Again some flashes of

lightening. Some hailstones mixed in. By contrast Scotland and

Northern Ireland, yes, maybe one or two light showers. Sunshine over

western Scotland. Here we may reach 20 Celsius. 13-14, particularly

fresh on the east coast. Further south, the showers will be anything

but light. Like today, they will be hit and miss. There will be drier

zones. It shows the area most likely to see the thunderstorms. Yes,

Wimbledon is in that area. So, a greater chance of seeing some

interruptions to play tomorrow. That zone of potentially violent storms

around through the evening, but fading away. High pressure is edging

in through the weekend. We have a northerly flow for Sunday. Winds

from the north. In eastern areas, that is where we are likely to see

the showers on Sunday. One or two scattered showers elsewhere. With

the breeze from the north, well it is never going to be warm, despite

some sunshine. Temperatures around a little below the average for the end

of June. Some sunshine, but also some thunderstorms. Some shower in

the east on Sunday. For many, that is how it is
